A rumor can ruin lives

I watched this movie because there are millions of such real-life cases that have ruined the lives of people. they either live with the guilt or commit suicide leaving behind their sufferings.
I myself had been a victim of rumor, it wasn't a big deal but still, as I had a cheerful personality and tend to forgive and forget things. but that rumor had a bad stamp on my teen life when I heard about it and how people misunderstood and badmouthed me behind my back. so I always believe and stay strong towards the girls/women. even if they might be wrong and rumors are true, I do not forward them. I stop the rumor myself and ask my friends to also not to believe them.

coming back to a movie where the teen girl is rumored to be in a sex clip. the word travels from mouth to mouth as a rumor and some boys also rape her based on the rumor.
my feelings are 1> the teacher was wrong for approaching a minor for love/sex. It's a punishable offense so he is guilty.
(2) sexual relationships should not be recorded. It's a personal secret box, and if found by others might ruin their lives.
(3)even if she is the girl in the clip, no other guy has the right to touch her body without consent. whatever she did with her boyfriend is her personal choice. touching a girl in any manner against her will is a punishable offense.
(4) spreading false rumors without any proof causing a damaging to reputation, honor or dignity before a third party. It can be oral or written and is considered defamation.
the movie had a conflicting sensitive concept as the storyline was powered by top-notch acting. the actors are new to me but they are excellent.
(5) family should support and believe their kids. also even if they are wrong, punish them but also support them and save them from such a bitchyy and selfish world.
lastly, watch the movie till the end,, you will see the sex clip-making. the makers did a fantastic job of not making the actors uncomfortable. they had taken complete care of her.

the melodius voice of PCY is everything you need

growing up watching bollywood movies, loaded with dozens of songs, lifts up the mood. when the story is happy feels like dancing to the upbeat songs and when the story is sad sometimes cry with the actors.
also, I think this movie is kind of inspired by singer MARSHMELLOW, who's haven't shown his real face and wears his trademark BOX on his head to cover his face. which has become his unique identity.
a guy aspiring to be a singer but having stage fright is not new, I have seen this so concept before but PCY voice had a hallucinating charm to pull the audience. Ji Hoon grows up and overcomes his stage fright with alcohol was somewhat unbelievable but yeah alcohol sometimes kicks in and gives a whole ocean of courage to do something one hasn't done, so it's taken.
Acting wise PCY didn't impress me where he could have shown the depth of fear struggling from his inner fears mentally which as developed into stage phobia. I had seen him showing diverse expressions but in the movie, he didn't work for me. but then the music part is a genius. when he picks up the guitar and opens his lips is like the God of music is singing himself.
You pick any song in the movie the visuals, music, and lyrics fit perfectly. and am actually a fan of Chanyeol singing more than acting so that part worked for me well.
Bad Guy (Billie Eilish) Cover really overpowers the movie's musical journey and hooks up the audience to what the next piece would be.
Break The Box is healing and motivating song for me now. for its lyrics just reminds me to do better than before nd overcome my fears.
A Sky Full of Stars (Coldplay) cover felt better than the original. this one has gone to my favorite list without a doubt.
Rewatch TBH is a NO for me since I didn't like the movie. But I enjoyed the music immensely so am just going to watch the songs over and over again.

lightweight, humor with touch of retro action

A wine bottle from 1988, I know the taste is good. I wouldn't mind sipping it again someday. It's a light humor action movie that gives the audience an escape to feel the retro fast and furious in 80’s style.

The story had nothing special to offer, few youngsters who dream to live big get entangled between prosecutors and villains, trying to save themselves from both. Riding on modified fast cars, and wearing 80’s fashion on the Olympic opening day is the chosen for the movie climax D-day, and that's the reason for the movie title as SEOUL VIBE.
It isn't super complicated but within the first half one can probably guess what's gonna happen next. Although the story is not fresh its stellar cast which performed outstandingly without a doubt wouldn't let anyone down for watching the movie. They kept me entertained from beginning to end with pro acting and semi-humor.

The Chicago Typewriter duo reunion of Yoo Ah In and Go Kyung Pyo in one frame reminds me of TCT as if am rewatching the drama again. The fake gold chain is super funny on both of them. They are both amazing and YAI never disappoints its viewers, he always had the depth of the character he portrays. He is leading the team and drove like he is fast and furious.
GKP gave its usual pleasant and easygoing performance.
Ong Seung Wu had a messy curly hairstyle portraying the youngest of the team. His small and thin build added the necessity of the youngest and loving member. I loved seeing him because he lit up the screen with humor.
Park Ju Hyun, rode the bike like a pro. She had a good wardrobe of the ’80s and I loved her to see in that crop tops which enhanced her long hairstyle.

The 1988 Olympics of Seoul is just a time taken to intensify the fashion, funk, racing cars, and color palette of the movie which serves its purpose. Because it picks up the viewers and takes them on the nostalgic, retro ride of the 80s.

If anyone wants a deep story, with lots of action this isn't the one for you. Because its story is weak and has mild action. But yes it has amazing car chasing sequences, which are thrilling to watch.

Annara Sumanara is my magical words healing words now

●HOW I CAME TO IT
This is my first Ji Chang Wook Drama, after a thorough recommendation from MDL’s I picked TSOM.

●FIRST IMPRESSION
I have never been to a musical but I have been to a circus show just once in my lifetime and this drama brings back the memories of my trip to of circus, there were so many acrobats, jugglers, rope walkers, clowns and a magician, filled with musicians and dancers.
The magic show at the end of the circus made me forget everything else, I know those were all tricks but it was fantastic for my childhood memory.

●PLOT VIEW
The Sound of Magic tells a tale about a mysterious magician Ri Eul, who meets two teens, stressed up from the adult pressure of society. He shows them some magic and that's the best part because we cannot differentiate between what is real magic and fake magic. If just happens to be one’s faith and belief, if you believe there is god and it is everywhere if you don’t believe in its existence it isn't anywhere. Ri Eul shows magic shows which heals the soul and takes away the pain at that moment.

●ACTING/CAST
Big applause for the casting directors. They picked an ensemble cast, not just with facial beauty but talent in singing and acting too. Ri Eul played by Ji Chang Wook is pure bliss. He takes up the job to make us feel that magic is real, he is just perfect in that magician robe and hat. His past added that extra glimpse of that pain behind the smile.
Hwang In Yeop as Na Il Deung was also a perfect choice because we have seen him in arrogant, bully roles. It's kind of refreshing to see him as a nerdy student. He flows in his character like he has been doing this for ages. Il Deung means number 1 in Korean and here as a top student, he works hard that he develops illness too.
Choi Eun Sung as Yoon Ah Yi, the name means child in Korean, also represents that a child is more attracted to magic and fairies. She is perfect, a quick wit, weak and enthusiastic. She literally made my heart feel at ease when she performed magic.

●MUSIC
About the music, all the musicals are upbeat, uplifting, and ensembled with beautiful lyrics. My playlist is updated and I got all the musicals to the video list. The musicals are a huge plus point of the drama

●REWATCH
I already watched it twice because it's short and just 6episodes so didn’t really keep engaged. It gives an accomplishment and a happy feel.

●APPRECIATION
This is my first musical drama and highly grateful for it. Its cinematography, and esthetic are just magical.

●FAV SCENE
Ri Eul and Ah Yi giant wheel magic.
Na Il Deung singing with a guitar in the fields.

●RECOMMENDATION
It is such a good drama, short sweet, and motivational. If anyone is going through any slump, they will get a magic healing session.

not recommending

This is such a waste of time. It had an average story completed with average acting. There isn't any impressive twists or turn, and all of the stories are provided in the synopsis. A university guy for survival works part-time at a surfing store and gets a place to stay. There is an unnecessary fight because he gets charmed by a girl and has a surfing competition. With no previous experience, he practices a lot and participates with all tricks and tips earned from his senior, which are not so great.

we can blame the scriptwriters because the actors did what they had to do. But the acting doesn't suffice the storyline and keeps on dropping the interest of viewers. nobody shows any kind of emotions, they just said their lines in front of the camera.
also, it's shot at a beach but the beauty of surfing and the sea beach isn't shown, I was highly disappointed in that matter. I love aesthetic beauty

Except for the surfing lessons, I can't remember anything about the movie.
Not recommending anyone to watch this.

bow for best drama of 2022

I never watch an airing drama cause I don’t have the patience, but for the first time, I went out of my way to watch EAW because of the unending spoilers everywhere.

The series is an amazing take on autism and the extinction of whales. Autism is a condition, not a disease, and I loved to few people who always considered her extraordinary. They cared for her and did friendly stuff than treat her as an outcast. The whale concept held very deep meaning and raised awareness about its extinction.

The series had an episodic case so it didn’t feel stretched. They made short, simple, meaningful, and convincing cases for the drama. The cases also focused on the main character's insecurities, vulnerability, and growth. After each episode, I felt happy like a kid and sad when it led to heartbreaks. Watching an episode is good instead of a whole drama because it doesn't have cliffhanger ends.

All actors did a daebak job in portraying their characters perfectly The characters made me hate them like Kwon Min Woo, Tae SuMi. While characters who made us fall in love, are Choi Su Yeon, Dong Geu Rami, Jung Myung Seok, Lee Jun Ho and Woo Young Woo. Park Eun bin did a magnificent job portraying an autistic person. She gestures, hand moments, eyes. Dialogue delivery everything was pitch perfect.

Because the show was based on courtroom cases more, there was significant character growth in Woo Young Woo and Jung Myung Seok, other characters had presence but were like supporting characters. And it is totally fine because the show is based on Attorney Woo she is the main character but I still wished to have more character arc of her colleague.

The romance held an important part in the drama, it showed WYW growth as an adult. The relationship with an autistic person is sure hard and the writers gave a good script. The chemistry of Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae Oh as wyw and LJH was superb. Just like the drama because such characters only exist in dramas, not in real life

BGM and OST were soothing. “Beyond my dreams” was used so much that it eventually grew on me. “The blue night of Jeju” by Park Eun Bin and “inevitable” by Suzy are other tracks that are heartwarming. The whale enlightenment music had a lovely charm.

I am rewatching this. It is heartwarming and comforting.

I am never rewatching this

Horror is my least preferable genre, but once in a while, I do jump in to see my frightening level.
Writing about the movie, it's a really simple movie reading its synopsis I thought it won't be scary but by the end, I jumped out of my chair, paused the movie, and took long breaths. Eventually, I was able to complete it but I got really scared and had goosebumps all over.

The best part about the movie is its direction and editing. They filmed it like a documentary and maintained its poise but gave glitches and blackouts giving a feel of ghost presence. The setting of an abandoned hospital full of personal items is not spine-chilling but creepy. It creeps out little by little to scare the audience to the max in the end.

The group of youngsters was almost unknown but they did an excellent job. Our elders say that some places should not be set foot on, they say it for some reasons, although science tends to deny it supernatural powers exist. The greed of these youngsters led them to participate in a horror show but they end with nothing. The ending images of the live stream were scary and the ghosts also leave the live stream empty.

music is natural, winds, talks, walks, screams nothing imaginary filed in to gloss up the movie.

my rewatch is high!!! but am never rewatching this again. because I don't like horror genre.
but if anyone like horror genre one should definitely try this movie.

only for action

●FIRST IMPRESSION
This drama is a retelling of the snow-white in the modern world because we have got a sci-fi mirror, an evil stepmother representing a witch, bodyguards representing the 7dwarfs, Kim Je Ha aka K2 represents the huntsman, and Anna as snow white.

●PLOT VIEW
Started pretty great but falls apart in the second half. Because the tension is raised high so much I can't accept that its slow storytelling later only to discover no twists. Also, this series is titled THE K2, the story should have followed up with Kim Je Ha more than his employer's family. Rather it has a clean, satisfying ending but still, I expected a more complex story, because it had the potential. There is a stepmother and stepdaughter with an uncaring father but it is just not used properly. Rather Choi Sung Woon and park Kwan Soo had a good villain arc but it didn’t work well.
Also, there is oozing chemistry between Kim Je Ha and Choi Yoo Jin, feeling so effortlessly intense but left untold.
Well, each episode is full of the action sequence, which is choreographed perfectly that I couldn’t help but rewind and watch.

●ACTING/CAST
Im Yoo Na as Anna has a little less screen time. She is just a romantic interest of K2. she is an Idol so the makers tried to keep her Angel image. She acted well but the script didn’t help her connect with the audience, Neither she could show up the pains of the past, nor become an Angel truly.
Ji Chang Wook is cast to do action and he portrays that part like a pro. and brought plenty of intensity and emotion to those scenes. When given the chance, he draws us into his story with his portrayal of Je Ha’s pain and struggles.
Song Yoon Ah as Choi Yoo Jin, an amazing vamp. She is a vulnerable power hungry woman portrayed perfectly. her complexity is powerful.

●MUSIC
The most awesome BGM I had ever heard. Not the OSTs but instrumental and theme music is vibing me like magic. The wolf song is awesome and even added it to my playlist.

●REWATCH
Not really a rewatch drama but action sequences are surely a treat that can't be ignored.

●APPRECIATION
I would give a bow to action directors. They choreographed and edited it so smoothly that my words won't be enough to praise them.
●CRITICISM
there were a lot of aspects which could have been done better. the Political game and business snatching of the Choi family.
Kim je Ha past exploration rather than being just told in words.

●FAV SCENE
The beach scene where Kim Je Ha and Anna play catch me if you can. This scene had a relaxing feel with uplifting music and great visuals.

●RECOMMENDATION
This drama is for those who love the action genre. The political aspect might be a bit boring though.

My Kdrama Superhero HEALER

If there is a better word for, excellent, exceptional, or outstanding, I would choose that to describe the drama HEALER.

●HOW I CAME TO IT
I spent like 5 years in Kdramaland but was oblivious to Ji Chang Wook,I recently came to know about him, and with the suggestions of fellow mdl’er I decided to watch Healer.

●FIRST IMPRESSION
The drama has everything - great script, amazing casts, perfect OST, and fast-paced. It's a mix of action, drama, romance, and mystery. It kept me hooked to all 20 episodes without an ounce of weariness.

●PLOT VIEW
When I started it, I thought I know the ending but the amazing twists rambled in my mind. At some moments it felt like a superhero drama. The superheroes live a normal life but also disguise themselves in their costumes and help people. In another moment the drama felt like a makjang with a birth secret. And yet another time it felt like childhood trauma, a Kdrama cliche plot. But in spite of having all this, it had remarkable entertainment.

●ACTING/CAST
Since this is my second JCW drama I had a good impression of him but let me first hype OMG!!! he shook my heart. His action and expression were like, he is made to do this character. Fangirls swooned over his hotness and gave all his dramalist but am way past there, I love good acting. I cannot imagine another actor in the role of HEALER. The duel character give a consistent growth and I got more immersed in JCW. He made his way onto my favorite actors list.
Park Min Young, I have watched her in office dramas, but here she surprised me. She played a weak lady but fearless. Even though she is struggling she still thinks to help others. JCW and PMY created phenomenal chemistry, they were not sensational but believable, subtle, and sweet.
Another character I enjoyed thoroughly was, Hacker Ajhumma, her voiceovers were amusing and most of the time she was alone working on computers. She might have acted alone like talking to someone with perfect expression is daebak.
Supporting characters Dae Young, aide girl of the healer, Choi Chi Soo, Chul Min, and Kim Moon Ho were enjoyable. Antagonist characters were also done well, otherwise, how would the protagonist look good? The baddies elder, secretary Oh, were humans who seemed fearless but had their heads shaken by the end.

●MUSIC
Whoever chose the OSTs did an excellent job. “Eternal Love” by Michael learns to rock has a soulful tune ensembled with perfect lyrics. It synced into the Healer scenes like the blood in veins.
“I’ll protect you” and the Healer theme was also mastered well.

●FAV SCENE
The snowfall kiss scene. It was so harmoniously aesthetic.

●REWATCH
It is a great drama, am surely rewatching this very soon.

●RECOMMENDATION
If anyone likes to watch excellent action and amazing acting, Healer is a must-watch.

●APPRECIATION
The action sequence was marvelous. I enjoyed each sequence without skipping. Every run, every jump, fight it was perfect. The action director did a phenomenal job.

●AFTERTHOUGHT
I will have a hard time getting over this, and If I can't find an excellent drama of this level I will be very disappointed I guess.

A drama with 31 episodes I was really skeptical to watch this lakron for its typical Thai drama plot. But later was convinced for episodes marked were 45minutes each and the leads Bua and Pop Thagoon.

The show started great but there are a lot of plot holes, the good storyline and character requirements and development covered these loops. Sina, a stuntwoman was getting celebrity attention which never happens. They get appreciated but the way she was hiding and her popularity showed that was too much. Siriya was asked to remarry in the will, which was actually disgusting but by the end, I understood that the dead brother trusted Athirat.
The story is fast-paced with multiple twin switches, hide and seek chasing with ample amount of humor, and Villains with too many bad deeds, and the truth of the accident was webbed nicely. By the end, the story is a bit draggy due to the many supporting characters story. But still, the end is satisfactory.

About acting chops am a fan of Bua, she plays every character with ease. But playing twins was rather difficult. Sina's character had enormous energy, bubbly and strong while Siriya's character lacked depth, she was in a wheelchair but had no enthusiasm or nervousness, and Bua's expression lacked to express her pain.
Pop Thagoon as Athirat was nice in his angry mode. He was in pain since childhood but still showed his lovable side when he starts to care.
The child actor Khun Suay is very adorable. He acted nicely in every situation. He cried when scared and laughed when happy.

If anyone wants to watch they can start from the beginning and if get bored then could skip to watch last 7episode

after every sunset there is a sunrise giving hopes

Just as the title says “OUR BLUES” is full of sad stories from people of Jeju islands who are not related by blood but closely knitted as family. This drama can be watched with the family and the best thing is there are no main characters, every person is the main character in the story and the people around them are supporting them. The drama was skillfully parted into 8 stories revolving on all the casts and their lives and not just reliant on one main character.

There are problems in everyone's life but it is being solved in an effective way without making the viewers frustrated or bored. It is not preachy but still had a pinch of self-righteousness when it talked about teen pregnancy, unprotected sex, divorce, and disability. It's all very subtle, very light-hearted and the most emotional scenes are usually connected to all the supporting characters.
every actor was awesome, acting excellent until the child actor Eun Gi appeared. I also liked the new actor Jung Eun Hye playing Young Hee, the down syndrome sister. these two characters were like a surprise in the drama. they totally swept me off the floor by nailing their characters.
The thing which I learned from this drama is to live my life without regrets as we sometimes look back on the past and regret our decision. But we also forget the time when we made the decision and what kind of person we are now because of that decision.
Just like the characters who always think of their past and sometimes regret it for not trying enough. So let us accept our present and before we regret more forgive those who should be forgiven, accept those who care for you, and love those who love you

Still, wondering about it? Just try the three first episodes. If by the end of episode three you're still not immersed, it may not be for you. But if you're into heart-warming and funny stories, please give this one a go.

When you are extraordinary, but when you use intelligence for a negative purpose, it brings chaos and downfall.
This movie kept me on the edge that what comes next from this genius brain. Many people would deny and think this to be just another cheating movie, but believe me, it happens. I have seen this happening and my god students have a whole lot of tricks up their sleeve that one cannot think.
The movie is entertaining because it didn’t beat around the bush, it kept its focus on the BAD GENIUS, cheating ways. Lynn played by Aokbab is flawless, her actions were amazing. When she walked into the subway station, she gave a brilliant performance.
By the end, I felt like Grace and Bank were a bad influence. Because there is a saying in my country “ people behavior change, similar to the people they associate with”. Also, she was not correct either, but a good friend won't let you fall in a pit of misconduct and suffering.

I started this for Jung Hae In, I know he is a supporting character but that doesnt stop me from adoring him. Even if he is in for a guest role for a few seconds I would watch the drama for him.

The storyline seemed interesting at first when an old man tries to rewrite a popular folktale he had read because he liked the supporting character of Park Dal Hyang more than the main character. So the story jumps back to another 100 years where we see Park Dal Hyang as the main character who meets The Three Musketeers in the capital. The story took 5episode to interest me otherwise I would have really dropped it. When antagonists enter they create an uproar by threatening the throne, but our Musketeers and Park Dal Hyang save the day. Actually, the synopsis provided pretty detailed except for ending
As the drama was cut down to 12 episodes for the low rating, the ending was abrupt and boring.

the main character is crown prince Lee Jin Wook, bad acting or poor acting I don’t know what to say, it shook me but still, I held onto this. He tried to play smart but looked fooled by his actions. And where he was playing the fool, it was average. His laughter as a fool was so cringing.
crown princess played by Seo Hyun Jin is a bit dumb and my hopes went down again. Because she didn’t look dumb just her actions were dumb.
Jung Hae In as Ahn Min Seo and Jung Yong Hwa as Park Dal Hyang was the ones who kept me alive while watching the show. Action and expression were on point, fighting like a fire. Like I could write a lot but it would be mostly about action sequences. My 7 rating is for them.
Another character I loved was horses. They ran, jumped, neigh and looked beautiful.

If anyone wants to watch this, watch it at your own risk or if you probably are a fan of any of the main actors. You can probably 2x and skip fights if you find them boring.
All the other reviews written previously had high rating but I genuinely didnt enjoy it even though Jung Hae In is in the drama. My 7 rating is for them

when one feels uncomfortable, its totally fine and not abnormal

Everyone must have heard “People speak with their eyes more than words” and “words are more powerful than swords.”
What happens when one glares at someone, they see brands, clothes, and skin and go on thinking about anything in their mind. Like if a girl wears branded clothes, she must be filthy rich or if a girl wears a short dress she comes from a bad family, etc.
Am writing this review in total agreement with the web-series topic of feminism and gender issues because I have faced multiple incidences for my clothing choices which is most of the time formal. Men sometimes gaze continuously and sometimes throw absurd comments but we as working staff have to always maintain our warm behavior.

This short web-series covers a bold yet sensitive issue that why a Female feels unsafe in this patriarchal society. Each episode has compact stories teaching about feminism, consent, sex education, sexual harassment, and relationship tips. It teaches us to speak up rather than remain silent.

It has a good script performed skillfully by the actors.
Kim Young Dae, makes a good impression when he is sees through the minds of other male students. Not just because he is good-looking, but in his own way he shows good people also exist. While the men are allowed to do everything, females are deprived of wearing their choice of clothes, going to clubs For fear of weirdos, and many more.

Overall this web series a great eyeopener of today's society of what women face in their everyday life.

I wanna eat that emperor chicken

I am one of those who watched the Chinese remake Lobster Cop, first and overall kind of liked it, but when I watched the Original Korean Movie “Extreme Jobs” I was stunned. I felt like what crap did the Chinese do to such a good movie. The original movie is 1000 times better.

Story: “Extreme job” which is running the restaurant is their undercover but it also shows how they are trapped in the crime while trying to entrap a criminal gang.

Acting: the actors seem to be made for the characters. They not just acted but they lived the characters. Their dialogues and expressions were spot on. Actors looked unattractive with rugged and rough language, but that was the beauty. They are not on some fashion show, but cops who catch criminals so their personalities and looks suited them.

Humor: is extremely good. It is situational-based and not forced. Every act feels like my jaw would drop laughing.

Action: it is awesome. I just love it. They fight like humans, not superheroes. They get hurt and bruised but they continue with all their might

Music: in action movies what counts as music, gunshots or the fight squeaks, or walking with shoe sounds. Otherwise, BGM is done finely.

Rewatch: this movie is worth rewatching. It can make one laugh and happy.
