Who does the sister end up with? Youda? I’m only on episode 17 but I really hope she doesn’t end up with either…
Okay so there are times when I do like Youda but then he gets annoying again. The childhood friend? Yeah NO. I just started episode 19 and that kind of calculated manipulation to get what you want and completely disregarding the other person’s clearly stated feeling is flat out disgusting to me. He’s a hard NO.
Who does the sister end up with? Youda? I’m only on episode 17 but I really hope she doesn’t end up with either guy tbh. Youda’s good for her in many ways but so darn annoying. He makes her laugh which is good but a lot of his behavior could get really annoying with time even if she thinks it’s cute now. The childhood friend - just no. He doesn’t seem to really get her at all so he has no clue what she really needs.
She was already over her first crush before she started having feelings for the ML. Very much so. So ML wasn’t her 2nd choice. He was just the next guy she liked. That’s as normal as you get. She didn’t get with him just because the other guy liked her sister. She was even rooting for him and her sister to get together.
I’m on ep. 18 rn I absolutely adore the lead couple. I could care less about a lot of the other characters tbh.…
I’m only on ep 17 but I actually don’t like either guy for the sister. One’s the guy who’s known her for so long that he feels he’ll definitely get her (he’d actually be the antagonist in other dramas tbh) and the other is way too annoying and childish. Yes he has more depth to him than the childhood friend, who thinks he really knows her but actually doesn’t. Yes he’s what she’d need to break her out of that she’ll she’s living in but at the end of it he’s just too immature and annoying! They could have made his character less annoying. It wasn’t cute.
On ep 21 now and all the couples are cute except the pair of psycho stalkers. I still don’t like Xin Er at all…
Good lord and now the guy who clearly works for 3rd brother also works with psycho aunt? And that evil witch is definitely psycho. If I’m following this correctly, she made he current husband who had been with her FRIEND at the time, believe that said friend had cheated on him and that their daughter wasn’t hers. That same ‘friend’ ended up killing herself while psycho bitch married that piece of shit man (they deserve each other for the way he treated both that woman and her damn daughter).
Is she manipulating 3rd brother now too? Or are they somehow working together…oh! Because he’s wanted her daughter of course he’d work with her! What a bunch of sick 🤬
So I just finished episode 18 and I get that we’re supposed to be feeding into this idea that XinEr is finally…
On ep 21 now and all the couples are cute except the pair of psycho stalkers. I still don’t like Xin Er at all and 3rd brother is right about them being the same. In addition to being even more of a stalker than he is, I’m starting to suspect more and more that everything’s not right with him. The president dude who stole the information from New away got into the car of the same guy who’s apparently been following Xin Er. And that guy didn’t call the aunt after speaking to the president dude in the car. He called a man. And since he’s the one who also called Ling Sheng to the gym it’s clear now that he’s somehow involved in the recent issues with both the Ling and Gu businesses…which… is he trying to destroy them both? And then we have that crazy aunt who happens to be Xin Er’s mother and who seems to like him with her daughter. But WHY? Why wouldn’t she prefer her yo be with Ling Yue whom she clearly wanted to be with all along. The families aren’t close so how does she even really know him.
So I just finished episode 18 and I get that we’re supposed to be feeding into this idea that XinEr is finally starting to like 3rd brother (but fight it of course) but here’s my issue. Not once has she been interested in getting to know him - his interests, etc.. She likes that he’s devoted to her and always at her beck and call, and she likes that he’s choosing her despite other hot, classy and successful women clearly being into him. Although with his stalker-ish tendencies I wouldn’t put it past him to have been planting these women just to make her jealous - it’s just too convenient in my opinion.
Anyway, he idea of love is extremely flawed. Which I guess is in line with all of the Gu’s.
Those Gu’s are all effed up. All of ‘em. FL doesn’t count since they don’t claim or recognize her and as far as I’m concerned she’s 100% her mother’s not her disgusting ‘father’.
I haven’t liked Gu Ansheng all along either. It’s one thing to be close siblings. It’s entirely another to be that handsy with a ‘sibling’ especially as adults and even more so when they’re not even blood related. AND even MORE so when being handsy isn’t a part of that culture!
Even close orphan sibling don’t behave like he did with FL.
My goodness! When that disgusting paparazzi guy approached Mo Mo I swear I forgot this was a drama. I was ready to run yelling and throwing my shoes at him. He was totally behaving like a creepy child molester! What in hell were those other parents and teachers doing? And the level of invasion of privacy! Wow! Someone PLEASE tell me paparazzi aren’t like this in real life - ANYWHERE!
Zhang Xin Cheng is seriously one of the most talented Chinese actors out there. In terms of pure acting skill I honestly can’t think of someone on equal level right now but I’m sure I must be forgetting someone. I’ve watched him in so many dramas including the ones where he was a lot younger. His talent and skill just continue to grow with time. The RANGE of his acting skills is top notch. He’s Hollywood A-List quality. Every time I see him in something new he blows my mind all over again. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been just floored by his acting!
Pls spoil me. Did they broke up if yes when did they get back together what ep??
They gave each other “space” for a little while but were clear on the point that they didn’t want to break up. Everything resolved in the same episode.
So I still have episode 16 left (I've been waiting to watch it since I'm not ready to finish it, especially after…
Did you ever watch the last episode? What’s your take on it? I’m curious. I haven’t started this drama and tend to not rely on the comments but I’m trying to decide if it’s worth my time. I hate sad endings (just not my thing) but I’m still curious about this one.

I haven’t quite got this figured out yet…
