Watched only for Kim Hye Yoon

With the title “The Girl On The Bulldoze” the curiosity is high as what does a petite girl doing on the bulldozer.
FL life turns upside down in a day she get a clue of whats happening when her father has an accident. She runs her brain and finds clues which suggest murder or suicide. She is tries to be tough and protect her only brother, because the world is full of greedy people who try to snatch a hard earned chump from the poor.

This is another movie showing how the rich people keep oppressing the poor. They show off their richness and don’t feel an ounce of guilt to frame them into crimes and destroy families.

With the truth unfolding I actually guessed in midway of movie, that why she is on the bulldozer. She has high rage and wouldn’t tolerate a single misbehavior from adult, which I liked personally. Why does every adult think its OK to smack and spit nonsense and they should every younger person should respectfully listen to them. I felt satisfied when she doesn’t take the shit and slap back the others the same way.

While many audience think that FL should think rationally, I was actually convinced that whatever she did was best to survive. She was not a nerd brainy teenage but a tough and violent one. And when the adults overpower and try to kick her down she does what she is best at. Because we all know the wealthy would twist laws to their own favour and being a minor she wouldn’t get justice

I am highly impressed by Kim Hye Yoon acting, her expression was on spot rude and violent. Only thing I missed was some physical fight/action but considering it portrays the teen girl who is unable to fight she uses the bulldozer as her weapon.

The story is a bit lacking but overall is a good watch if you connect with the emotions of Kim Hye Yoon.

RELIVE THE NOSTALGIC CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

STORY: 9.5
though I didn’t exist in 1988 I was taken aback by the nostalgic feel of the representation of the era. Since my country had a slow development hence I experienced most of the family dramas that happened in the Sangmungdong, such as watching TV with friends since only 1 TV existed in our neighborhood, listening to news over the radio, and sending food to each other household, and many more.
Everything is priceless about this drama and I guess 70 percent of the viewers will definitely relate to something or the other with the specific time period. Scriptwriting is awesome, I loved the thought process involved in the scenes, it gives more insight into the character's feelings and their overall aura. Sometimes I would get so absorbed in the process to eventually pause and record my own overwhelming thoughts about that particular scene.
The only thing I didn’t like about the drama is the ending. Why did every family have to move out and then those places were left like an abandoned streets. I mean if that place had a development plan then it would make sense otherwise no place is left abandoned. I know many cant go back to their childhood places but IF you go back to your old street, you might not find those old houses but you can still find those old ice cream stores, those bus stops, and many others which will bring back the faded memories.

ACTING: 10
I was overwhelmed when I saw that all the parents actually had used their original names in the drama. It was amazing giving a more real feeling.
Everyone played an excellent part from parents, kids, and supporting characters.

MUSIC: 10
Listening to old songs magical feel. that orchestra music somewhat felt healing to my soul from the painful memories.

REWATCH: 10
whether I watch one episode or all its overwhelming and I am in no mood to cry again so will watch this later but definitely must watch.

FRIENDSHIP: 10
The friendship of Five was outstanding. They supported each other like family. And keeping friendship above relationship is overwhelming. I actually wanted to cuss out on the guys but couldn’t do it because of their pure friendship.
The friendship between the parents was funny, simple yet lively. also, the friendship of Sung Deok Mi and Kim Sung Kyun was heartwarming, they surely made the drama light

Lastly, the guest appearance of JUNG HAE IN is soooo sweet.

Subtle movie on sensitive topic of bullying

I had watched a lot of school bullying movies but this one is totally different. Many of the viewers might have watched The Penthouse, where one student dies and all the main characters are viewed as the probable suspects Because they did something horrible to her.
Here in the movie, ELEGANT LIES shows an introverted girl who dies without any last words. So the probable suspects include her friends who turn out to be bullies. The movie had a sensitive topic yet it's subtle and not horrifying. It shows that communication with the kids is very important. Also how much friends are important too, because we tend to lean on them other than family but are all the friends worth keeping?
I wish she really could have made a true friend!!!

As in the poster, Cheon Ji (Kim Hyang-Gi ) is knitting a red scarf, its actually very deep meaning. The red scarf is a symbolic item and it is knitted well showing that the title ELEGANT LIES is indeed pretty but when the lies are unfolded and the truth is revealed showing the thread which is simple. when the girl asked to buy yarn from her mother. Maybe she had hope in those threads which comforted her. the notes in the ball of red yarn can be interpreted as she wanted someone to help her but also wasn't able to say the pain in her feelings
I really liked the mature approach of the sister Man Ji, towards the end. She really played a tough character easily and gave a new insight that what's right and wrong. Although she couldn’t save her sister, she saved another person.
Mother really had a hard time, as she was unable to read her kid's minds, and the situation also brought her into a tight spot where she also cannot have time to keep morning for her lost child because only two members are left to rely on each other.
Acting is really superb by everyone. I admired Hyang Gi and was astonished by Yoo Ah In. He is an actor who just come and goes of the screen but marks his presence. He cannot be ignored even if in a supporting role.

This ghost is neither funny nor scary

Am not a fan of the horror genre but still, I tried to watch this because I saw a clip of funny ghosts' interaction with humans. But I was highly disappointed the clip I saw was the only funny thing in the drama too. til the 11th episode, 70 percent of the screen time was about cooking food and catching ghosts which brought no development to the story. Also, It was so slow that I was tired to watch everything, so I skipped through it. Amnesia and murder mystery could have been written more strongly because it had created a good backstory.
If anyone wants to skip, then watch the drama from episode 12, it gains a high pace in uncovering the ghost mystery.

Acting by Kim So Hyun is just excellent. She is one adorable hungry spirit.
Ok Taecyeon was good but he was just average.

Music is not memorable

Rewatch is an absolute NO. I would rather watch that clip of ghost than watch this ghost and human cohabitation.

Afterthought
The cohabitation didn’t feel like happening between a ghost and a human, because she is demanding food, clothes, and studying, she feels like a teenager who is latching onto their guardian.

Respect the the Delivery Person...

Everyone is trying to survive in this world rich or poor, but everyone's ways are different. some people do hard work and some people take the road to gambling. The struggles of being a delivery person are portrayed well, and how they are abused for not being on time, and the cold food etc, it had a realistic touch.

LIKED
-The first half of the story dealt with finding a person blocking the road, but I think wouldn’t it be better to find the person with whom the accident happened. Also, we could see clearly accidents happened due to the reckless driving, ALWAYS BE CAREFUL WHILE DRIVING AND FOLLOW TRAFFIC RULES.

- Dan Ah, is the only female delivery woman. She was a strong girl from head to toe, though she had a mean personality I could clearly read her pain.

DISLIKED
-Kang Soo's hairstyle was very distracting, but it was never made fun of, and it eventually gets fixed without any reason.

-Ko Won Hee's character didn’t exist, it wouldn't have made a difference. She was annoying and clingy in the initial but was fine later on, but still, think her role didn’t make a difference.

-The unreasonable love triangle could have been done better. Or say why was it even there. It could have been totally avoided. couldn’t it be two people meeting and helping, why do writers have to make them into a one-sided love experiment?

-The ending was too abrupt with the 16-episode length. It could have given a good closure for at least one full episode rather than just a few minutes. also, the blooming of the STRONGEST DELIVERYMAN app could have been done more better, not just for food but like the Amazon app, more benefits in just one app.

Liked
-All the water creatures, sharks, WHALE, and its baby.
-The CGI was good, it gave the beautiful ocean filled with CGI whales.
-The big ships looked superb
-Humor was good by the bandits.
-the story was good overall

Disliked
-half of the story was done on the land about the thieves
-SYJ actions were unimpressive. Felt like she struggled to perform them. Also she didn’t feel powerful and strong as the captain of ship.
-Nam Gil hairstyle was neither rough nor simple, it didn’t suit actually.

Death is inevitable but suicide is preventable.

FIRST IMPRESSION
When we hear HAPPY BIRTHDAY, all we imagine is a birthday song being sung but loved ones, cake, candles, balloons, gifts, party, like a smiling happy day when no one scolds you for any mistake. Though this drama is titled HAPPY BIRTHDAY it doesn’t have any of these. It rather shows the opposite topic, the biggest reason for sadness and death. it takes away the suffering, it leaves behind the pain to those who are known. And how difficult it is for a person who had to deal with suicide since birth. It had a grim and slow start which felt boring but I decided not to give up, and in a few episodes, it started to grow on me and I felt all kinds of goosebumps and intense emotions.
The series is very layered and narration is done excellently. With each mystery being opened up about the relationships and sufferings of Tharnam, everyone left behind seemed selfish and guilty at the same time. Tonmai seems like a victim of the things he didn’t do. His life is peaceful but not happy. . Tharnam suffered from Autophobia is very dark, if one gets sucked up, it is really difficult to cope. So when she is able to reconnect via Tonmai, I find the living people more selfish than on a guilt trip.
I felt really bad for him, who suffered everything without knowing what he was being held guilty of. Sometimes I got confused with whom should I sympathize, Tharnam who didn’t receive affection when she lived, or Tonmai who receives affection when he is possessed.
Also in this dark tale, everyone could talk about the grim story, but for me, I found a ray of hope in NOINA. So talking about side stories Noina and Tonmai's budding relationship was like ice cream, enjoyable anytime. It gave a cooling effect to the serious and gloomy drama. She didn’t have big role but she lighted up the mood whenever she was onscreen. Well, the ending is heart-wrenching and proves worth the title HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

ACTING is superb by everyone.
-No wonder Pluem as Tonmai won best supporting actor in this series but TBH he is actually the main lead not a supporting character to me.
-Mild as Thannam had the saddest face I have ever seen on a 17-year-old teenager. She just carried the character of Tharnam exquisitely like living into it.
-Push as Tee certainly gave handsomeness to the show, I have seen him in rather rough and arrogant roles, so it was pretty good to watch him in a remorseful and gloomy character.
-Lung Tai was one of the best characters in the show. he definitely played a more father figure to Thanam than her real father.

MUSIC
I loved the BGM's. it is excellent and mesmerizing. The opening tune sets a sad tone, that what we are going to watch could be more than that.

REWATCH
it is a bit difficult. Once you have opened the mystery box, there is no reason to find that box again. Also because it is a grim tale rather than sad which could easily make me depressed cause am a really emotional person.

AFTERTHOUGHT
Death is inevitable but suicide is preventable. It takes one dark moment to overshadow your courage into something grim, so rather than fighting alone, find a comrade to fight.

interesting stories had great potential whipped with great acting

1. Bandi - 8.5/10
the collection of Unframed movies, begins with director Choi Moon’s soft and surreal storyline of the titular character Bandi, a teen girl who lives with her mother. mother and daughter visit the grandmother. The three of them are emotionally grieving due to Bandi's father's death. The grandmother keeps seeing her son in the house, while So Yeong (wife)doesn't talk about him, Bandi had a stammering problem for which she is also bullied.
Bandi however feels solace in her father's room and tries to talk to her mother. They both visit a forest to see fireflies(Bandi) where the mother and deceased father had promised to come. This shows they had a communication gap which is minimized when they keep on talking. While returning Bandi asks for her grandmother's number to stay in touch. The end is surreal as it ends at the same place where it started with a stronger bond between So Yeong and bandi as they talk about her father.
The character Bandi also emphasizes the title Bandi (Firefly). Just like a firefly flickers, Bandi stammers in spite of that they both bring smiles.
The scenes of the forest and park give a natural feel, whereas the restaurant gives an emotional touch. it is visually emphasizing that the movie ends where it began.

2.ReRun - 7/10
It takes us on a brief journey of a failed actor with his aunt by Son Sukku.
Soo In visits his aunt to send her off to a wedding ceremony but her health deteriorates on the way. while she gets an IV, she glimpses of her daughter. Soo In gets an urgent gig but gets uncertain. When they both reach the venue late, only a few close families are there. While he is looked down on because of having no proper success, he also feels out of place. He remains calm, fills up a food plate, and presents it to his aunt, showing his care until the end When all the others were just trying to talk.
The movie shows how an unsuccessful person is looked down. While he is the most genuine person who cares for his aunt with small gestures and doesn't really talk back. Soo-In's kind personality is all we all need to see his amazing acting skills.

3. Vote for INNO - 10/10
Park Jung Min brings the third piece which is a darker tale behind the faces of innocence. It focuses on a rigged class president election in a junior high school, where a bully manipulates an unnoticed student to win against a rich kid who uses the money to lure voters.
the intense music favors the visuals that how it was rigged and who actually won the elections. It gives a highlight of the adult political world in the form of class president election, where kids do campaigns, give speeches and bully the ones below them.
I was shocked to see the environment in class. Yes, students should have competition but here it is so unhealthy focusing on the present adult political world. All the kids gave a phenomenal performance. The music and editing are equally amazing to give an uncanny joy to watch “Vote for, I don’t Know”

4. Blue Happiness - 7/10
A clear critique of the oppressive nature of youths in present-day, Lee Je Hoons gives a bitter-sweet modern couple in “Blue Happiness”. Chan Yeong is a young man who is job hunting meanwhile working as a chauffeur and is in a live-in relationship with his girlfriend. He coincidently meets his former classmate who convinces him to do stock trading. While in the beginning, he manages to make money he falls into the loop of the stock market and incurs losses both in money and relationship.
This highlights the modern youth problem of job hunting who sometimes knowingly or unknowingly fall into these gambling games. They ruin themselves while losing money, relationships, and sometimes life too. the struggles of Chan Yeong played by Jung Hae In are the only good thing about this story. He simply connects the audience with his emotions. Story TBH is nothing special.

OVERALL
It is a good watch, by the actors, turned directors it is a good effort with liking possibly two or more short of the films. The messages within were very deep and complicated.
The performances were excellent in all.
The cinematography was amazing in all of them.
I wish to see Park Jeong Min more work as a director.

REWATCH
I wouldn't rewatch it, but I'd say if you're a commuter, you just found yourself two days' worth of entertainment

Beginners Guide to BDSM

when we hear about BDSM, the first thing that comes to mind is Fifty Shades of Grey, where we saw the richness, privet jets or better say a billionaire's secret desires. it seemed all right since he was Rich, if he was poor it would turn into some crime movie.
Love and Leashes show the desires of an average office working guy, who is afraid that society might think of him as a pervert. but he meets someone who catches him but doesn't tell anybody. they both are novices to BDSM but give their best to learn and explore this new world. there is mild nudity(as ML is shirtless in a few scenes) but has a complicated shyness. this movie could have gone all wrong but it maintained the subject and the characters well. they felt raw, sexy, and clean. it had subtle rom-com too, not making it into some XXX nude content. this movie is a guide for average people who aren't rich like Mr. Christian Grey could also enjoy BDSM, but first of all, a CONSENT IS A MUST.

the exploring of this hush-hush world through the FL was done awesomely, she maintains her Dominant play well. but as a woman, she showed her weaknesses too. I loved her hard work learning about BDSM. Submissive ML was a charm, he was cute, courteous, and sexy in his work clothes wearing those ropes and belts.

EVERYONE DID A GREAT JOB. ACTORS, WRITERS, DIRECTORS EVERYONE DESERVES AN APPLAUSE.

amazing lovestory within a typical Lakron

Being a Thai drama watcher the most interesting thing about lakron is, that it begins with a crazy overdramatic plot, raising the tension so high that, I can't resist but binge it. But the only thing that I don’t like about lakrons is the toxicity in the relationship between ML and FL. And this drama is exactly my type, besides an enticing plot, it serves a beautiful love story.

●SIMPLE ADVICE
-if anyone doesn't like the revenge trope lakron, please watch something else. there are lots of other dramas without this topic. stop watching what you don't like and rant about it.

●PLOT VIEW
The synopsis gives a clear hint of a typical lakron as Ingjan is forced to marry Sichon to clear off her debt. While he married her in order to take revenge. Well, Sichon's idea is to make her fall in love and hurt, and the relationship between IngJan and Sichon develops gingerly. the bickering of the duo is pleasant, whether in the bedroom or vineyard. At first, it might seem annoying (with one forced kiss in the beginning), but we get to see a warm love story where IngJan helps out and Sichon also takes her suggestion. They both were smart and perfect solving problems at the same time hot and sassy sharing explosive chemistry.
The past storyline of Tuscany is well developed and I loved how it was revealed in bits to maintain the curiosity of the viewers, that what actually happened.
Also, There are 5 evils wanting to split the duo creating a whole lot of confusion but making the plot very interesting, gripping, and full of action one woman Mekhla has a secret and is more dangerous than any other evils. Thip is Ex of sichon, these women fight but they aren’t bitchy. They show off their plans and mind games than using the ugly slap and back sequence. Also, there are a stepmom, stepbrother, and village chief are another set of pain and negativity in the whole drama.

●ACTING/CAST
Whoever did the casting deserves an appraisal to take in BigM and Hana as the leads
-BigM as Sichon, he is smart, clever, caring moreover loving. He loves IngJan to the core showing his loverboy and sexy sides. he was always full of charm and a good person caring about the workers and villagers. He never missed any opportunities to kiss her or hug her. They kiss passionately and it makes me want to repeat and rewatch. It made their relationship look realistic, as they were newly married but took time to understand each other.
-Hana Lewis as IngJan, is beautiful and charming like a rose petal, portrays a strong and decisive person, who never gives up but adjusts to time and situations. she took time to know Sichon better as a person, and also her feelings because it was a forced marriage. Her chemistry with the male lead was very great, Indeed the kissing sequence was so amazing to watch.
-Anisa as Mekhla, portrays a woman with a secret. She seems evil with her body language and I also got terrified watching her in dark scenes. She acted very well. Her secret reveal was well done
-Ploy as Thip seemed crazy at times but shows that she is a victim of her own bad choices. I have seen her before and she did well too
-Sasimorn, Sichons aunt is one beautiful character. I just loved her for her straightforward dialogues and good nature. She always tries to pull Sichon and Ingjan together.
-Fifa as Jomphop was a good friend and worker. I liked how he manages to maintain the peace in the vineyard and keep Tungpaeng aways
-Ching ching as Tungpaeng is one cute character who is oblivious of her father's evils. But she always stands on the side of goodness and does good deeds. People like her make this world a better place.

●MUSIC
I really liked the closing track. It's sung by the lead actor BigM himself. The tone and melody is soul touching.
The only thing I didn’t like about BGM is that it got sudden changes may be due to commercial breaks as we binge it, so it feels rather weird how it changes.

●REWATCH
Yes, I would rewatch this, It was entertaining and had epic romantic scenes for me to rewatch.

●FAV SCENE
Opening bedroom scene in Ep 8. I love how they bicker and fight. They are forced to stay together but the chemistry we see is full of charm and romance.

●APPRECIATION
I love the wardrobe of IngJan, especially the nightwear. They were elegant and cute, no wonder she looked tempting that Sichon can't resist.

●RECOMMENDATION
-Anyone who loves a typical lakron can watch JAO SAO JUM LOEY.
-If you are a first-time Thai drama watcher but want a mild dose of lakron, you can watch this.

●AFTERTHOUGHT
Although this lakron has a typical story but shows great chemistry of leads in a warm way. ML may seem vengeful but he is a loverboy IMO who was hurt. its a good drama that is entertaining with excellent leads characters and good secondary characters.

The best version of BOF ever, F4THAILAND highly recomended

When you are remaking a classic, the drama that had been watched by the whole world, remains the “first drama” of thousand of drama lovers (mine too). So it had to put its best work to at least maintain its reputation as a classic remake.

●PLOT VIEW
With all due respect, I had seen most Thai dramas with abusive, arrogant ML relationships go wrong with forced kisses and all, and BOF had this plot too, but F4 THAILAND did everything right with this classic. While the Chinese version put extra creativity to have more number of episodes, the S.K. version showed extra richness and some cringy moments.

The brand new Thai version compacted it to 16 episodes, making each episode into titular storytelling. It added all the highlights of the novel like kick, bullying, necklace, engagement, amnesia, etc and weaved a modern saga full of technology, love, and friendship. Every single moment is so practical and likable. Yeah, it gave a pure friendship between Gorya and Ren + a secret story of IRIS(MJ who is always left alone for no good reason).
The nuances in Thyme’s character just show that he has truly changed and is not like his past self. On top of that, instead of just forgetting about his past self, he faces it and clears the bad relationship with anyone he has treated harshly. ALL the characters are also so well shaped and portrayed. This is the ONLY version where the two main leads are perfect for each other. I can feel their strong bond and it’s not just because of their appearance but also their identical personalities (strong, unrelenting, and compassionate) I feel like that is just sooooo powerful.

Lastly, it's titled F4 for a reason, because they had shown THYME, REN, MJ, and KAVIN's friendship more prominent. They take each other back in good and bad. Bullying and asking forgiveness, teaching lessons and learning lessons. we can feel their extraordinary bond in each episode.

●ACTING
whoever did the casting deserves a raise, I had lots to say about every character because everyone deserves applause, starting with my favorite.
BRIGHT as Thyme, had a bulky build but a childish heart. Very perfect for the character, thank god he didn’t have any particular hairstyle but had the distinct trait of speaking incorrect words. His innocence is overflowed in each episode until we see how his mother had ruined him. BRIGHT had done a commendable job being arrogant, cute, shy, kind, snobby, and supercilious.
TU TANTAWAN as Gorya impacted everyone in a good way. She was like the unidentified leader of F4. TU is supernatural playing Gorya so effortlessly. She isn't shown as weak but as a strong yet compassionate person. She is gonna be my favorite FL of all the previous versions.
DEW as Ren, the person who can be the SML syndrome. But the pure friendship just saved it. He acted mostly with his eyes and smile. I paused at times to appreciate his smile.
WIN as Kavin, sincerely he didn’t seem like a playboy. But Kavin's character says he is, I think that needed some extra charm because he always kept a cold face.
NANI as MJ, this fourth member had no story but the Thai version secretly created a secret story for him. MJ's long hair, riding a bike wearing leather jackets show his badass mafia character.
PRIM as Kaning was so beautiful, I like her simple laced hairstyle throughout. She is a strong and helpful friend who knows what she wants.
Lita, Mira, Hana, Tia, and Roselyn showed a line of strong powerful women. And none of them could be hated for their characters but applauded for their realistic performance.
Also, Talay, phupha, and uncle Ga were amazing.

●MUSIC
The music is enchanting. I felt like I am at a musical concert. The opening track “Who am I” sung by F4 is worth millions of likes. Am truly happy that most of the songs have been sung by the actors themselves.

●REWATCH
Of course yes, I think this is gonna be a favorite of all. And if any new versions appear it will have a tough fight with F4.

●APPRECIATION
The use of technology and social media gives a modernized and realistic approach. Also, the Thai cultural aspect is improvised by showing the importance of flower garlands.
It omitted all the cringy content that many viewers didn’t like in the previous BOF version.
It pays tribute to previous versions in many scenes by mentioning the characters names in the background (like if you watch carefully in episode 15 the market name is Gu Jyun Pyon).

●QUOTES
Each episode title invisibly tells the episode story but they have a deeper meaning if given a thought.

●RECOMMENDATION
If you have BOF before, you should give F4 THAILAND a chance to show its charm.
If you haven't watched any BOF or any Thai drama before then, take F4 Thailand as a highly recommended one to open doors to the Thai drama world.

cheesy teen romance

I haven’t seen the 2014 L-DK, so my review is based on this movie only. It was a typical Japanese teen movie where two high schoolers Aoi Nishimori and Shusei Kugayama live together, since they are underage they do not reveal it to anyone at school. The problem strikes when they fall in love and ML's cousin appears.
The plot is really fast-paced, the story presented a background really quick with some flashbacks and runs onto the teens lives hiding their secrets. it is like a teen fantasy where the most popular and handsome guy falls for the average-looking girl. Living together with your crush and doing everything except sex (because you have just gained knowledge about it), is what a common girls dream of. But at the same time stopping others from pursuing their dream is quite selfish. You can separate from your parents and live but you cant stay distanced from your beloved, It was teenage first love hormones. That was way too childish.

I have always been curious that, Japanese teens stay alone without any guardian supervision is that really their culture. The girl didn’t have a dream and just focuses on taking care of her partner, that point actually irked me. Everyone should go for a good higher education, and if one doesn’t trust their partner then it's really a matter of concern. she must have seen her mother doing house chores and her parents living happily together. IMO if they didn't live together love wouldn't have happened. more than the love they were each other habits and the girl wanted to cling to her habit.

The acting of the main cast Sugino Yosuke, Kamishiraishi Mone, and Yokohama Ryuse was mediocre. The visuals though were nice.
The music was good. The song 'Happy End' shows the happiness of Aoi and the song 'Every time' shows me the emotions of Reon
I wouldn't rewatch this because it is too cheesy. And I had more than enough of these typical Japanese teen movies.

Lighthearted TYPICAL KDRAMA but still feels refreshing

●FIRST IMPRESSION
As the title says BUSINESS PROPOSAL, I thought of possible Kdrama cliché I.e. contract relationship, accidental kiss, childhood trauma, boss-employee relationship, the secondary couple are leads friends and all my expectations of cliché Kdrama rom-com are fulfilled. Despite that BUSINESS PROPOSAL is heartwarming as hell.

●PLOT VIEW
My concept of love is that there is never love at first sight, it is just attraction of the outer beauty. For love to be true, it always progresses slowly, They embrace each other flaws and appreciate the charms. when the two people are destined together with each encounter loves turns into slow burn passion. Shin Ha-Ri and Kim Tae-Mu had a chance encounter but as they come to know each other they romantically fall for each other.
As the title says BUSINESS PROPOSAL, the contract relationship seemed basic for the plot development. SHR has a secret and KTM is a workaholic signing them into a contact relationship making them meet and greet and also giving out cheesy office romance. For a few episodes, KTM is seen as tsundere but ends up being warm and soft to contrast SHR's lively personality. KTM fulfilling his filial duties by getting married as his grandfather wished, he didn’t want to lose the person he likes is the most charming shows his guts and persistence as a man.

Cha Sung-Hoon and Jin Young-Seo made a pretty good secondary couple without overlapping or creating confusion in the leads' love story. They were great supporting friends.
The series is fast-paced to unveil its story in 12 episodes. despite its compact episodes, it had few unnecessary plot fillers of office people and others. The drama is lighthearted without losing its theme, and gives unexpected twists and turns in the love story of the leads.

●ACTING/CAST
Let me talk about my favorite first,
Ahn Hyo Seop as KTM, his young and slender body with sleek hairstyle was a typical Kdrama CEO character. AHS outshined his annoying expression with cold eyes. He had a playful and unpredictable personality. This is the 2nd drama of AHY I completed, in the initial episodes I didn’t recognize him, he looked super different and that makes him an amazing actor, playing a character that gives a different visual.
Kim Se Jeong as Shin Ha Ri watched her for the first time. She was a strong-willed, amazing friend. Her portrayal of Shin Geum-Hi was amusing.
The grandfather of KTM is like a big teddy bear I wanna hug. being a typical Kdrama lover he made a lasting impression.

●MUSIC
The theme music for KTM is my favorite. His gleaming eyes and fossil bird flying to the music are so apt.
Though I enjoyed the OSTs they aren't memorable as they are not played much. Unlike the other Kdrama where an OST is repeatedly played until one gets bored.

●REWATCH
I would rewatch the drama as the story is also lighthearted and the lead pair did an amazing job.

●APPRECIATION
No love triangle.
No annoying Ex.

●FAV SCENE
The lead's first blind date. (Ep 1)

●RECOMMENDATION
If you like cheesy romance, typical Kdrama with rich ML, and poor FL troup, you should watch this drama.

●AFTERTHOUGHT
Love comes in unexpected ways!!! all we need to do is persist but never pressure. If the person is meant for you they will see the love and loyalty in your persistence. If not they will feel persistence as pressure hindering their daily lifestyle.

blossoming lovestory after an arranged marriage

●PLOT VIEW
As the drama is set in the 1950s, the time when child betrothal was common to make relationships stronger between friends and families. The arranged marriage brings two strangers together to create a family and love blooms. The concept of falling in love after marriage is my favorite maybe because I am an Asian too. the slow evolution of love is forever lasting as I believe when marriages are a sacred bond “until death do us apart” types. both the partners do adjustments and compromises to make their relationship better and those tiny things are appreciated opening a way to the heart.
Not like nowadays when partners live-in together and break up, because they know too much and are unable to adjust to others heed.

Saran and Rin are bonded by arranged marriage, a filial duty towards their parents, but they do not lose their personalities. They have conflicts due to Saran Ex but their best to make their marriage possible brings them close giving a slow burn romance. set in the beautiful old era set showing the daily lives of a woman working in the kitchen and doing every work of her husband herself is gradual and beautiful.
For a second I even thought that this drama is setting an example of a good wife, sweet talker, shy, doing house chores but wait Rin is different she had all those traits but also pride and who cant share her husband.

The thief gang leader white tiger practicing black magic was written nicely. Although people don’t believe it, Asians know that it still exists.
Saran's belief in goodness is quite evident and somewhere the love and prayers of Rin also work fine for him. As he is the lead he has to be extra brave and yeah saran goes out of his way to catch the thieves.
Charat and Buranee were very interesting. But the storyline of 2nd sister Baranee was quite boring, I mostly skipped through her part.
Clingy Ex Duangswad and Arunrek were too annoying and shameless. But the way leads handled them with cleverness and compassion was nice. Leads felt hurt but they couldn’t hurt their past relations.

●ACTING/CAST
James Jirayu looks so youthful in the cop's uniform. His action was poignantly contrasting his cutesy romance sequence.
Bella Ranee has never disappointed. Her presence itself seems like grace to the drama. Her whole sweet girl character is witty and her wardrobe is simple yet elegant just like her.

●MUSIC
I enjoyed the OSTs but it's not memorable.

●REWATCH
I would rewatch the series for the amazing lead pair. They definitely did a great job.

●FAV SCENE
The finger counts up to 10.It feels like a completion of love. I didn’t understand this gesture in the previous episode what does the finger counting refers to but when it counts to 10 with intertwined fingers, it shows that they both have entered full into each other's life understanding them without saying much. Ep-10

●APPRECIATION
The series has the best parents who raised kids with good values. Parents of Rin and Saran always teach them goodness and enlighten them. They didn’t let them make mistakes and discipline them strictly so that the children will not make wrong choices. They also gave important life lessons throughout the drama. Saran's mother always taught him with household items, these lessons are not just for them but for the audience too.

●RECOMMENDATION
This is a rare gem of Thai dramas although it had some cliche lakron content of annoying second FL but thats alright as it only made their bond stronger. Presents the blossoming love story of Officer Saran and Rin. Those who love arranged marriage concept will surely like it. it doesnt have any slap/kiss or ML forcing himself, its a sweet drama.

keeps the focus on Pirate and treasure

Pirates- The Royal Treasure, for this Korean Pirate movie the captain is a female captain Hae Rang (Han Hyo Joo) with a swordsman turned pirate Wu Mu Chi (Kang Ha Neul) and a comical Mak Yi (Lee Kwang Su) and others.

even if I don’t want to but still Can't help but think of Pirates of the Caribbean when I hear pirate, as Johnny Depp has made his character Captain Jack Sparrow iconic, who shows intelligence in deciphering maps, does excellent comedy, and shows excellent action sequence. And for the Korean movie need three characters to show all these.
The story is fast-paced with finding a map, locating the treasure, and successfully getting it. the CGI is good. It kept its pirate theme on spot not delving into characters' past before becoming a pirate. Mak Yi's slapstick comedy and scheming tactics made a good screen time and the rest was covered with the enormous sword fighting. HHJ fighting sword sequences were nice. KHN's hairstyle was too distracting. the acting was good. Chae Soo Bin's thief personality was evident but she didn't get enough screen. actually, the story lacked good scripting.

Overall this was a perfectly comical relief for those who miss "Captain Jack Sparrow" and his witty good sense of humor to save the day.
