Two things I got from this season : - Some viewers equate angst with quality. Give them 8 episodes of inconsistent, repetitive and messy doom and gloom and they'll eat it up gladly because "it's angsty and realistic"... Even though the outcome is far from realistic and provides no relevant lesson. I mean, I believe a character should go to therapy when their insecurities affect their love life and leave them depressed; same expectation for a character who's being clingy to their verbally abusive ex-lover because of their abandonment issues. They both should seek professional help in order to heal from their past traumas so this fuc*ed up situation would never happen again. In real life, a romance with two individuals like SJ and JW wouldn't work for long. There's a real unbalance power dynamic in their relationship that I wanted to see discussed and worked out properly. But well, we shouldn't complained since they kissed and resolved a year and a half painful mess in 2 minutes. Everything is good and the series is a masterpiece! *sarcasm*
- Some viewers love making excuses for their beloved fictional character when they wouldn't even tolerate their shitty behaviour in real life (at least I hope so). But we shouldn't point out the problematic things JW said repeatedly to SJ and never apologized for since he was hurting too...
South Korea dramas really have a chokehold on people minds. Even their below-average productions get praises. I can bet the reception would have been different had it been a western, thai or chinese drama: people would have called out JW toxic behaviour, would have criticized the choppy editing and the messy plot.
Well, at least the comments section was more entertaining than the series itself.
People who only expected to see fluff are the ones that got disappointed but those of us are here for the storytelling…
Lol please, no. Let's not assume disappointed fans just wanted fluff and are incapable of intelligent and unbiased thinking. That's ridiculous to say since we got 40min of fluff at the end but still didn't care for it. We don't like this season because the script is weak and frustrating. It tried to be smart and artsy but lack coherence. But apparently for some people, angst = quality... The actors deserved better.
Tim was the jerk for breaking MekKim and using his connection to be paired to Kim. He deserved that! He was an…
MekKim isn't a real thing so Tim trying to be paired with Kim isn't a crime. It's not like he's trying to break up a real couple. You don't deserve to die because you're a jerk. Mek didn't know Tim was allergic to fish sauce but that's not an excuse: because you don't know what allergies people can have you should never play with their food. That's basic knowledge. Mek could have done any prank but this one.

You're a gem! Your analysis are always beautiful. I appreciate you don't compare series VP to the novel and just focus on interpreting what you see. I love reading you.
They better give us VEGASPETE special .... Their story is much more than this... It's all thanks to Bible/Build…
I didn't read the novel but I understand perfectly their story in KP because it stands on its own. VP actions are logical because they gave us enough background and you have to be able to read between the lines. Not everything has to be spelled out.
Mek has the brain of a 12 years old, unable to understang his pranks hurt people. I hope they'll show the fall out from his action because this time it's serious, he endangered someone's life! I wouldn't forgive him so quickly if I were Kimhan. The series is watchable but it could have been so much better with good actors (Earth is the only one with tolerable acting). I can't get into the cute scene because they don't have chemistry, I can't get into the serious scenes because they don't act well, they just read out their lines. It's a shame. I believe you can do a fluffy and silly story and still aim for quality acting. Take Secret Crush On You for example. It's an over the top crazy and funny series that doesn't take itself seriously but it's great because the guys can act! Seng (Toh) and Billy (Nuea) acting is great and their chemistry is amazing; the entire cast has done good with their respective character. They're put into ridiculous situations but you're still into it because they can sell it. The problem with My Secret Love isn't the stupid plot but the subpar acting.
Boring episode. I skipped 50%. Prince's attitude was frustrating, there was no need for conflict. Fah gave an explanation, Prince should have said "I believe you but I'm feeling insecure because I don't know where we stand." It would have saved us from 45min of nonsense. Fah's declaration was cute though. What I don't care is KluenDao's random scenes. They had their series to show them romantic and cute but they didn't, so now isn't the time to compensate.
You have to be a moron or a 3rd grade kid if you answer people's comments with "write your own story". Also, you think calling someone a moron is the same as throwing racial slurs ? That tells a lot about your level of intelligence...
You think you're being smart throwing racial slurs in tagalog but you're just proving your lack of intelligence. Your life means nothing so you seek thrill by antagonizing people online. Pathetic.
Wasn't it during an interview Apo joked about Mile sitting with his legs opened ? Wasn't it last year? Man, people are such losers to dig old stuff and make drama from it.
The more I watch the VP's sex scene the more I love it. At first I tought it was quite tame, it lacked moaning (I stand by this point) and roughness. But now I'm saying it's a daring and beautiful scene. Usually we would get a shot of a naked guy taking his lover from behind, such as KP in ep 4 or BX and ZG in MODC. But for VP we got Vegas kissing and grabbing Pete's ass, implying he tossed his salad; Pete being so into the moment he licked his own arm; the missionary position from Pete's pov, which is a hot and unusual shot and finally Pete's pained expression while being dicked. This whole scene is about details. That, my friends, is a gift!
