I liked it, it was cute. I would have loved to see a real kiss in order to give a realistic feeling to their relationship. Since it's an older man/younger woman romance , we don't want to feel like the ML is her dad or uncle. However, that's what happened in the end because they didn't let them kiss for real, not even 2 years later when she came back from abroad. That's my only complaint.
begging jimmy to show an ounce of emotion , not to compare but if it was ohmnanon in that maze scene where they…
Without comparing him with OhmNanon, you can see he's just not good (yet). It's obvious. Unlike many of you I wasn't impressed with him in BB (except the fight scene but I believe because OhmNanon were explosive, he could aligned with their performance in this scene). So I'm not surprised he can't emote. But I hope he'll improve before the end of the series.
The true test of this show will be ep3 as it will be carried entirely by Jimmy Sea.No more bad buddy cameos, no…
"because I genuinely like them but found nothing much interesting in Talay and Puen's characters so far." That's because we got no characterization and backgrounds. They were so eager to explain this universe's rules they forgot to do the bare minimum of storytelling.
Seriously I think a lot of you complain because you somehow think it makes you sound smarter or cooler. Trust…
But you coming here to disparage people's comments isn't trying to sound smart or cool ? Especially when the majority of the comments are positive? Please. Good for you if you love this series right from the start but you don't get to police people's opinions and right to comment on this platform. Why don't you sit back, relax and enjoy the series and let everyone do what they want?
Lol The problem with series like this that requires the audience to use a little attention to follow the story, and…
Lol, no, don't make the series smarter than it is. The plot is basic, you don't need that much brain power. The issue is too much infodumping instead of showing us things happening. You can miss a lot of this universe's rules if you're not listen. You can criticize those who don't pay attention to the plot (and that's fair) but you should also admit the narrative choice is also at fault here.
I think they made a mistake casting Ohm, Nanon, Love and Milk. They remind people of Bad buddy and take away attention…
It's not really about OhmNanon. TessTun's storyline is more compelling than TalayPuen because unrequited love is always interesting and angsty, even more when the characters are friends : you want to see how this will change the relationship and you wonder if the feelings will eventually be reciprocated.
The story is pretty straightforward, however, the directing is really making it really awkward and annoying to…
I totally agree. On paper the story is good but I don't like the directing. For such a story, it lacks subtlety and mystery. Everything is too fast and "in your face". They didn't even take time to introduce Talay and Puen's backgrounds. Who is Puen? He's an actor but what else? It's like they're so enamored with their concept they're throwing at us all the rules of the alternative universe but they forget to set the adequate tone and pace to appreciate the characters.
im not one to make people sway from there decision but ''overuse of flashbacks'' name a k drama that doesn't dwell…
After 22 years of Kdrama I've been so annoyed with flashbacks these couple of years. My tolerance is so low I can drop a series just because of too much flashbacks. And the "what happened 5 minutes ago" scenes are ok with moderation. This narrative choice was very popular in 90's-20's action and detective movies/series. It doesn't give me "wow factor" anymore but it's ok. However it become stale when it's done 2 or 3 times per episode! I'm not saying this drama is bad. It just didn't meet my expectation and didn't hold my interest.
I don't know about OP but to me, their story is more interesting because it's an unrequited love and you wonder if Tess will eventually fall in love with Tun. It's pure BL fantasy lol.
I'm trying but I'm still not invested in what's going on... I'm more interested in Tess & Tun: I guess they're each other portkeys and I wonder if they'll end up together. I would have loved to see that story. Sea is very handsome and he's doing great so far. As for Jimmy, I hope he'll have more to do than being the handsome and mysterious guy... For now, I don't see the chemistry.
Hmm. I'm torn. I love the cast, and the premise is fine, but there are a few "items of concern". First, I don't…
"The characters aren't well-drawn - that might be part of it. What is Talay's character? Can you put it words?" This here is why I can't connect with the series. We don't know the characters, their backgrounds weren't established before they went to the alternative universe. So why shoud I care about them? I'm watching these characters constantly chatting about this and that but I'm not invested, they could be secondary characters it would be the same.
i know the main slayers toru and first's trailer hasnt come out yet but i feel like i get what their story is…
Totally agree with you. It seems all the pairings are real couples behind the scenes. In ToruFirst's storyline, Toru has a wife. This was the opportunity to show how the fans' behavior cause troubles to his marriage. Or maybe delulu fans will be discussed through Talay and Muse' characters? They've been doing interviews with BillySeng but I don't know their storyline.
Started episode 8 now. Can I just say that the village chief is an a*hole for not telling the hospital to Fah…
Don't you know ? The chief village is actually a muppet. Sincere is the real boss and Prince's husband. That's why the chief village had no choice but to obey him...
You are right about the last two episodes. Episode 7 had me laughing at how ridiculous it was, and 8 was just…
Your comment made me laugh. I agree there was no chemistry. The two were quite awkward together, but I think it came from Mark. He doesn't emote well, always the same facial expression. Poor Mek had nothing to work with lol.
From what i learned the kids chose their nicknames themselves so for example :Mek Jirakit ThawornwongNickname…
Actually, they usually get their nickname from their parents. Once they're older they can change it, either because they don't like it or for work reasons.
What the fck was that finale episode ?! Did they think they were making ATOTS? The conflict wasn't bad to justify Fah ghosting Prince for a month! It totally cheapened the love story. Why would Fah listen to Sincere ? Who the fck is Sincere?! Why Prince can't date a doctor? Is he a damsel in distress who need constant supervision? Ridiculous. He never did or said anything to make Fah believe he wasn't happy with him. And this whole confession during the school event was cringe asf. Besides the rubbish script, I didn't care for Prince's characterization: he was portrayed as a young maiden incapable of expressing his interest in Fah and taking the lead in the relationship while expecting Fah to do all the work. If I wanted to see a MF story I could have watched something else... The last 2 episodes completely sunk the series, which imo wasn't that good.
Just pointing out that Talay meeting Puem on the airport wasn't a coincidence, he and his friends went there purposely…
Talay's friend wanted to see Puen at the airport because she's his fan but why did she bring Talay with her? What was the point if not to create the bathroom encounter? Same for Talay being asked by his friend to be an extra in Puen's movie. We're supposed to believe his friend had no other extras in the studio that day? Yeah, of course... It was coincidence after coincidence. In itself, it isn't bad and sometimes you need a coincidence to move the plot forward but it quite bothered in Vice Versa because it happened in a very short period of time (like the first 10min).
That's because we got no characterization and backgrounds. They were so eager to explain this universe's rules they forgot to do the bare minimum of storytelling.
