I really need C-Dramas to accept they don't have 60 episodes anymore.
Rushing the ending b/c you didn't pace things well, is so annoying and ruins an otherwise good story. Also it's okay to cut out characters and story lines and narrow the focus of a story so you can keep the story moving and unrushed.
He's my fave character in the series. FL being my second favorite.
YanYun has reached Mary Sue territory for me so it's hard for me to look at him as a *real* character since they've essentially made him perfect with no discernible flaws. Makes him one dimensional.
I would really really really love it if they went the route of them both teaming up to take his cousin down instead…
I agree. I think that would be the perfect way to handle him and subvert that tired trope. I want them to have the upper hand throughout, while he is thinking he's winning and has them cornered.
I put together a Character Description for the drama and posted it in the discussion/topic section. We already…
Well that at least suggests the King may have been after his brother b/c the brother was investigating the death of their older brother. That at least gives a plausible reason fro the hate in the past.
I get why he's after him in the present day. But in the past? He had a scar. He couldn't ever be King. Was he just doing it for the love of the game?
Now I need him to get the dog back. It's not right she lost him in two lifetimes. C'mon.
IF this drama is smart they use her to thwart his cousin's plans. She knows he's evil and up to no good, and wants to hurt him...so she's able to stop his shenanigans. He thinks he has a spy and instead he has an enemy working against him (She's Se Gye's shield).
it's a K-Drama tho so more than likely Se-Gye sees the two together, massive misunderstanding ensues, he says some mean things, they break up he does something stupid...it looks like Evil King is gonna win...maybe throw in some amnesia (lol)...blah. blah, blah.
reading the comments i see a lot of ppl mad abt abolishing monarchy like i understand we came here for the alternate…
It was a terrible ending. He could have used his time as a monarch to change the Royals can't do business. She could have transferred those skills to being the best Queen ever. This was a bait and switch. It was sold as one thing and became another. SMH.
I'll be honest. I haven't laughed this hard at a K-Drama since My Boyfriend is Cupid.
Like laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes.
I've been burned recently with K-Dramas (Perfect Crown I'm looking at you) - so after episode 4 I'll likely wait 'till it's done to decide if it's worth watching the rest. But so far I am REALLY enjoying it.

She's the biggest threat.
He just doesn't knwo that. lol
IF the drama leans into that...it will be a good one. If not..well...

I'm talking about production. Why would they skimp in nails?
This was supposed to be an easy breezy watch. Pretty people. Pretty fashion. A little intrigue. Simple. Sigh.
And then...
But still bad.
