This guy SYC was all ready to marry her but couldn’t stand it after she missed a date, fell asleep on him a couple of times and missed his calls. She just started and he already can’t deal with it? He said he wants a simple life of mutual support but that’s BS. He was never willing to support her in the first place and felt threatened that he was not the focal point in her life.

He clearly doesn’t know what married life would be like.

Good riddance! He’s not confident enough for JX. I was wondering how they were going to resolve this and am glad that they did not have the Bf cheating with the good friend. Even if the BF’s reasons are jerk-like, at least it’s not as disgusting.

I don’t think the romance with HT will start any time soon though. Knowing how such stories g, it will be a slow burn one as JX builds her company up!

Thanks! I never bought SRQ’s act and think that his present self is just plain annoying. It’s just that the way he wants to protect the FL now seemed contradictory to him being the killer in the past. like you said, he is freaking delusional. OK, I’ll pay attention to his actions.

Yeah I remember but the way SRQ was talking in the present like he had no guilt. Plus he kept saying he wanted to protect LR. Just felt contradictory for a guy who actually killed her.

That's crazy! Why is he now in the present acting like he's all about protecting her.... know I am on the side of "learn from the past and move on" but he seemed pretty twisted if that is the case...

Do we know for sure if SRQ was truly the one who poisoned LR in the past or it was PWX's and LR's assumption since it was not PWX?

Ep 22 - Lighter today and a little smoother for our leads. I like how PWX’s bolder, flaunting in front of SRQ. LR also took initiative.
I guess we all already know the reveal about SRQ so not much of an impact there. Based on what he said today, I have a question in spoiler comment below.

I think you need to follow the thread of this conversation. No one has said that he should be sympathetic.
My comment was that this ML was unsympathetic like the other MLs in the other two shows. That’s it.

That’s a good point! Being an independent artist, and having proved her talent, Song Yun should try some more daring roles. I actually like that she often chooses roles that are strong FLs but I agree that she should now experiment with other type of roles

You’re right, there is a difference between being street smart and being educated. I do think she is smart overall and it was more the failure of the writer in creating that mistake as a plot device to push her to desperation. Also. it was really her junior inexperienced partner that kept on the pressure. luckily she did not repeat the same mistake twice. Otherwise it’s hard to respect this character

HT was not supporting her. he guided her to pressure into accepting his offer.
Regardless, I agree that it is not easy to come up with a unique plot nowadays so even if the story is cliched, it is still enjoyable if the actors do a good job. In this case, we all can agree that Seven will do an excellent job.

Wouldn’t you consider her smart, strong-willed and a go getter in this series? Sililar to her pilot role in Flight to You. In Master of My Own, she was not as strong willed but still smart and got things done. all three series including this latest one have the same general story of a FL striving and succeeding in the end

I don’t mean the personalities. just the general tropish plot of the FL who had to go through low points in her career and starting again before building herself up again. Meek or strong she played or is playing a FL with those experiences.
Jerk or not, the ML is still unsympathetic and unsupportive in the beginning.

in Flight to you and Master of My Own, she also played FLs who faced difficulties professionally and went through really low points before rising up again. the MLs were the same, harsh and unsympathetic at first but eventually supported her.
I think Seven is a great actress and yes have watched many of her shows. I didn’t say she was typecast just that she likes this kind of roles. It is not a criticism, just an observation.
