Title Ai Long Nhai
This series is a mess. The plot, the filming, the acting and the subtitles! Nothing good here but strangely I find it cute... I'll continue because it's something to watch on monday and I want to see how Nhai will fall in love with Ai (though I can already see the tropes coming).

I giggled too much while watching this episode. So many cute moments. Is it me or since Skam Norway there are underwater kisses everywhere?! I don't even remember seeing them before Isak & Even.
Not people complaining the main plot goes nowhere. Come on, guys, the main plot isn't the curse. It never was. The main plot is about the couples' relationships, Akk & Khan accepting their sexual orientation and the criticism of authoritarian governments. Once you understand that you can fully appreciate the series instead of waiting for the curse resolution.

Yep. I feel like since Evak I see underwater kisses everywhere. I don't remember them prior to Evak.

Namo wants to be a prefect. I think to be in Chadok's good books, he's going to hurt Ayan to make him leave the school. Akk will save Ayan, thus breaking Chadok's hold on him.

I'm sure Chadok & Dika were together. I think Dika found out he was behind the curse. Chadok didn't want to stop so they broke up, and Dika commited suicide. As I said last week, I don't think Dika was forced to commit suicide. Ayan was looking for a scapegoat because he couldn't accept his uncle was suicidal.

From the 3rd Ep I never liked Akk, he is fake self righteous person with his priorities, needs, and poverty on…
Yeah, Akk is a villain: nobody ever wanted to succeed, to get a scholarship and to have a better life than their parents. Yeah, let's act like this teenager hasn't been manipulated and pressured by an adult for years...

I'm watching episode 1 and can't help wondering why this korean show looks so much like a Xianxia... It's unsettling.

- They fcked with us! I'm pissed lol. Luckily, they fixed it with KhanTua's kiss. That was so wholesome. But ngl, if I were Tua I would have snatched Khan's lips. My crush ain't gonna kiss me and I'm pretending to sleep lol. Always find it a bit unrealistic when they do that in series.
- They're playing too much with AyanAkk "will they, won't they" moments and the almost kiss cliffhangers. It's getting lame now. I swear if they don't kiss or confess their feelings next week I'm gonna take a flight and protest in front of GMMtv.
- People are complaining about the slow pace and the barely seen plot but it is there, we're watching it. To me, the curse was never the real plot, it's a pretext to cause change in our boys, allowing them to learn and grow through mistakes and introspection. I think the "who and why" isn't that important and the mystery can be resolved in 2 or 3 episodes. It wouldn't surprise me if we learned at the end there's no bad guy behind teacher Dika's death... I'm not getting impatient with the storyline progression because I'm enjoying watching the characters growth and development, especially Akk and Khan, and the excellent acting of the whole cast.

That NC scene... Rain becoming more proactive... my gosh... if the level of editing kept up with the level of…
I couldn't agree more. In my previous comment I said the scene only worked thanks to BossNoeul because honestly the editing was amateurish for all the reasons you highlighted. What a shame.

I've no complaint with ep6, it was good. First time I really liked PhayuRain. They were cute and affectionate, Rain acted maturely and was overall proactive. I got the feeling they were actual lovers who respect each other and not just a guy talking with condescension to his younger bf. I appreciate the relationship development.
The NC scene was good but tbh it only worked for me thanks to BossNoeul's great acting (the kisses and moans). I don't like how they wrapped them with the blanket. It removed the realistic feel. That's why I prefer suggestive shots of the upper bodies and legs movements to a wide shot with a blanket covering the actors. It's just a personal preference as an alumni of QAF US, KP and Pornographer NC school :-)

Hum, I don't know about that. She writes things that wouldn't fly in the community (no consent, no discussion of boundaries, no communication, no negotiation, no honesty...). To me, it's more likely she fetishizes the community but doesn't really know it. Just like E.L James and her bs with Fifty Shades of Grey.
Well, of course, one could argue she differentiates between life and fiction and chooses to write bs instead of her experience...

I couldn't agree more. Talking about kiss: KhaoFirst's kiss in The Eclipse was excellent. It wasn't passionate…
I see what you mean but chemistry and skinship aren't the same : you can have chemistry with your co-star and yet be uncomfortable with kisses and NC scenes. BrightWin had chemistry in 2gether but they gave us nothing. KristSingto has chemistry yet Krist is uncomfortable and it shows in some of their kisses.
In CLW, EarthMixx had many kisses with awkward positions yet they delivered each time, because they stay in character and don't shy away from skinship. They kiss with emotion. JimmySea aren't there yet.

Well, that was profoundly boring - except the ending, which was clever and not formulaic and predictable.I think…
I couldn't agree more. Talking about kiss: KhaoFirst's kiss in The Eclipse was excellent. It wasn't passionate or sexy but it gave all the right feels while staying consistent with the characters and their relationship at that point of the storyline. VV can't even do that. TalayPuen have been (unofficial) boyfriends for a year and they act like they're afraid to touch each other. The directing is definitely at fault but I also believe that actors who are really involved in their craft can do more than what they're asked to do. Had JimmySea been good actors, they would have kissed with more feelings even though their bodies weren't positioned the best way.

Oh! What did y’all think about the scene with Thua and his stepdad in the car? It seemed like he was saying…
I don't know either. Maybe it was to show the step father isn't that mean? He's rude and tactless, seems old school and doesn't know how to deal with a gay son, but he's not evil? Or to show Tua's mom told him to be nicer?

Imo, I feel we don't see her enough to grasp her motivation. We can see she's not convinced by the school rules but we don't have enough clues about her intentions. I find her a bit useless for now.
