Discovered this series 1 day ago and watched all 7 episodes in 1 go! What an amazing series. This might be one…
This. I'm glad a lot of people are acknowledging Fujisaki and Rokkaku as solid supporting characters because they're so likable and relatable. I mean I do love the leads but I love hos everyone is given some proper spotlight and development in this drama.
I hate the title image, it gives me such strong teacher-student fanfiction vibesI had to get it off my chest
I'm cackling at how accurate this is lmao. Not gonna lie, it did put me off the first time but after watching the drama, I now find that poster adorable lol.
From the photos of the next week I guess there will not be a lot of scene of them together and more of the second…
As much as I agree with you, I think the secondary couple balances out the atmosphere from Kurosawa and Adachi's moments (especially from the heavy last episode). Their existence kinda lightens the mood of the drama so not properly developing them would do their cp and the series dirty. But yes, I'm hoping the last remaining episodes would solely be for KuroDachi lol.
I'm already impatient and Friday (ep with subs) seems so far away lol
You can actually watch it on wetv with english subs if you're from the Philippines or Thailand (like myself). Or you can just wait for Irozuku, which usually uploads the subs 24+ hours later.
As (arguably) the number one Cherry Magic promoter on twitter, I find this so relatable lmao.
Same. Because in a way you do end up risking your reputation by recommending a series you personally find good. Hence why I'm also picky in recommending. But Cherry Magic is just too good not to share. This precious and wholesome drama needs to be appreciated by a lot of people and I'm gonna help in making that happen in whatever way I can.
Welcome to the "Going feral while waiting for Cherry Magic episodes" club. First time? lol.
Also been here since episode 1. The amount of time I invested screaming and just being a trash human being in general over this series is embarrassing lol.
Does anyone knows where I can watch this series? Thanks!
It's airing on WeTV with English subs if you're from Thiland or the Philippines. If you're outside these countries, Irozukusubs also has it english subbed.
Feral to the point that i mistakenly called my colleague Kurosawa twice today and he gave me "Kurosawa who? What…
I ended up calling a coworker both Kurosawa AND Adachi by mistake. He also got annoyed because I kept unconsciously singing the Cherry Magic OST. So yes, I think I have an idea of the misjudgment you experienced lol. Let's just laugh about it with our shared 1/2 braincell ;)
Hmmm, interesting points. For the first point, I think the rest pretty much explained it. In episode 7, Adachi…
I think for the most part though, it is pretty consistent. The only scene we've seen so far where this phenomena is unexplained it the carry scene. For the most part, the mind reading's been prominent.
I think Fujisaki's a pretty good representative of ace (and arom) characters to be honest. I personally relate with her. Someone who's often an object of peers' and parents' curiosity despite just wanting to live life like everyone else. I think it's too early for us to give these conclusion and statements knowing we're only halfway the series. They may or may not end up explaining these things, so let's just wait to find out.
PS, it is possible to have a healthy discourse without one resulting to ad hominem, just look at our discourse. Let's just not take too things too seriously. I mean ffs this series is about a guy who can read people's minds lol. People should breathe lmao.
OK, there is one thing that's bothering me. They've pretty much dropped Adachi's powers - he didn't even hear…
Hmmm, interesting points. For the first point, I think the rest pretty much explained it. In episode 7, Adachi couldn't read Kurosawa's thoughts because Kurosawa's feelings for him were beyond words. But I think he did use his powers for the majority of the series. Maybe the only exception was in episode 5 when Kurosawa carried him.
In your second case, I think it's the creative team's choice to change his character, making it slightly different in the manga where his character fantasizes about Adachi in a couple of "interesting" ways lol. I don't know if it's a censorship thing or if they just wanted Kurosawa to be this "gentleman aka knight in shining armor" who's righteous both in actions and thoughts. I do see a couple of people wishing Kurosawa kept those sexual fantasies but I think I'm with the majority here who prefer this characterization of Kurosawa than in the manga.
And about the "When you're attracted to someone, you have thoughts you can't control" I somehow agree with this but I don't think this necessarily correlates to sexual thoughts. As an asexual person myself, I am also able to be attached to people without thinking of "indecent thoughts". Anyway, just my two cents. Hopefully we all keep this debate civil because this drama is too wholesome to have people fight for no reason.
