Actually I personally don't think maya had any negative influence on taichi and kohei's relationship. As we can…
Exact same sentiments. Maya had zero effect on Kohei's feelings for Taichi because he has stated multiple times how his love for Taichi never deterred. It's more so of a miscommunication issue on their part. Taichi has been slightly dodgy when it comes to Kohei as to not offend his feelings whereas Kohei is doing the same thing as to not make Taichi feel awkward with his feelings for him. I think this would be taken care of once they get all their things off their chest and actually talk it out. 🙃
Maya wreaked their relationship from an 8 to a 0 real fast. I'm not sure about everyone else, but this has been…
Although I do think Maya is annoying, I don't understand how she "wreaked" their relationship? Despite all the foul words Maya has for Taichi, Kohei has never agreed with her and even considered these "bad traits" as something he likes about Taichi. And if that wasn't enough, him praising nothing but sweet nothings for Taichi when Maya questioned why he likes him, I don't know what is. Kohei made it very clear he loves Taichi, no matter what anyone says.
Latest episode was bittersweet. I'm glad we were able to hear Kohei's raw and honest feelings for Taichi and I hope Maya could see how sweet Taichi is as a person in the next episode. I honestly don't want this series to end yet as I've really been enjoying it so far. 😢
LOL The singer for the closing/credit scene OST released a new "Lyrics MV" featuring both Kohei and Taichi. Better…
Same thoughts. I don't condone the hate he got, but making a music video for a BL ost and casting one of the leads of said BL for the mv and making it hetero, was a....very questionable choice. 🤡
I don't understand the slander in the comments section against Taichi's actor, Tora. In my opinion he's doing a phenomenal job portraying Taichi. His character is so easy to dismiss as someone who's one-dimensional but Tora's portrayal adds so much depth to his character.
I see so many comments saying that Taichi is "annoying and really over the top like an anime character" when that's not what I'm seeing at all? Taichi is pure, all he has is good intentions for the people around him. However, he is also flawed and lacking in certain aspects, and he knows it. He has a happy-go-lucky façade because he wants to hide insecurities about himself, which has been evident especially in the past three episodes.
I mean to each their own, but I think he's doing a great job so far.
What did Taichi want to tell in the SIGN company? I couldn't understand. Can anyone please explain what was his…
The company's target demographic are those who are completely unable to hear. Hence, why they decided to cater more on sign language. But as a viewer, we know Taichi also started to understand the struggles of those who are hard of hearing. For instance, Kohei didn't immediately take up sign language because he was still unable to accept his circumstances back then. They are already alienated from society as it is. Taichi didn't want them to be further alienated from those who are also suffering from hearing loss. That's why Taichi suggested other methods like what he's been doing to Kohei such as note-taking. However, the company thinks that they can't really cater to everyone without sacrificing other aspects of their company. That's why Taichi was emotional on wanting to do something for the ones who are hard of hearing, while also thinking of Kohei. This is probably why the CEO was interested in hiring him.
She's definitely not the usual "third party who also likes the MC" trope in most BL's. Her character is supposed…
My exact sentiments. Kohei was lucky because he had Taichi to help him improve his mindset in life. Taichi was like Kohei's sunshine when he was at his lowest. But that doesn't mean everyone has the same support system or determination Kohei has.
People struggle differently. They cope differently. I'm not justifying Maya's rudeness towards Taichi but it's also unfair to downplay her struggles just because "Kohei can so why can't she".

Humans are flawed.
I didn't say her methods or way of thinking was right. But it is a human reaction, and a lot of people cope that way. Does it excuse her rude behavior towards Taichi? Absolutely not. But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen in real life. People aren't mean for no reason. Their experiences made them like that. Good for Kohei for having the right attitude and mindset despite his predicament, but not all people are capable of being like that.
It's so sweet that for every complaint Maya makes about Taichi, Kohei thinks of it fondly instead🥰🤍
This was pretty cute really. Everytime Maya finds an odd trait of Taichi to nitpick, Kohei has a specific fond memory of that specific trait of him in his mind.
I totally get why people are annoyed by maya. But i kinda feels like she is not that same old female character…
She's definitely not the usual "third party who also likes the MC" trope in most BL's. Her character is supposed to be another POV for the people who are hearing impaired. Her and Kohei's situations are almost identical but they adapt to it in the exact opposite way. This also kinda emphasizes Taichi's effect on Kohei (which was strongly implied in this episode).
Is Maya annoying? Yes lol. But I guess a number of people could relate to her, including myself. Honestly, if I suddenly become deaf, I'd probably be as hateful as her haha.
Something bad happens in the Manga? I heard that theh won't end up together till wayyyy longer so i'm not sure…
Not necessarily "bad", more so them struggling to convey their feeling properly. As to when they get together, it'll be almost at the end of volume 2, which at the series' pace, is about episode 12 aka the finale. So we'd probably only see a peak of their post-couple life sadly.
I'm lowkey scared of the next episodes to come. Hopefully, they sprinkle in some soft scenes between Kohei and Taichi to reduce the angst because I don't think my heart can take it. 🥺
You won't be seeing me often commenting on JBL series, even though I enjoy a lot of them and hats off, this is…
The movie covered the first volume of the manga, which is episode 1 to 6 of the drama series. The second half of the series, from what I heard, covers the second volume of the manga. And yes, Maya is also part of the manga.
I was getting a bit annoyed at Kouhei for letting Maya lead him around like that. But then he made up for it all…
Honestly me too but he more than made it up for it by personally going to Taichi's house, giving him food that he personally cooked himself, and also opening up the topic Taichi's been hesitating for weeks.

I'm both scared and excited of what's to come.
Not sure about the next episodes though. 😔
Kohei, you're forgiven....for now 👀
