This drama is lighthearted comedy drama, so much laughter , cross fire is heavier drama. I can’t compare both…
Yes. I also noticed the fast speed, as well. I think that I am seriously suffering from Boys Over Flowers’ Syndrome, once again. While the entire world of drama-viewers is going gaga over Falling Into Your Smile… Meanwhile, I am more like… Hmmmmm🤔

Thanks. I need the motivation to continue. I am in episode 4 and I am not invested whatsoever; I am barely paying attention to what they are saying (I was more excited and more attentive watching Love Scenery - That is not right). I keep on stopping with any chance I get. Which is a shame because I was really excited to watch this one for XuXu and for the great director behind it🤧.
Too much romance, too much kissing scene, lesser game scene! It could have been better. I personally liked the…
Well said! I am only in episode 4 and I find myself not fully invested. I think that I am seriously suffering from Boys Over Flowers’ Syndrome, once again. While the entire world of drama-viewers is going gaga over Falling Into Your Smile… Meanwhile, I am more like… Hmmmmm🤔 And I was also expecting way better game scenes.
Just as I always compare any period-historical drama to Nirvana in Fire 1, in order to give my rating…. I also compare any esports drama to Cross Fire, in order to give my rating. And my ratings are always based on the production value, not necessarily nor essentially on the storyline. Giving, if the storyline is as well written and as unique as Cross Fire… Then it is always a nice bonus.

I love very involved and heavy esports game scenes like in… Cross Fire, The King's Avatar and Love Scenery. Unfortunately, Love O2O is not one of my favorites.
What I am getting from this first episode is Gank Your Heart… Where the game scenes are rather mediocre compared to the ones listed above. Anyway, I will keep on watching it because of XuXu (Of course). I can already foresee that the romance will play a bigger part rather than anything else.

Essentially, it was a very nice intermission contemporary esports/idol drama, while waiting for Falling Into Your Smile to be fully English subtitled… Which I just recently started. Unexpectedly for me, Love Scenery is wining, hands down. I wish that they had made use of Lu Jin’s fantastic violin playing skills in one of the Liang Cheng’s songs. As for the old stalker/friend… I guess they just wanted an old creepy guy in the mix. Seriously, his character had absolutely no purpose in the drama.
Fyi: Lulu Xu and Lin Yi’s actings were effortlessly natural. One of the best chemistry and synergy that I have seen in a Chinese contemporary drama.
Probably not really reliable since this initial leading cast has been removed on this platform. Since the original novel was based around an older leading cast and the second tv adaptation was based around a more younger leading cast… I am not sure what would be their target for the third tv adaptation?
Me, even as a fan of both of them… I was not impressed with Wallace Chung and Zhao Liying’s latest performances.
Hi , anyone can tell me, why a lot of people hate SML? cause i'm at ep 8 right now and i think sml pretty good…
The SML is obviously obsessed with the FL. And probably has done many many secretly shady things around her so she can ONLY depend on him. It is easy to decipher that he is one of those obsessive and dominant male characters, borderline if not fully BDSM.
Am I the only one who thinks that Lulu Xu looks very similar to Li Qin? I watched a number of her recently aired modern trailer dramas; and every-time, I thought she was Li Qin. And Lulu Xu’s acting is not half bad. She feels very natural.
This drama is not that bad. It slightly reminds me of Cross Fire but the very very very very lighter and the very very very very diluted version. A cute intermission while waiting for Falling Into Your Smile to be fully English subtitled.

Since this drama remained beautiful, interesting and entertaining in its entirety, from episode 1 to episode 16, then I will simply repeat my initial impression from episode 1.
How can I say this using the most simplest words in the English dictionary…? I simply loved this drama. What a world of difference between “My Roommate is a Gumiho” and “Doom at Your Service.” From A to Z… The writing, the casting, the general acting, the directing and THE COMICAL LINES were on point. I am so happy that I waited for the full completion before I started it. My Roommate is a Gumiho has become my third favorite Gumiho’s storyline after… - Gu Family Book - Gumiho: Tale of the Fox's Child

I miss you dearly, we know you are rich and established with a beautiful family. prefer to be out of the public…
I agree. Every time I see an actor or an actress from his old dramas and movies; I get so nostalgic about his larger than life old-performances. I guess raising 3 boys and having a high profile wife make him too busy for anything else.

(Certainly not a Cross Fire’s worthy of a first episode)
Apparently, the old stalker/friend was just an old creepy guy. Nothing more and nothing less.

- Brain
- Jawline
- Abs
- Height (The taller the better)
- Prominent Adam’s apple

I only remembered seeing her in
The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, as a restaurant cook.
I don’t understand your last sentence, “while hes known for what?”
