Why shouldn't she? What does the difference really tell you? Her words didn't change. Since so many ppl stood up for her it's likely she realized there was no need to explain herself 'cause explaining yourself when ppl are determined to believe you're guilty won't help anyways.
What should be the consequences for something she did when she was a teenager? Never work again? Be punished for…
I'm sorry to hear you had to go through that ordeal, too. You're right, it's a sensitive topic. No person has any excuse to hurt another person and no one should have to go through a traumatic experience in life. Still, as I believe everyone should have the opportunity to change, I think age and mental health, aside from the severity of the bullying, should also be taken into account.
I don't have the right to tell another person what they should do with their pain, that's really for them to decide. I would just like to say, I've been in that other place, too and looking back, I realised only afterwards how unhappy that made me. It's really true that whatever a person is carrying, this will eventually influence their life on so many aspects, particularly in relationships. Personally, I'm happier and healthier being free from all that; I feel like my life is my very own now. After all, this world has so much more to offer than a few ppl who aren't even that important to me — why waste my life further on thoughts of them?
Every course in life has a certain price and I think it'll only benefit us when we once in a while examine whether the price we pay is really worth it. We live in an unfair world with so many things beyond our control and we can't let that define our happiness.
Cheers, mate, hope you're in a better place as well.

Hmm, although I agree with you here that if the bullying is severe, they should be punished. However, speaking as someone who was a victim of bullying as a teen, I’m really not the same person as I used to be 20 years ago and I also don’t expect those who bullied to be the same people they used to be. I was only able to heal and grow because I also grew out of my victim mentality. I’m not condoning and excusing bullying. However, I did learn that although you have no control on how others treat you, you can make a choice whether you allow it to define you. Just my experience, but I’ve learned with the right assistance and support, I do not need to carry my past for life. We all gonna meet nasty ppl after school, so growing isn’t just learning how to deal with them, it’s also getting the right help for yourself and learning not to let your trauma define your life by freezing yourself and others in the past. Healing and moving on isn’t just a progress; it’s also a choice and with the right help, you can make that choice.
Why would you even write & delete ur statement if you cant stand behind your words after only short while?...…
- Both Kim Hieora and her agency have always denied the bullying rumours.
- She never denied being part of Big Sanji, but that isn’t a bullying group or a gang or a friends group. That’s a rumour taken out of context and blown out of proportion.
- She said that although she did not bully anyone, she did make mistakes as a 15 year old. (Who on earth doesn’t look back at their teens with some regret and shame? Whether you bullied or not, nobody had a clue what they were doing at that age. We were all just trying to survive a jungle called school.)
- She said in her statement that because she never viewed herself as a bully, she was shocked that others (who accused her) view her that way. But she never admitted bullying anyone. She did admit she might have had an intimidating aura and that her classmates looked up to her. Her schoolmate who defended her said that she was popular and made it clear in her post that her classmates respected her. (Think back on the popular kids in your middle/high school, doesn’t that sound familiar?)
Nothing changed here, as far as I’ve noticed.
So if you’re looking for your source of smoke, it might not be fire — just someone blowing an e-sigaret in someone’s face, so to speak, lol
Apparently yeah you all are still kids here, because you're all either attacking her or defending her, when none…
Yeah, I’ve been in so many forums since I was younger, so I can easily recognise when someone’s trying to troll me. Three tell-tale signs: 1) twisting words, 2) use of “sophisticated” words (which in itself is alright, just to clarify ) 3) double standards. Best thing to do is to walk away unless you’ve got enough time and energy at hand to spiral down a never-ending argument over - surprise, surprise - words XD

In that case, since you are speculating what I (or we) are implying, welcome to the club then. Thinking you are no different from the irrational and childish group you’re addressing is mind-blowing.
And since you’re twisting some my words and making it to whatever you like, fine, allow me to shut down my conversation with you. Because whatever you think impartiality and rationality is, sorry to break it to you, but this ain’t it.
You guys know that this bullying rumours have been blown out of proportion, right? The "bullying" group they talk about, called Big Sanji, isn't a group of bullies. That's been debunked. If a minority of kids in your after-school activities are bullies, does that make you a bully too just 'cause you're unfortunate enough to be in the same group? Dang, we must be all be screwed cuz almost all of us would be bullies. And be honest to yourself: have you never ever been a bystander? Even bully victims have been bystander. Why? Cause we were kids and we're all scared we'd be the next target. Get over yourself.
Also, as one of her schoolmates testified, she wasn't a bully - she was popular. That's a huge difference there and I can't help but feel like these rumours stem from envy and jelousy.
And even though being bullied is no light subject, does that make it alright to try to destroy the reputation and carreer of someone who has nothing to do with it? Honestly, that makes the "victim" as bad as the "bully". If I'm hurt, does that give me a free pass to just hurt anybody?
And please learn to separate fiction from reality — just because an actress plays a certain role, doesn't mean she is that role. Sheesh, are we still all kids here?
Am I the only one bothered with grammatically incorrect English titles nowadays? What does King the Land even supposed to mean? Why not King of the Land, or Rule the Land, or even just King Land...
"an overwhelming sense of self-consciousness, who looks down on everyone" probably was meant to be "self-confident", otherwise that'd be some weird self-consciousness going on there XD
Thanks for expounding the situation! Still, she indeed got it worse than it is because of the timing.Where I live…
The difference in viewpoints is interesting. Someone having to publicly apologise makes it look like a huge controversy. But if it wasn't actually that big of a deal over there, good for her! And a big thanks for clarifying matters. Honestly, this article should just be in Allkpop; I thought her job was at risk or something, the way this "issue" looks like.

Where I live in Europe, if someone makes a request which seems crazy to us, we just laugh at them and move on and leave it to other crazies who wants to do it. So this "controversy" really seems out of the world, even with this background info.
Btw, I don't know who hurt you, but it ain't healthy to feed your anger. Peace out, man ✌️

The plot seems really interesting and the casting is 🤌✨
