Watching Chinese act up in dramas is one thing. Seeing it play out in real life is an entirely different ball game.

Chinese Netziens disgust me. THEY are the true criminals. They completely take pleasure AND GET AWAY WITH ruining people’s lives. They are the weapon used when someone wants to bring someone else down. With the way things are over there suing them is pointless because they clearly won’t even be allowed to win the case.

I wish all entertainers there would go on strike for several months. Ungrateful assholes have too much power. What a twisted damn society.

Dude clearly needs to emigrate. I’m a black person living in America (although I’m originally from the Caribbean), so I completely understand a culture or group of people feeling strongly about another culture or feeling offended in various ways BUT! Overkill much? Like seriously. Bear in mind I’m also one of those people who couldn’t give a shit about some damn offensive sign that no one even notices on a building because quite frankly I have more important shit to worry about so I don’t get why people let things like that affect them so much. In my mind they’ve got too much time on their hands. But okay, for those who care about that stuff I sincerely respect your opinion. But seriously?! Y’all are taking things too damn far. He wasn’t even promoting those things in those pictures. They just happened to be in the background. After the first one someone around him should have told him to take it down right away (what the hell was his damn agency doing?!) but we all know how netziens can dig up whatever they want and make it into something it was never intended to be. I’m gonna just say it - they’re a bunch of judgmental assholes who like to force their opinions down people’s throats and seem to take pleasure in ruining lives. Hate me all you want for saying it because I completely don’t give a shit. He’s a goddamn human being. It wasn’t intentional. He apologized. Y’all have punished him. Point made. He didn’t rape, kill or physically harm anyone - shoot, not even verbally! - and he didn’t break any laws (even though China has billions of them it seems - to each his own). This was beautiful. It was ROMANCE. It captured both the simplicity and complexity of Romance and of love in its many different forms. I can’t believe how much I ended up falling in love with it. For almost half I thought it would be a low-rating drama for me. Boy was I wrong. I’m definitely watching this again.

I really, really love that song from the ending credits. Totally adding it to my playlist. This entire OST is great.

That’s a relief. That she doesn’t date him, that she ends up with Yu Da (he grew on me too) and that her childhood friend doesn’t turn ridiculous. Lol!

Ep 28/29: I wanted to smack Xi He the minute he showed up in Ding Lan’s room during the board lockdown. He immediately risked her getting disqualified because he couldn’t restrain himself. She should have immediately kicked him out and made it clear to the guards that he snuck in unknowingly and that she was acting right away. I know he thinks he was being thoughtful and taking care of her and he didn’t have bad intentions but as a fellow GO player (and highly-ranked one at that) he should have known better. He should have understood the situation he was putting her in. I’m extremely upset with him right now.

I’m on ep 20 now and I have to say I hate the childhood friend for her now. He was manipulative and only focused on getting to be with her, completely not caring at all about what made her happy. He’s too sneaky and shitty. Yu Da was annoying as hell to me too at first but I’m starting to see him as a little cute and sweet too. He actually cares about her and what makes her happy. He doesn’t manipulative her. He’s honest and open. He’ll probably get on my nerves again soon but even so I want her to get with him just because the childhood friend kept looking down on him and acted like she had to end up with him because he’s wanted her for so long. Like he was entitled. And trying to use her father and her job to manipulate her into being with him completely disgusted me.

Can you spoil it for me though? Does she ever date the childhood friend at all (I hope not)? Does she end up with Yu Da?

I can’t stand Xu Chi. He’s so manipulative and completely disregards he feelings. He only cares about what he wants (her). He’d easily by the male antagonist in any other drama. Another idiot who thinks length of time knowing and liking someone means they somehow deserve to have them. He sneakily made them a couple all along (as ML was able to show quite early on) without her even realizing it and, I’m only on episode 19, but he’s still doing it now with that misleading poster for her new show he’s got posted up everywhere. I can’t believe she’s not putting her foot down with him.

Youda’s annoying as hell sometimes but he can also be funny and sweet and he actually gets to know her and cares about what makes her happy. Xu Chi only thinks about what he wants with absolutely no consideration for what makes her happy. I can’t stand him.

Please tell me she never ‘gives it a try’ with Xu Chi. Please say she doesn’t.

And please tell me she ends up with Youda.

Okay someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me the sister never actually starts dating the childhood friend. I’m finally fully on board with her dating Youda ESPECIALLY in front of that manipulative jerk.
