I wouldn't say it's the producer << he is the money guy. It's the director he approves each scene and how it's shot. The director says "cut" when he wants to change or re direct the cast. Only he can bring out the best performance. If he's lazy and accepts a performance that's on him. As for the script if it's weak nothing can save it. All about egos and attention to details.

Lots of comments about Fangyin's death. It was a sub plot to show the guard, who played both sides, didn't get away with it. All were punished just sad that Fangyin grabbed him so he wouldn't get away. Revenge was taken for her and the guards double dealings. Sad I know but tied up his story line in a neat package. (I hate loose strings) Everyone who plotted and double played got what they deserved. ♥
