Ep 31 (of 36, had to switch to dramacool since Viki suddenly restricted this in our region mid watch 🤬):

OHO! New nuclear asshole has taken the #1 spot for being the douchebag of all douchebags! Dong Dong’s dad take a bow! I can’t even find the words…

Ep 25: I hate him! Omg I hate him so much. She makes it clear they have no future but because he’s decided he’s going to spend the rest of his life with her he just announces it to her parents like her feelings or opinions don’t matter whatsoever! I loathe this guy!

Ep 24: OMG I LOVE KE KE! When reporter jerk confessed and then asked her what he could do to make her happy, I hoped like hell she’d say it AND SHE DID! We make ourselves happy. No one can do that for us.

If that fool doesn’t get her strength yet then he’s a damn idiot (which he is). She doesn’t need rescuing and saving like he’s forever pushing his way in to do. She stands strong on her own. That’s something he should learn to respect. Fool.

Ep 24: Ironically, everything reporter jerk said to psycho ex-fiancé chick when telling her about his feelings for Ke Ke, is exactly what she’d done to Shao Lei - everything possible to keep them by their sides and not let anyone else take them away. The irony is that in both cases the person they wanted to keep by their sides was never theirs in the first place. And further irony that reporter jerk didn’t even see that he was exactly the same as psycho chick, only less vicious about it.

I feel bad for the ML. Everyone around him - including FL - just continues to think about their own feelings and never consider his. They all just do what they want around him. I feel so sorry for him. He just wants to be happy and be surrounded by warmth. He finally found that in FL and her family but they just keep pushing him away. He just seems so lonely. Like he’s fighting the world all by himself.

Oh and don’t get me started on ML’s sister. She’s pathetic. Yi Fan’s way too good for her but he loves her so - eh.

Here I go again ranting about reporter dude. Just about to begin watching ep 24 and still, no matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to like him at all. That whole jumping in to act not only like he’s her boyfriend but that they’re planning to get married is yet AGAIN so presumptuous of him. He’s always trying to force his way in to play her protector when she has never put him in a position to feel that he has that right, nor does she allow herself to need to be rescued. Quite frankly it’s all about him forcing his way into her life because he wants to be with her and that’s just messed up. That’s not showing respect to her at all. He just ignores her feelings and decides he’ll be what he believes she needs and force her to accept him.

He’s one of my least favorite characters ever.

Episode 18! Zhang Ke Ke is my new superhero!!! I’ve never ever cheered during a drama but girl had me hooting and hollering!

YESSS! You tell him Shao Lei! (Ep 18)

OMG OMG OMG OMG I can’t stand him! Who the hell is he take away and turn off her phone?! It hasn’t rang all day so clearly it’s not someone bothering her. Ugh! I can’t stand this guy!

He irks me so bad I wish he were a real person so I could hunt him down and smack the crap outta him.

I sincerely dislike that reporter guy. Sincerely. I deeply resent him. Believe it or not he’s the only one in this entire series that’s making it difficult to watch. Not the mother. Not the psycho fiancé or the baby daddy dancer dude. No. It’s the reporter. How did he suddenly appoint himself as FL and her family’s protector? Just because he likes her and his feelings are sincere? So what? Then anyone could say they have rights to a person. I’m going to have to skip all the parts with him in it. I just started episode 17.

I absolutely do not have SLS. I’m on ep 15. Who the hell is that reporter dude to act like he’s an important part of the family after meeting the parents THE DAY BEFORE! And how many times has he even met and spoken with either the FL or her brother? I HATE presumptuous men.

And WOW! ML’s father is a spineless asshole. What a chickenshit! And all he’s doing is teaching his son to be a spineless piece of trash like him.

I’m on episode 9 by the way. Just here to vent.

I really dislike her so-called ‘best friend’. She steals her idea, makes a million excuses during her ‘apology’ (made only after getting caught and under the threat of being sued) and, when faced with the repercussions, guilt-trips her into helping get herself out of trouble. What trash. And for someone who so deeply despises lying (despite constantly doing so to others herself) FL somewhat easily just brushes of the ‘best friend’s’ flat out plagiarism (a mega-lie) of her work, even though she was so mad at her brother for lying about his damn job?

Writers come on!
