I hate waiting every week lol but it's been totally worth
True. Waiting for an episode per week is both infuriating yet exciting at the same time. Waiting's always a pain but at least there's something to look forward to every week lol.
I'm really enjoying the drama so far, but I'd appreciate it if they'd cut back from all these flashbacks a little bit. It kinda feels like it's the same flashbacks every episode lol. Although I am excited for episode 6~
I agree a bit on the repetitiveness of the episode (but this is in line with most mangas turned to live-action)…
As a person who also figured out I was Ace in my 20's, welcome to the club. At 25, I still haven't grasped the concept of romance and attraction, let alone apply it irl. Which should sound ironic because I'm out here watching a Japanese BL lol. Anyway, just know you're not alone with the struggle.

Yeah. I've seen and met a number of Ace people here and they're generally very nice. I'm sure OP meant well, but somehow my reply seemed "unnecessarily hostile" and "insulting" for some reason. Although I gotta admire their determination, commenting despite the polarizing consensus. Anyway, it was nice meeting you! Especially really glad how I wasn't alone in this. Since as mentioned, Fukuhara's situation is a pretty common occurrence for us (not counting the taking advantage of Shinomiya part of course lol). And even though he's a fictional character, that doesn't mean his struggles isn't real or is being experienced by some people.

OMG I love those characters, too! Yes, I guess in a way, I kinda feel like I'm being represented in some sort of media. And someone downright saying how weird and unrealistic it is, kinda puts me off, felt like I was being discredited of some sort. I'm not blaming OP by any means, I'm sure the OP had a different experience and why they view things they way they do. It's just difficult trying to explain your side and then being labeled as "hostile" for defending someone just because they find it absurd or unrealistic. Anyway, I'm just glad I found someone with a similar perspective. Wishing you the best in life!

I'm glad I'm seeing another Ace's point of view. Although the criticism about the repetitiveness of the drama is valid (I personally think so too, especially with the amount of flashbacks present), saying Fukuhara's behavior is unrealistic puts a bad taste in my mouth. Not saying Fukuhara is an Ace by any means, but one should also understand where he's coming from. He's allowed to be confused about his feelings just as everyone else is. Everyone experiences romance and attraction (or lack thereof) differently.
Darn. I was loving this series, but two unenjoyable episodes in a row have made me give up. This is going to be…
Fukuhara has his own experiences just the same as you have yours. Just because you did things a certain way doesn't mean everyone else are capable of doing the same. I'm 25, male, and still have zero understanding of how romance works. So it's not really farfetched to believe Fukuhara is experiencing the same. Not everyone is as lucky as you to have all their feelings figured out.
Episode 5 was depressing af :( But at least Fukuhara got everything off his chest. He's finally gonna stop freaking out around Shinomiya and show his real side to him. It's just sad that he's just realized that he has romantic feelings for Shinomiya now. Hopefully it isn't too late for them to get back together :((
You were literally the one who replied to MY post but okay? lol.
