Can anyone suggest me other Japanese BL happy pills like this one? I already watched Cherry magic, Kieta Hatsukoi, and Ossan's Love. I just know the post-series depression will kick in for me once this series is over TT . TT
The translation of the drama is not accurate , I found out after watching 2 different subtitles , in episode 4…
The translation "Maybe I cleaned the floor too much" is the right one (if we're talking about the line where Shinomiya lies on the floor after Fukuhara runs away lmao)
Waiting for episode 5 is just plain suffering. It's been a long week and I just want it to be Friday already so we can have a new episode to watch lmao.
To the ones saying the main guy is a homophobe and there wouldn't be any drama if it were a mf romance, you obviously…
And the fact that it's been *repeatedly* mentioned that Fukuhara has never kissed anyone before and strongly implied it's his first romantic relationship, too. I honestly don't understand how it correlates to homophobia but here we are lol.
I don't think Fukuhara is "gay panicking" around Shinomiya because he's "homophobic". More so because his initial…
I see. I highly suggest watching the preview for episode 5 as this would answer your queries regarding Fukuhara questioning his true intentions. I guess I'd be upset too if I didn't see the preview, as their relationship seems to be at s standstill atm. I think it's a cultural thing. As an East Asian, it's not necessarily a bad thing to be fidgety regarding the concept of same-sex relationships. As it's not widely accepted like in the western. Also, as previously mentioned this is his first experience in romance so he's understandably confused as parents (especially East Asian parents), don't go out of their way explaining this stuff, especially gay relationships. That said, I think the outcome would be the same whether Shinomiya was a boy or girl. As previously mentioned, Fukuhara has no intentions of being in a relationship and simply wants a fraction of Shinomiya's luck. Although he may not be THIS fidgety if Shinomiya was a girl, but his main intention was always to take advantage of him. So seeing this be addressed in episode 5 would be pretty exciting.

I think that's the point. Fukuhara is a terrible person, and he knows it. It's been established from the get-go that Fukuhara is sly and manipulative, and uses a front so other people won't figure out his bad luck situation. He knows he's being a hypocrite while using him while still being unsure of his relationship with him. That's what they will address in episode 5. If you've seen the preview, he gets into a fight with someone for overhearing their conversation about taking advantage of Shinomiya's luck. That's when he realizes he's basically doing the same thing, so breaks it off with him. I don't think being a man or a woman has anything to do with it at all?
Shinomiya laughing was so cute. But I'm starting to find Fukuhara tiresome - his gay panic is carried away and…
I don't think Fukuhara is "gay panicking" around Shinomiya because he's "homophobic". More so because his initial plan was to take advantage of Shinomiya's luck and now he's beginning to have real feelings for him. He's stated multiple times since the first episode how charming and good-looking Shinomiya is, even as to go far as to say to himself "No! Don't get interested or you'll just end up being tied in a complicated love affair". His main concern from the get-go was because he wanted to take advantage of Shinomiya and not to fall for him. But as we all have noticed, he's failing miserably. You may say episode 3 was kinda off-character for him looking up "male kissing I don't mind it", but you also have to be reminded episode 1 was his first kiss. Hence, it's strongly implied he has no experience with romantic relationships whatsoever and could be experimenting himself. Either way, episode 5's shaping up to be good as it'll tackle more on this soon. So I am pretty excited to be honest lol.
Now that we know Kota's luck also affects Naoya's I wonder if the negative luck it going to end up causing problems…
That's kinda an interesting plotline to explore tbh. I haven't read the manga yet, but it's kinda a great way for them to develop their characters. Shinomiya realizing he can no longer have everything he wants as a consequence of being with Fukuhara. On the other hand, Fukuhara learning to open up for once thanks to Shinomiya instead of solely being with him because of the good luck he brings. This could be interesting.
I admit this show has been my weekly serotonin booster for the past three weeks. Everything about it is super cute. Its plot isn't super complex but you just can't help but root for the two leads. Super excited for next week's episode~ ♥
Okay but who said that lol. I went through alot of comments (though there could be more) and it seemed generally…
There are actually a lot in the comments and replies below. Some of them have been deleted but the others are still up. Hence, why some of the recent comments are addressing this. I mean they're free not to like a show so it's good. But hating a show for the wrong reasons is pure clownery lol.
I mean I can understand valid criticism, but people hating on this show for "lack of angst" is really a clown…
Pretty much. Like why hate on a show that's intended to be light and fluffy because you're expecting angst? These "BL connoisseurs" are so annoying lol.
Like yeah as a gay person I just need another show that doesn't really have any angst and that shit like I'm tired…
Agreed. Like can I just watch a BL drama for the fluff without the main lead getting ran over or killed in one way or another? We just wanna see the gays happy ffs.
Episode 5's looking to be interesting, too.
Another week of waiting~ (TT . TT)
Some weirdos: "wHy iS tHiS sHoW sO fLufFy? i nEed mY aNgsT!!!"
Seriously if ya'll are expecting angst and watched this, go watch something else. Ya'll will be doing us all a favor lmao.
