Still on the first ep, but *sigh*... Soju really should be something you should stay off when you're depressed. It can intensify your anxiety and depression.
Honestly, I found her acting on Snowdrop not that bad. Sure, it wasn't outstanding, but as a first drama she did…
I once read that it is important not to outshine the main actor/actress too much, to adapt your level of acting to them, so that their bad/mediocre acting doesn't become too obvious and the scenes with them are more balanced. (And probably a lot easier to edit.)
what kind of demons was he fighting to buy so many sleeping pills?why are we hell bent on punishing the people…
I know right? Like it wasn't enough already that he had to go through extreme measures to deal with whatever he had going on inside him. Honestly, I think those who are quick to criticize, punish, throw coffee on a person before it was even concluded he isn't a criminal must have a crappy life themselves.
She pulled off her complex role as a person suffering from mental health issues in an amazing way in Daily Dose of Sunshine. It was not cringy and felt so natural and relatable. I was really impressed, so I really recommend it. (Just a heads up, it's not a light-hearted drama though.)
Honestly, the fact that SHK and HSH rejected it, and now Kim Jiwon too makes it even more suspicious. It's not…
Don't forget the fact that two outstanding directors also have backed out this project. It makes me even more curious about what on earth is going on behind the scenes of this drama. Is it the script, the writer or the production team? At any case, it feels like someone isn't doing their job well.
I feel like Dispatch for some reason loves targeting female celebs. They make remarkable effort to clear some…
Can't remember that one, but I do remember how they were as silent as a mouse when it came to Garam's case but did loads of effort to clear Nam Joo Hyuk's name. Both the same case, both innocent, one's carreer suffered and the other could continue growing.
Dispatch trying to ruin and targeting Park Min Young again!! PMY should sue dispatch.
I feel like Dispatch for some reason loves targeting female celebs. They make remarkable effort to clear some celebs names though — male celebs, that is.
Love Lee Je Hoon's Daesang speech, especially the last part. As well as Park Sung Woong dedicating his award to Lee Sun Kyun. Also Hwasa's LMM performance 🫶 It was so moving. I love how she changed her performance last minute to pay a tribute to Lee Sun Kyun.
Sometimes I really wonder what kind of lives ppl must lead to demand or expect apologies for something that went on in another person's personal life... It's a wonderful world out there — go out, breathe some fresh air and touch some grass.
1. Last time I had been reading a Dispatch article on Allkpop, someone in the comments section who was fluent in Korean, was correcting certain things in the article. Professional journalism doesn't exist on that website, even if it's just translating a Korean article to English. Anybody can basically write an article on that site.
2. Before I can question whether I have all the facts, I question the source of my info whether they contain actual facts. Our perception on our own facts will depend on the source where we gather info from.
3. The difference between netizens cancelling SK celebs and netizens canceling US celebs is that when it happens, SK celebs' career are usually over — no matter how talented they are. The pressure put on Korean celebs is ridiculously heavy, and that fact is proven by the amount of celeb suicides the past years. Yes, netizens are netizens, but their online opinion, especially their hate, hold sway over a celeb's career and sometimes even over their mental health.
(4. Just a suggestion, and I'm not trying to be a grammar police here, but your lack of capital letters at the start of your sentences makes your paragraphs really hard to read.)
But allkpop isn't the best and most reliable source of info, too. Redditors on the kpop subforum have been trying to ban allkpop as a source of info for reasons as exaggerated and even false news, tainting celebs' reputations without clear evidence. It's been a long time since I've been on the site, but I wouldn't be surprised if allkpop had published articles inciting hate towards Lee Sun Kyun while the case was still going on (plus the toxic comments underneath the articles). They did that to other accused celebs who were later revealed to be innocent. Allkpop incites to bullying and antagonizing celebs.
Dong Joo was also one of my favs. She understood the game on a different level as most other players. She pointed…
I must point out though, the reason the majority did not trust Si Won and Dong Jae is because they were immediately villified after playing the role of fanatic and terrorist in the first game. That game was over and yet Orbit & co continued to act and promote the idea that they were still playing those roles. Which was just absurd. I wouldn't say Si Won had a bad social game — rather, Orbit had grabbed the best timing to spread "the top dogs are villains"-propaganda. It's cunning, but it's tasteless. And seeing Dong Joo and Joon bin support that, was distasteful as well tbh.
Here's another take: if those who were coasting along and constantly looking at Orbit for "What are we going to do?" would've been the first to be eliminated, I'm pretty sure the latter games would've been a lot more intense. It would've been more interesting to watch the different perspectives of good players on how to play the games rather than watching ppl asking Orbit what to do. Keeping those players honestly undermined some of the games. (Park Kyung Lim should've been eliminated a lot earlier. It bothered me that she played some games without thinking things through and just proceeded to play the game show with tad of nepotism smh)
Just started on this drama, but I must say I was taken aback when Samdal's assistant came into scene in ep1. I almost thought Song Hye Kyo was doing a cameo. Not just her face (eyes and thick lips), but especially because her clothing immediately reminded me SHK's demin vest + over the shoulder striped sweater combi in Now We Are Breaking Up
Am I the only one who often confuses Lee Jae Wook and Yoon Hyeon Min with each other? Like, I had to search who played what in the past to figure out who it is playing in Death's game this time.
Ultraviolet rays is also a carcinogen, but only becomes a real danger in longtime exposure without necessary protection.
Honestly, I think those who are quick to criticize, punish, throw coffee on a person before it was even concluded he isn't a criminal must have a crappy life themselves.
let's leave this comment section, I don't feel so good commenting under this tabloid artikel and letting gain more recognition
