I think people watched this thinking that it would be your typical idol drama where the leads are overpowered and always come out ahead and are not allowed to have any REAL flaws or shortcomings. This drama is not that. Then leads are fallible and human, and during this stretch of the drama it’s very bleak and feeling hopeless. I think a good part of the viewers are disillusioned because the villains are actually really good and the leads took a huge hit.

This is shaping up to be the best drama for me since The Prisoner of Beauty last year. As long as the quality maintains til the end.

I actually have a hard time getting into the minis 😅I am watching Melody of Golden Age to supplement this drama lol. I can’t get enough of the leads so I found another drama they both are in lol

I think the theme of this drama is that “splendor” is not all it’s cracked up to be, honestly. “Splendor” would be them moving back to Ganlin and living quiet lives.

I know 💀Hopefully they won’t cram a HE in the last two minutes of the drama. After all this stress I need at least half an episode dedicated to their happy life lol
