MDL is slowly going AllKPoop style. Glad there still ppl here though to point out inaccuracies and exaggerations and questioning uncertain things that are presented as facts.
Just finished watching this brilliant game show. My favourite one is Dong Joo. She is really a brainy woman. Hope…
Unlike most of those in Orbit's team, Seok Jin, Dong Jae, Si Won and Guillaume actually pulled their weight in the games. The reason the producers were flustered with so many members in the poker game was because the entire show was designed to eliminate those who did not have the smarts to figure out and win the games on their own intelligence; the prison, the design of the pieces and the final game underlines this. There was never any means of "winning with everybody".
The issue most ppl have with Orbit is that he undermined the whole idea of the game — and for what? Since the game was designed to crown the winner not because of luck, but for their wit and intelligence, it was completely useless to sacrifice those who actually use their intelligence for the sake of those coasting along. As Si Won pointed out — was it really because he wanted everyone to win, or was it simply to end with those who aren't on par with his intelligence, so he can eliminate them more easily in the last rounds?
That said, there's this whole villifying "the top dogs", a propaganda promoted mainly by Orbit and Dong Joo. It's not only tasteless in an intelligence themed show, but it pointed out even more the duplicity of Orbit's "noble" intentions. This isn't The Real Housewives, for heaven's sake.
Seok Jin, Si Won, Dong Jae and Guillaume were teammates but were never overly dependent on each other. As Seok Jin pointed out when Yoo Min was finally eliminated: this is how the game should've been all along — those with the wit and mind that match the games to compete with each other.
And honestly, the one with biggest ego here was the one displaying this weird hero-complex, which is really out of place in this setting. As well as the ones on his tailcoats who wanted to be in the finals despite knowing they don't have what it takes to match the games, but were lucky enough to have someone around willing to play messiah.

Look, you and I — we both have completely different outlook on life. Threatening isn't the only way one harms another, just as physical violence isn't the only form of bullying. One's own words and deeds can mean nothing to themselves; the same words and deeds can hurt another deeply. You can scar a person for life or at least, for a long time, not because you wanted to, but simply because you can't take back what you said or did. Really, who's to say they haven't harmed anybody simply because they weren't aware of it? I once let my temper get the best of me when I was a teen and fought back. Did I harm others? Yes. Do I regret it now? Yes, that was immature and inexcusable. Does it merit me losing my job now? Thankfully, no. I also wouldn't want people to judge me now by the way I acted stupidly and impulsively back then.
The media, especially the entertainment, promotes a black and white outlook on life and often oversimplify the people they publish about. My point is, not all mistakes (even if it harmed others) merit a person losing a prestigious job or having the rest of the world condemn it.
And honestly, I don't feel we have a big picture of what has happened. If you're talking about Sportskeeda's latest news on Kim Hieora, I have to say, that's recycled from AKP. So nothing new there. Some people need hard evidence to prove her innocence. That's their choice. When it comes this story, I'm someone who needs more evidence to prove she's as guilty as Dispatch claims. The 6 o'clock news is sometimes littered with inaccurary and distortion; entertainment news even more. Allegations that happened in the past also took months before it was proven false. In the meantime, everything that could "support" the allegations were published. Therefore, I'll wait until there are more things published on this.
Why? How is this different to weak hero class? And what is bad about making it look bl? LolEdit: u ignored me so…
To each their own preference. BL isn't my cup of tea either, so I dislike it when people try to make a regular friendship look like GL or BL, just as much as how some ppl try to make Do Joon and Hyun Min's relationship look like more in Reborn Rich 🤷🏻♀️

I value and respect your opinion.
We have all harmed ppl at some point or another in our life, so my question is whether it's as bad as Dispatch make it out to be so that she needs to quit her job. I have no need for contact with my bullies from school; still, I don't think all of them were bad people who don't deserve prestigious jobs or just good things in life. They're probably completely different people by now. (At least, I hope so.)
To be fair, I used to believe about every rumour I heard and passed them on until I got accused for something I had absolutely no part of, by none other than the teachers. Pretty hard lesson I learned there, lol. But it taught me to tread carefully before believing the way people, in particular tabloids, make things out to be, especially when it's damaging the reputation of the person in question. And if it's as bad as they reported it, then indeed, there are consequences.

Actually, I have questions about that. AKP is at this moment unfortunately the only place I've read that and the article was written by Sophie Ha. Context and accuracy isn't their priority, so I'm waiting till more stories to come out.
But to your questions, no. But then again, when some girls at school came and told me This and That wanted to "talk" to me, I didn't want to go. I did eventually go out of fear, not because of the girls that were sent to me, rather of the girls who sent them off. Did I consider the errand girls bullies? Personally, as much as I hated them back then, no. I knew that if they weren't in that role, they'd be in the same place as I.
Now, I'm not making a claim that this is exactly the same situation as Kim Hieora. I'm just waiting for more to be revealed because honestly, I'd rather be disappointed in believing in someone's innocence than be one of the people who jump on the hate-train the moment a rumour starts.

We're both interpreting this conversation differently 🤷🏻♀️ many ppl are.
First time I read the transcript, the "victim" sounded similar to ppl I've known to provoke and manipulate conversations in a way where they can get a certain reaction from the other person as to make that person look bad. And I tend to be catty and cautious about what I share as well when I sense someone's talking to me with ulterior motives. But, that's just be me. Time will reveal what had been going on. I just know that damages can't be undone even when someone's proven innocent.
There is a transcript of a phone conversation she had with one of the victim and she admitted to hitting her multiple…
Yes, I’ve also read that it is incomplete and heavily edited and that her agency will be releasing the complete transcript. I’ll wait out for that ‘cause it ain’t the first time someone was damaged because of a heavily edited phonecall leak

There’ll be a court case on this situation, so I’m curious how this will further unfold.
In the mean time, let’s not forget cases like Kim Seon-Ho and Kim Garam also happened.
