I screamed, I laughed, I cried. This episode gave me life! The locker room scene, when Ayan shushed Akk was so sexy! And the kiss gave me butterflies. I'm gonna watch this episode every day until next friday :-) Man, I love everything about Ayan. He's now one of my favorite MC. Khaotung is awesome: every facial expression, every laugh is on point.
I already had reservations about this series and now they removed Mike?! Krist and Gawin? Fck no! Krist doesn't have chemistry with anyone except Singto, he can't even create chemistry with his female co-stars. I like Gawin but he's on the shy side, he'd have to bring 200% of the chemistry for this pairing to actually work. I'm already sad for him.
You said: "It's not what he said but how he said it. He's right to want a responsible and successful lover, to…
"Like someone said on youtube, it's' dom brat tamer' and 'sub brat' dynamics and they have been a bit kinky from the start. " -> Yeah I agree. But I'd say PhayuRain is more Daddy/boy dynamic. I believe that is what Mame is depicting. However, Daddy/boy doesn't necessarily mean you literally treat you partner as a kid. You can talk to them, explain your thought process, your expectations. Daddy/Boy dynamic can be a lot of things: age and/or incomes difference, status difference, kinky sex, a role play or a way of life, a mentor/student bond... Of course, the dynamic operates differently depending on the people in the relationship. However, the basis of Daddy/boy is trust and communication. The nurturing and growth aspect of the Daddy/boy dynamic is well represented in Love in the Air (Phayu is helping Rain to manage his school workload, to be more responsible...) but the honesty and communication part is lacking since Phayu doesn't talk to Rain and has to manipulate him to do what he wants. There's no discussion about their expectations to make sure they're both on the same page. I have friends in the Daddy/boy and BDSM community and I've yet to see Daddies speak to their boys like they're stupid 5yo. Obviously, every couple has their own definition of Daddy/boy, so what we’re seeing here is possible. I’m simply saying I don’t appreciate Phayu’s actions, especially when they’re already in a power unbalanced relationship.
Ngl, I cringed during the scene where Phayu told Rain they can't see each other. While I understand what he wanted to accomplish I don't like his method. It's not what he said but how he said it. He's right to want a responsible and successful lover, to want Rain to do better. I appreciate he has good intention and really likes Rain. However, his phrasing is once again condescending. Phayu decided by himself to stop seeing Rain and didn't acknowledge him. I mean, Rain behaves like a kid but he's still an adult, so he should be treated as such : they can talk about the situation, Phayu can explain his expectations and they can find together a solution suitable for both of them. What we got instead is Phayu manipulating Rain so that he would get his desired outcome. Hum, that might be cute here but it can become problematic if your lover acts like this every day, for every decision. Well, I guess that's the story we're getting, a 24yo talking to his 19yo boyfriend like he's 5. I should make peace with it lol. On another note, that NC scene was quite well executed. Kudos to Noeul and Boss :-)
A lot of people may disapprove, but I have to say I love these two actors who are the main couple, but not together.…
Totally agree. I feel nothing when they're together. They don't complement each other on the acting level. And I don't see the chemistry. I thought it was because of their (boring) characters in UMWA but I'm watching Oh My Sunshine and I conclude that I just don't connect with this pairing.
I don't know. The person breaking into Ayans locker was wearing a Judo outfit! I could see Akk, Wat and Nemo in…
You're right, I completely forgot about the judo outfit! I need to watch it again lol. In any case, the classmate is working with Chadok or the janitor lol.
The World Remembers guys were so cute in this ep. I was afraid something bad would happen to them. Did Akk had a crush on the last prefect or what? The way he described their first meeting lol. AyanAkk better kiss next episode because the teasing is too much now! Edit: the culprit was wearing the judo outfit so it's obviously a classmate. However I believe he's working for an adult: - The janitor. We saw him 2 times in this ep, for no good reason. And who has spare keys for lockers ? - Teacher Chadok. Notice he wasn't at his office the day it happened.
Overall, a good episode even though I don't like the unecessary flashbacks (it's one of my biggest pet peeves) and how abrupt was AyanAkk fight (it escalated quickly, the punch came out of nowhere).
The cast is very strange, The twin younger brother looks older then Phayu, And Pahayu looks in the same age as…
"Boss is a really really good looking guy, but the combination of his lacking of acting skills" -> Ah, finally someone said it. I thought I was watching a different series...
