Same, I'm doubtful but still hopeful for that season 2 you know. And yeah, these 3 are like my holy trinity for Japanese BL's. I don't know why but they just bring joy while watching them. Probably why I could rewatch these three shows over and over again and not be tired of 'em.

Agreed. It has its share of its problems but I'd still rewatch it over and over again just because it brings me pure serotonin. The manga recently released a second volume but we can only be hopeful we could get a live adaptation season 2.

Finale is tomorrow. I'm both excited and sad as I really don't want this series to end. Sure, it has its share of problems but it still made my days a lot better for the past eight weeks. (TT . TT)

Honestly I just need 2 things to happen in the next episode. And based on the preview, maybe we'll get point 1.

1. Have Fukuhara clear up that he's staying with Shinomiya because he likes him for him, not because he likes him for his luck.

2. Have Fukuhara initiate intimacy at least once to prove point 1.

Although I do hope they conclude the series nicely. I love this series and it'll kinda suck if they mess up the last episode.

I mean, why wouldn't he? In Japan, it's pretty common for people to act "prim and proper" around other people as a sign of respect. The fact that Fukuhara has this "cute" front when it comes to the public eye and then goes a complete 180 when no one is looking got Shinomiya interested. It was actually a kinda nice addition since realistically speaking, if I were Shinomiya and I didn't know about this beforehand about Fukuhara, I'd be pissed at him for sure lol.

I think this is more of a translation issue as Kota worded out 付き合って欲しいな which was misinterpreted by Naoya as Kota wanting them to date. It's kinda like a parody of the typical anime girl confessing in a high school setting as Kota did have a "cute" facade at the start of the series.

Regarding the "overacting", I do think it's just jdramas in general that utilize this. It doesn't bother me that much in lighthearted Jdramas, but I guess it's understandable if you're not used to it.

But yeah, I'm looking forward the last two episodes lol.

Yeah same opinion. I'm kinda torn if it was purely accidental or they also had that intention in mind. So I'm gonna do the logical choice here which is to be delusional haha.

It's possible that it's just a glitch. It happens to other dramas as well, it'll probably stabilize soon enough.

I think it's kinda a good match lol. Fukuhara's bad luck led to him coming across the person he's avoiding the most aka Shinomiya. And Shinomiya's good luck led him to accidentally find Fukuhara. Ironically, both their good and bad luck helped them find each other again lmao.

THIS. I 100% agree with this. I also said the same thing about the pacing, and they can easily shorten this drama with removing all the unnecessary scenes and flashbacks. I can say episode 6 got me hooked again as the last 2 eps was kinda weird with the pacing. Overall, I'm super excited for the last 2 episodes although also a bit sad because it's ending. :(

Them saying each other's first name was really nice, as symbolizing that they truly are close to each other now (TT . TT)
