The idea was interesting but the execution wasn't good. 10 episodes of 14min don't allow much in terms of character and storyline development. I still don't know what they were thinking when they decide to produce it.

Title Why R U?
What people fail to understand is Zon and Sai aren't the main couple
But you're wrong: according to the director SaifahZon & FighterTutor are the main couples. He said it himself. That's why fans are disappointed with the screentime of SaiZon, they feel they were lied to.

Both SaifahZon and FighterTutor were supposed to be main couples. I could deal with that even though I don't care about SaintZee. But now I've noticed they're having more screentime than JimmyTommy which isn't fair. I don't care that Saint is more popular than the other guys, I even understand why SaintZee is more on the spotlight during promo events. But I do want an equal amount of screentime for the two couples so their respective storylines can be fully developed and appreciated. I love SaiZon and I don't like to see them relegated to secondary couple.

As a guy who has watched sooo many bl series already this series is great. People are complaining about how annoying…
I couldn't agree more about SaiZon deserving more screentime and promo! Honestly, I'm only watching WRU for SaiZon and JimmyTommy. I'm not fond of Fighter character so I can't get into the FighterTutor storyline.

I personally don’t understand the problem people have with zon and saifah in this episode if your asking when…
I agree Fighter isn't a good character. He's a manipulative liar who has no idea what personal space is. Being in the closet doesn't give the right to treat people like trash. I don't like him so I don't care about his romance with Tutor. Their story isn't more realistic than SaifahZon: who would have tolerated Fighter's awful behavior after almost two years?! Stalking Tutor, talking in Tutor's face, treating HwaHwa like trash...

Plus Zon is not really in an alternative bl world if I understand right, he is just overthinking about it and…
We're supposed to believe he's in an alternate reality because we got TharnType and TeeFuse cameo. If he's not in another reality it means MIR, TTTS and Why R U all share the same universe.

Episode 2 was better. ZonSaifah are my favourite! While TutorFighter is the angst couple, ZonSaifah is the comic relief couple. Their interactions are so cute and funny. They're doing a great job. I really hope they'll have as many scenes as TutorFighter.
TharnType and TeeFuse cameo were awesome! It reinforce the narrative that Zon is in a BL fiction. I love how they stayed true to the characters (Type always the jealous guy and Tharn knowing how to charm and calm him down; TeeFuse reenacting one of their famous scene in MIR).
I could do without all the extra characters. The show spend to many minutes on them: the guy with his lolipop (who is he?!), HwaHwa's friend talking about Fighter's penis, and also Zon not so funny friends!
Honestly I'm liking this series way too much after only 2 episodes lol. I had no expectations. At all. For months I didn't even watch trailers because I wasn't interested in the storyline. But being the BL trash that I am, I found myself watching this. And I'm glad because it's light, it's fun and it helps me relax after a tiring work week.

So I'm guessing that Zon hasn't actually been thrown into a fictional BL world, he just is noticing these couples…
Yes, I agree about the kiss. Just like the scene when they were lightening the candles; all of a sudden Fighter starts to flirt with Tutor. It came out of nowhere.

Yes I've the same theory: Fighter liked Tutor from the start but couldn't admit it. Thinking that Tutor and HwaHwa were too close and might become an item, he «stole» her from Tutor. But I have the feeling HwaHwa has been aware of it for a while and that's why she wants them to become close.

They started teasing each other, liking each other when suddendly Fighter started to go out with Hwahwa. I guess Tutor was disappointed because he liked Fighter. He became cold to him as a defense mechanism. You can see Fighter is hurt by Tutor behavior. My theory is that he liked Tutor from the start but couldn't admit it. Thinking that Tutor and HwaHwa were too close and might become an item, he «stole» her from Tutor. So now they're stuck in faux hate relationship until Fighter grows a pair and confess.

That's so obvious Fighter likes Tutor lol. That's why it's baffling he chose to go out with HwaHwa! My theory is that he likes Tutor but couldn't admit it. Thinking that Tutor and HwaHwa were too close and might become an item, he «stole» her from Tutor. So now they're stuck in a faux hate relationship until Fighter grows a pair and confess.

I agree Tommy is awesome! Very natural acting. I also prefer ZonSaifah pairing, they're so funny! TutorFighter is more like the angst couple of the series, and ZonSaifah is the comic relief couple.

They don't hate each other for real. They started teasing each other, liking each other when suddendly Fighter started to go out with Hwahwa. I guess Tutor was disappointed because he liked Fighter. He became cold to him and Fighter reciprocated. You can see Fighter is hurt by Tutor behavior. My theory about Fighter is that he liked Tutor from the start but couldn't admit it. Thinking that Tutor and HwaHwa were too close and might become an item, he «stole» her from Tutor. "You look to old to be thinking of something so ridiculous and childish." Didn't you write this? You started with the rudeness and now you want to play the victim? Next time, try asking politely why someone thinks in a certain way instead of telling them their opinion is ridiculous and childish. And by not reading my answer you just prove you're a kid.

What's wrong with adding straight couples? Don't you know a thing about diversity?? They also add gay couples…
Please, shut up. Am I your friend for you to patronize me?
Diversity is welcome but not if the straight couples have more airing time than the main gay couple, as it was in Waterboyy.
I'm old enough to have seen many thai series so I do know not all of them have gay couples as secondary couple. Don't make a generality just because for the past years there has been a trend of adding a gay bestfriend or a side gay couple.
Too often they add straight couples in BL series to cater to all kind of viewers. Some production companies even said adding a straight storyline is mandatory in order to fund the series. So it's not even a question of diversity, don't be naive. Yet, having gay couples in straight series isn't automatic. So why should it be for BL?
Try counting how many thai BL series there are with only gay leads? Not that many, you'll see. However, a series like TharnType is a great exemple proving that series with only gay leads can be as interesting, successful and loved by all kind of viewers, as straight romance.
