You know. We hear and talk about stars’ private lives in the West too. The difference is companies can’t just cancel contracts and ruin careers because of it. If they do they better be ready to pay up a shit ton. Unless what they’ve done is something illegal, which of course would be written into their contracts anyway.

Most of these Asian companies like to go with the broadest possible of terms “no negative publicity” to justify dropping their entertainers. That’s b.s. pretty much everything gets both positive and negative publicity! They may as well say we can drop you whenever we like. We just need to leak something that’ll annoy the public (whether it’s true or not) and you’re done. So you better do as I say. They’re slaves!

And this no dating for so many years crap. The fact that the can write that into contracts should be a violation of their civil rights. They have a damn right to be happy. No one should expect and force them to remain single to just please the public. And real fans want their stars happy so this whole trend over there needs to be shut down.

Yes I’m ranting. I’m getting all of this off my chest.

It has become my dream now to one day start an entertainment agency that signs on Asian entertainers (including directors and what not) to make Asian dramas and music with the freedom and protection they deserve. They should also be making more than their damn agencies for their work. Their shitty contracts make them slaves to those companies. And the lack of support and protection they get when dealing with their personal lives makes them even more caged and miserable. That’s bullshit. They should be treated like zoo animals just for our damn entertainment. We genuinely love these people and want them to be happy!

If one day I’m ever in a position to make this happen I’m gonna come on here and look for investors to help because I know a lot of you feel the same way I do.

Disagree with one thing you said. Agree with pretty much everything else.

A man has every right to ask for an abortion. His ass should have wrapped it up in the first place but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t or shouldn’t have that right.
However! The MOTHER has a right to agree or disagree and should agree then complain about it. That was HER choice to go through with it. It was HER body and she’s the one who lay there for them to do it. She could have said no and either raised the child on her own or file for child support. If he doesn’t want the child fine. But your ass is gonna still pay me to help raise it. OR if you choose to give up your paternal rights then you better give up a lump sum of cash (you can afford it) to help her get on my feet to care for the child because her ass didn’t get pregnant by herself and you don’t get to just choose to not contribute in any way.

With that said. She’s wrong for airing their dirty laundry in that way. That’s not anyone else’s business - definitely not the public. And, again, he didn’t knock her out and drag her to get it done so she should lump all the blame for the decision on him.

The fact Korea to this day still uses person matters like this as a justifiable reason to cancel contracts and destroy someone’s career is ludicrous. That should only occur in situations like that whole illegally made and shared sexual videos of woman that turned into a big fiasco. You know what I mean. THAT situation is completely justifiable to raise an uproar and cancel contracts.

I deeply and sincerely with that European and Western agencies would start signing on these Asian stars to both build up their careers more than they are now and to protect them like they should and deserve to be.

OOOOOHHH! I can’t remember ever being this angry at a ML character. FL is so damn sweet and such a beautiful person inside and out but that ML can kiss my ass after that stunt he pulled at the end of episode 14. Asshole!

And then he had the gall to be jealous of his friend playing along?! After the stunt he pulled and being the reason why she rationalized things in her mind in that way just to cope?! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 right there with ya.

I’m sorry but the ML character disgusts me. I hate him. Everyone else - other than the 2 annoying wenches of course - I quite like. And on episode 12 I finally though the ML was cute and adorable. But once he took that chick to his other home - the nicer home! - he completely crossed the line for me and made it even worse by being angry and jealous about his friend having to pretend to be ML’s boyfriend. I know it’s not gonna happen and that they’ll just gloss over this like they did all his horrible behavior towards the FL in the first 10 episodes but, for the first time, I’d be quite satisfied with an ending where she forgives him but chooses to move on and leave his sickening ass behind. THAT would be a perfect ending for me. What a complete and utter asshole!

That asshole! He moved another woman into his home?! And it’s the nicer one too?! Oh hell no. There’s NOTHING that would make that reasonable in ANY situation! And he knows it too or he wouldn’t have done it BEHIND HIS GIRLFRIEND’S BACK! He could have taken her to stay at a goddamn hotel!

I’m sorry but I honestly don’t care what happens next. They’re gonna try to just gloss over this and try to make everything seem okay again I’m sure but I’m sorry but his pathetic ass disgusts me. She is WAY too good for him and deserves 100x better than his piece of trash ass.

UPDATE: Okay I have to admit now that episode 10 brought me around to thinking better of the ML and of her later on forgiving him. I’m only on episode 11 now though so I know there’s a lot more that can happen. However, the change in him was significant enough that I have hope he’ll continue to grow as a person and a boyfriend.

Now I’m beginning to understand these other comments
about him. Because before this I seriously hated him. He was a complete ass in the way he treated her.

WOW! And now he tells such a major and personal secret to that dumb chick? That’s so disrespectful! It’s not his secret to share no matter what his damn excuse is! UGH! I’m going to keep watching. I was tempted to stop at this point but I’m going to take a break from it for a while then keep watching to see if/when he gets done damn sense.

He may as well dated the Director heifer, since he treats her way differently than he does anyone else and allows her to completely bulldoze him. Actually can’t fault her for behaving the way she did the more that I think about it (except for the dirty underhanded tricks of course) since he’s clearly the reason why she feels as entitled as she does and believes she’s extra special to him. He’s a complete idiot.

And I agree with you. He treated her like trash. I’m on episode 9. He acts like female lead is not a person with feelings. He pushes and pulls based on his flawed judgment. He repeatedly fails to give her a chance to explain her side of any story but just jumps to conclusions and treats her harshly as a result. He’s an ass. She deserves way better. And he listened to that Director chick blindly and let her boss him around too. So far I can’t really like his character. Maybe that’ll change. We’ll see.
Oh and yes I agree it’s unrealistic. Maybe him being an obsessed ass is but her just allowing him to behave the way he does towards her isn’t.

The stupid music in the last 3 episodes is pissing me off. It’s taking the umph out of these otherwise very sweet and moving scenes. I get why they’re covering up the original music but do a better job!

Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, what an adorable drama! I really enjoyed it from beginning to end - every single episode.

Okay I’m having a serious issue with this girls-struggle-with-sciences crap. WTF?! I get there are cultural differences but WTH century are we in?! It immediately rubbed me wrong the first time her annoying, witch-faced looking mother said it (I swear she could easily play any wicked witch character - other than the beautiful ones - in any Disney movie…or wicked stepmother) but they KEEP saying it. Even her father who is a damn teacher said it! Seriously?!

This is my first WTF moment in this drama. Otherwise everything’s pretty much been smooth sailing so far.
