We are creatures of extremes. We like things we watch to be black and white. :) Before I go on, please do note that I DO NOT fully AGREE with how things were presented at the hotel. It was a bit ambiguous. No mean no and if you can't say yes it's still a definite no. So please don't come at me with lectures on rape. I do want to point out that fortunately it was not a violent scene. Unlike the one that will follow with Muren. I don't think I'm spoiling anything with that one. I would definitely not compare the two scenarios. I felt like Xing Si had a moment of honesty that he wouldn't have had if sober. Too sad the writer fell short of expressing that properly. Maybe it should have stopped at him admitting he is also in love with Young Jie ...but yeah...
That being said...I find it interesting that they approached a pretty unconventional love story of two guys that grew up under one roof. (not that it hasn't been done before in Thai series I think) It's out of the norm...debatable...is it right for them to love each other...is it wrong...creates conversation. And that is a good thing.
I do believe their love is mutual and I feel sad for them because they will have to go against social stigma, starting with their own family. It's heartbreaking to see them scared of their own love...well, Young Jie is not really...and for that I will give him credit (and i wish so so much the writer didn't turn him into whatever she turned him into with that hotel scene).
So yeah, their story needs to be told. It's one of those "it's complicated". Right? :)
I will take the advantage of the controversial hotel scene to make another side note. Watching a violent scene, be it rape or physical abuse of any kind towards someone in a movie or drama should never make us comfortable. I am saying this because many comment express they felt uncomfortable. It's not supposed to be. There are plenty of these scenes in many productions and they have usually their purpose. Those scene contribute to the story told. Often they are the catalyst in a character's development. We can't expect to never see them. Some of these cruel stories have to be heard, often for awareness sake. It is those kinda stories that wake us up to many realities around us. So please keep that in mind as you continue watching series and movies. Sometimes those scenes are necessary. No, it was not necessary in this particular series. I hope the fans of these characters manage to get over it and continue watching how they all grow and find their place.

I'm not watching this any more.... This is bad. Dropped!
From your short comment I don't understand if you dropping it because of Ji Soo or because you simply don't like the drama itself. If you dropped it because the drama is not your cuppa tea ignore the rest of my comment. :) If you think you are punishing Ji Soo by not watching, you are not. You make everyone that was not aware of who Ji Soo was and worked very hard on this to have done so in vain. :) That being said, you should do whatever you feel like. This is just an observation.

Road to recovery. I wish him luck. It's nice to see the comments are encouraging. To the youngsters here, a word from the older generation, growing up is a rite of passage and mistakes are part of it, and there is no age limit to when you stop making mistakes, and hopefully whatever mistakes you make will make you a better person. We like to say people don't change, but we do, we better, or it means we are not learning anything and that would be tragic. :) 4 years ago I could not imagine myself commenting or reviewing things in a space like MDL. But here I am. Something somewhere changed and now I love things that i didn't before. Let's be open minded. Right?

Title Sweet Home
I just finished ep 5 and I think it's just fantastic. The not so subtle hints at today's society were just spot on and maybe even too close to home considering what is going on globally. Or maybe I'm just reading into it. I don't know. But I love it so far.

Title The Wolf
I mean the story is ridiculous.i don’t understand why its 8.1 for me 5 only.
Can't comment on the story..but i can tell you two reasons they'd give it a 10 regardless of how good it is or not.. ;)) (Darren Wang exhibit no. 1 and Sean Xiao exhibit no. 2..or the other way around..however you prefer..lol) I'm guilty of it myself. I did it a few times. Gave it a 10 just cause I liked the cast. We're human..lol.

Decided to start with the beginning and not just straight for the Ultimate Note. What I noticed is that every series it's other actors playing it. So my question is, will I hate that or will I be okay with it? :)

Well I add the titles in the list as soon I've watched something with this theme because I write on the title's…
That is sweet. Please..in case my comment sounded off..it wasn't meant to criticize the list..but the lack of lgbtq+ content in Korean. :) The list itself is great. I'm gonna definitely go thru it and see what i can find that i didn't see yet. TY!
