he wasnt just trying to kill her, he got a bone to pick with mujin and the whole gang that threw him away. nothing sneakier than to turn jiwoo and mujin against each other, i think it fit his character.
there are dozen other student-teacher plot that far less weirder, the kuzu from kuzu no honkai literally mean scum, it make other age gap story looks tame

tbh it wasnt that boring in a movie format, but with kdrama format, 16eps@1hr, thats a whole different ballgame. might have to see the actual eps first

ok, i finally read the novel.
bala's story and relationship was better explained in the novel while despite the shorter length i find the later part was better in the movie, it felt more meaningful. i gotta say both the movie and novel have their own pros and cons. there are some parts that the novel elaborate better and other parts that the movie summarized better.
