I loved every second of it up until the weird and off putting last episode. I'm totally planning on rewatching it, but without that. The soundtrack is fabulous too, that ending song is just absurdly sexy. That smirk of Zhao Yao's is just fabulous, and when she's prowling around her captive with that predatory look on her face? Priceless.
Thanks for the post, brought some happy nostalgia to my day <3

Yes! Someone who saw in Swordmaster what I did. With all the rabid fangirls of Lin GengXin because of Princess Agents out there I'm surprised this didn't get more attention. But then I guess this isn't the crazed follower type of movie. I absolutely loved the odd chemistry between GengXin and Ho YunTung , and the sword dancing was just dazzling, but it's the story that kept me watching.
I'm going to check and see if G@me and Hypnotist are available anywhere for me, they look interesting and I like cerebral dramas.

From the couple articles i read it's more a matter of that they opened it up to family viewing rather than keeping it for the originally targeted 18 and up (or whatever the next rank is) without the editing being double checked. But tbh I doubt it would even have made those waves if people weren't staying home and cranky with it.

Honestly, those gifs alone made me roll my eyes and snicker at the same time. I just can't even lol
I'm making a date with a bottle of soju and the first couple episodes of this one. ^,^ Some day soon when I really just need to relax my head. Thanks for the article and laughs!

Me too! \o/ And he's playing Elder Scrolls. See? So apt
I will sheepishly admit I play warcraft- like a boss- when it's not pre expansion downtime, but even then I miss my Asian dramas. It's so much more peaceful lol

https://mydramalist.com/35251-we-are-all-alone - on iqiyi and https://mydramalist.com/27234-le-coup-de-foudre - on viki. The first is adult with what looks like college flashbacks. (I'm watching it right now.) The second is half high school, and half adult years. Both are pretty damn good and it's kind of hard to find decent ones in c-drama land. There's also https://mydramalist.com/30372-find-yourself -netflix if you don't mind/like noona romances. ^.^ Hope you don't mind me chiming in. <3

I loved this so much I shoved it in the face of the family members closest to me and immediately made them read it. (They're used to it. ) Let's face it, these and romance novel guys are the girl's version of p**** to us. They just fulfill that fantasy that we don't typically get otherwise.
I wrote the guy's version of this article in my head as I was reading it (my brain works like that) which I would post but I don't want to get banned. ^.^ How awesome is it that we can view ours in something other than a dark room with the door locked?

Hmmmm. About half of this show is about revolting against an oppressive regime. Somehow I don't think Beijing would embrace that right now. Just saying.
I vote for a Taiwanese remake. I would say Hong Kong but... well.

I feel the same about this, it got such a bad rap and it's soooo much better than 9/10 of the c-dramas that have been released, especially recently. They pan VS's acting when she's just low key and not over-the-top like most girls are portrayed now, and the story line, which is not nearly as wacky as some I've seen out there that have gotten raves. It baffles me. I've already watched this twice, and i really hope they finish the story somehow. Felt so open ended to me.

I've never seen Dexter, but reading the synopsis I could definitely see it getting adapted. Crime/serial killer…
Agreed, with all the i knew you in a past life, love triangles and supernatural drama, Haven seems like it was tailored for a Korean remake. ^.^
