This is an excellent drama! Who rated this drama low? Are you people serious?? Are we watching the same drama?…
Maybe they expected a fluffy romance lol. This drama is amazing, tragic, sad , sweet with bitter but also beautiful moments. A lot of character development. The acting and chemistry are amazing. All leading actors do a great job . Fei had to portray An Ran , a woman that repeatedly losses all her beloved family members due to political games. Fei is a strong woman, depressed but always finds a way to continue the fight to save her family from the massacre. The only light in her dark life is her relationship with Mu Chan (which is also bitter).
This "return from death repeatedly " pattern to save your loved ones is unique in Chinese/ korean dramas

An Ran's and Mu Chan's relationship is from the sweetest , most deep & meaningful relationships I've seen. He'll be there for her on every hardship . They share the same moral. Both are upright people in a corrupted world. Their relationship doesn't depend only on looks. They have the same beliefs and ideas. Those kind of relationships are ones that last in time

Ep 3 and she returned to checkpoint πŸ˜†
I'm really enjoying this drama. Ep 1 was lighthearted but ep 2 and especially ep3 were both sad and depressing. Showing how easy it is to have your entire family get killed by wrong choices in critical situations. This drama is pure tragedy. No jokes. Our female lead experienced the death of every beloved family member she had ( due to falling in love with the cruel-hearted emperor and get fooled by his fake feelings).
I'm glad she has a 2nd chance to fix everything.

The 2 main leads (she and the other prince) have great chemistry together. Whenever they smile at each other I get the feeling that they're a "real couple" , despite being just actors. I'm glad I found this drama. Really good historical to pass some free time as long as you wait for upcoming huge Xianxia dramas.

It's literally like "Jun Jiu Ling" .
Were male lead helps female lead take revenge from those who harmed her .
I read summaries on the internet, written in appropriate English and that's how I figured out the similarity of the plots. This summary above is translated poorly.

Also the fact that she died and came back to life is also the same with Jun Jiu Ling. And the male lead notices the similarities in her character and discovers that she's being resurrected

Title Immortal Samsara: Part 1 Spoiler
I laughed at the absurdity of her statement...she's acting like she had nothing to do with her sister's death
Yeah ! And I also laughed a few eps ago when Yan Dan apologised to Zhi Xi (in the prison scene) . WTF Yan Dan , you were an excellent sister, don't let her trick you into felling guilty !
At least at the end of their bitter conversation, Yan Dan resent her. That was satisfying

Title Song of the Moon Spoiler
The director's latest works traumatized me but bloody romance screenwriter and that trailer with the teardrop???…
Yeah I was left traumatised too . We all know how horrible the ending was in "Legend of Yun Xi" (but later on they released also a 2nd ending which was happy, to satisfy the viewers).
Also at "Blooms at Ruyi's pavilion " I loved the 2nd couple. They had a very interesting love story but the male lead was left paralyzed at the end and on a wheelchair. Damn πŸ˜₯

The "future Dragon king " was an a$$hole towards Su Mo. I'm glad his sister liked Su Mo. He definitely needs his own separated lovestory because the Yandan ship is going to sink

I felt the pain when the immortal gods were in the coffin after being slained in the war. 😭😭😭
Yeah sure. I like Immortal Samsara and the brutal /realistic way this drama depicts death and grief. Other Xianxias like Love and Destiny , Love and redemption, TMOPB , Eternal love of dream , Ancient love poetry all of them contained huge massacres but none of them focused too much on the PTSD that the soldiers got from the war or the pain of the orphans. Immortal Samsara is a very unique and different drama. It's psychological in a way. Those who died were almost "lucky " in comparison with those whom left alive with PTSD syndrome

Yeah and also the other scene with the white haired general begging his friends to kill him because he can no longer take the pain.
Also the fact that Yumo lost not only his parents but also his mentor and Yandan doesn't love him , so he's always depressed and left behind.
Every character died in ep7-8. There's literally no one left lol. All the cast got killed in an instant and the few that left behind are constantly in pain

It's the most tragic Xianxia of all.
It even surpasses "Journey of flower" in terms of depression. πŸ‘€
Every character main/side suffers and people keep dying non stop.

It's a great production and it deserves all the pain I've been through as a viewer

I wasn't mentally prepared for this massacre on eps 7 and 8. πŸ‘€
The biggest , most emotional and tragic massacre in Xianxias' history 😐
Well done production team....you got me. Great drama. Full of sweet but also sad moments.

Actually she "committed suicide " (in a way that's what she did ....)
simply because Wolfie was gravely sick . He would die soon and she would be left alone. That's why she went to take her silly revenge. She didn't care much if she would die because he would soon be dead as well from severe sickness. She died in his arms and later on he'll be dead as well πŸ˜“

Yeah.
They were deeply in love and despite the many misunderstandings between them, they managed to forgive one another. In the last episodes they were together and so in-love with each other but she died and he left alone. WTF πŸ˜“
