Is ML weak and naive? If yes then this drama may become little bit dull
Then don’t watch! It’s part of his character development! He’s the youngest of seven (?) brothers and was forced to take charge of his family due to unexpected tragedy, so if you’re looking for a ML who starts off the show as totally mature and jaded by the world then this one is not for you. You can check out Fated Hearts and The Prisoner of Beauty if you’re looking for a different flavor of ML.

It’s possible, because there is sort of a ML / FL role reversal in other aspects- like with the ML being the more emotional naive one and the FL being more hardened.

Because people are down rating the show just to be trolls. Some people went so far as to rate future episodes at a 1 that haven’t been released yet 🙄

I wasn’t a fan of the whole fake fainting either 🙄 That rubbed me the wrong way 💯. I get that she panicked, but come on. 😂 In a lot of ways the FL acted more like a child this episode than Yun did LOL

It's a bit unclear but I think the reason CY and her brother don't tell WY what they are investigating it's because…
The FL also told her maid that to investigate this was to go against the emperor. I think part of it was protecting him from being implicated.
