There's a YouTube vid by a Korean girl who explained what "bullying" is like in Korea, that it's on a whole other level and, because of that, it causes public outrage when a public figure is accused of being a bully in the past.

Just noted that HDY is the only one with dead white flowers on his poster. And the last ep made us curious what role HDY will actually play in the second season. Also, he's not just a side character — the cast list shows he's one of the main characters.

Has anyone noticed that on the Netflix posters of each character, everyone has either white trumpet flowers pointing upwards or yellow trumpet flowers pointing downwards, but only Ha Do Young has withered white trumpet flowers decorating his poster.

Honestly, I was fascinated with the way each character revealed more and more about the person they are as Dong Eun's revenge plan gradually progressed, including Dong Eun herself.

Nah, I disagree, whenever I think of revenge, I think about how long it'd take to plan it meticulously and finally put it into action, even more so when it has more than one target. The way Dong Eun goes about in season 1 planning and plotting revengen and very gradually putting it into action, is really thought through. It's more realistic than most revenge schemes that is often fast paced and rely more on luck.

I've just listened to Vivaldi's Four Seasons: Winter before watching this and I kept thinking how the track would fit the drama

I skipped those parts honestly

A lot of these bullies, if not all, are kids in need of mental health services/guidance. But mental health in South Korea is really poor, depression is pretty much ignored or suppressed, and in general, knowledge on how to manage negative emotions is lacking. And all of this amidst a demanding and competitive society. So yeah, hence, lots of bullying.

That was excellent acting, every one of them. I really liked Cha Joo Young's characters in Again My Life and Chimera, and Kim Hi Ae Ra's role in Extraordinary Attorney Woo made me root for her — but in this drama, they made me forget all of that. Great story, great acting! I'm looking forward to S2 in February!

Scrolling through the comments, I think 1 out of 10 liked the ending

I loved Jung Sung Il in Strangers 2. Despite having only a small support role there, he definitely caught my attention. I feel rather excited to see him play a bigger role here.
And Cha Joo Young was great in Again My Life and Chimera 🫶

Whenever I read the first sentence of the summary, I feel so irked, like did they just Google translated that summary? Honestly feel that starting such a potentially great drama with "It's a sad revenge story" feels so lame and I know a few people who were put off just by this description. "A dramatic revenge story" or "A dramatic story of revenge of a woman whose dreams were shattered etc..." would've come down to the same thing and would sound a tad more intriguing.

To be fair, two months is quite a short wait. Especially in comparison to the time it takes to produce a good drama
