Agree about that: I found a few draggy moments, but nothing too painful.

I never consider a single word of a person skipping scenes as a valid opinion.
Even more on a drama like that with so much density and every moment makes sens.

On average 1h15 episodes, so it's a 15 hours drama.

Take half the show means: in any scene, you have the character during ~7h.

Comments about blah blah, this plot is not needed, blah blah father plot boring, blah blah who's Ki Ho painful, etcccccc... All that comments are what is really useless.
I mean, you watched the whole drama and understand it, so you know it. ;-)
All is linked in this story, no way to remove something on a whim.

He's a gray character and get a gray ending.

Yes, the script is so good, and also very positive vibes and thoughts about life.

Since a long time I wasn't that amazed by the writing.

Hard to estimate, but as the episodes are longer, it should be a 14h drama.

No, the show is about the story the writer want to tell, and so, the father plot is essential. If not, the writer wouldn't tell it. Then, I won't make the list of all the impacts this part have with the rest.

However, I'm agree with you about that: I don't like psycho-killers, police investigation or stories about that. I still can like when there is something better than what I expect (example, drama Mouse, or here good acting and consistent character). But I watched dramas where I just don't care about that and watch for other parts. I just think "ah, it needs some plot-device to cause obstacles", well, that kind of thoughts.
