some people might not enjoy the ending because it is not satisfying or this is an open ending or the writer couldnt conclude their story but i dont think this show doesnt have an ending nor it is bad. they way i see it with usual kdrama, they show their ending in a form of certain event but here, they dont have that event. instead it is implied in each characters, how they learn to accept and/or change some part of themselves.

this show wanst a passion, issue/trouble nor villain oriented that need to be solved at the end. since the beginning this story has never been one with a fixed goal, its more about the process/journey that each characters went through, its a life story. i think this is most apparent with change hee's 'ending', how he meant to attend that art class/seminar (???) but instead went into a funeral director class instead. he find it quite amusing he decide staying in the end. he thinks thats where life is taking him, just like through all the story he always end up somewhere when it is the time.

i think a good story is one that left you in thought and wonder how each characters would go on their live based on how they story had gone. it doesnt mean the ending can be whatever you want. the ending is there, it just the story doesnt tell you explicitly. a story doesnt end when the credit screen roll, it end when people stopped thinking and talking about it.

usually, people don't like age gap ....but I think there is always more chemistry between couples with an age…
its more weird that the lead is just 3 years apart
honestly i cant even see it as age gap since im aware the actress is barely 20s xD

Is there any video compilation of chang hee's philosophical talks? Really would want to rewatch all the wisdom.
hahaha he did speak some wisdom among all the non-sense he spouted lmao

I feel like the drama has been a tad bit messy lately? idk like something about the transitions between the scenes…
they did shift the tone more frequently in recent episodes but i think they handle it well.
and the time line was indeed messy lol but i think they did it on purpose...... for better or worse

Chang Hee saying “I love you” to his dad using an awkward formal term in Korean was hilarious and endearing…
that probably the least embarrassing expression chang hee can think off ahahaha

So yeah, whilst I understand that this is a 'slice of life' drama, its just too 'gloomy/miserable/weird' that…
just like how some people enjoy their dose of sugary drink, other people might prefer their deep black bitter coffee

the story the pick up the pace this weeks. they handle the frequent drastic shift of tone really well, most other drama would have gone off track attempting that. also love the increased variety of camera work for couple last episodes to convey the tone and emotions.
i would give this drama 9/10 just for the breath of fresh air alone regardless how the story gonna turn for the next 2 eps but im probably gonna give it a 9.5 or 10 because the story progression, the delicate build up, the characters, the witty dialogues, the cinematography and also the acting are that good.
some people might say it is similar to my mister but the way i see it, it is just the writer style. you can notice, despite the similar style the story is not the same, for example characters motivation and how the cope with their situation is totally different.
