Sometimes the comments here are so disparaging.. everyone on this show clearly has issues, but I also think that's what makes them human and relatable. They all have room for growth, and imho none of them are past the point of redemption. I'm still rooting for everyone on here whether they end up with their original partner or not.
You have perfectly summed up my critiques of the show with all controversies aside. I honestly adored every moment of this drama with the magical OT3 (Sobin, Soohyun, and Joon), but there were too many side characters for such a short drama. Somehow the viewers were suppose to care about these characters despite their criminally underdeveloped personalities and plots. Thank you for a great review
Can't wait for another Han So Hee drama!! If anyone doubts her acting please watch more of her dramas! Each character she plays is diverse and dynamic, and she is the key element that brings them all to life. To me, she is truly an outstanding actress of this generation
The second paragraph in the synopsis sounds so similar to School 2013, but I loved School 2013 so if there's bromance please bring it!! I'm here for it
this show is really good so far but someone let me know why they were gonna break up if only to get back together…
KDJ's mother makes a comment about how JYD just needs to live a long and healthy life and she'll be happy for her daughter. JYD felt burdened by his heart condition and was afraid he would never be able to keep that promise. JYD breaks up with KDJ to avoid the "inevitable" heartbreak of his heart condition leading him to an early death. KDJ later finds out the reason for the break up. They talk, they heal, and they get back together :)
Overall I honestly really enjoyed this drama but I just wish NaBi had ended single??? She could have gone to Paris, gained confidence through her art, and come back a matured woman? To me PJE as endgame just made little sense. Both of them were at the beginning of their journeys of personal growth and I don't believe either of them can grow further in that relationship. Nevertheless... thanks for a fun 10 weeks!
I agree that vincenzo irked me with the suicide bomb, but then he is a mafia, he never claimed to be a good person,…
To be honest, I didn't bother me that Vincenzo was involved in killing people, its the fact that (once again) a KCSI agent turned a blind eye to a death of a civilian AND all the people in the building were completely unaffected by the incredibly gruesome death (one of the worst in the season) of someone they had gotten to know over the months.
I think my biggest gripe with the show is it lacked heart and humanity. I felt no human connection to any of the characters and no human connection between the characters. Again, I think this comes down a personal preference with watching dramas and Vincenzo just really REALLY ended up not being my cup of tea.
It's Okay, That's Love is nice and healing in a similar way
Age of Youth, Lucky Romance, Lovestruck in the City, It's Okay To Not Be Okay, Navillera, That Winter the Wind Blows, When the Camellia Blooms. All of those have similar characteristics but different vibes, really depends on what you're looking for. Good luck!
lol
