It's not BL, the main leads just happen to be a same sex couple. It's not focussed on their relationship except…
I guess if you have a very loose definition of BL? Like everything that features two men who love each other? I wouldn't call that a BL necessarily, not all gay media is BL. But YMMV
I think they will do great as alpha and omega. As enigma I can't imagine anyone other than Eliot. They have the…
Boat and Oat were the only good thing about My Stubborn. Especially Oat really carried the series, with Boat supplying the charisma and the sexiness. But the rest of the acting was mostly laughable. I hope MFlow learned something and won't weigh them down with a big crappy supporting cast in their next one, but I wouldn't bet on it.
I'm slightly judging it already somely because of the reactions it got from social media which had me wondering…
The problem here is the production company, which doesn't have a good track record when it comes to plot, acting or cinematography. Boat and Oat were the only good part of their previous series, the rest of it was laughable, but their scenes were indeed on fire. But even the fans of My Stubborn will admit that it was more p*rn than plot. Now, if you compare the currently airing Thai BL Khemjira, or some past series like "I Told Sunset About You" or "I Feel You Linger in the Air", or even "Top Form", those are on an entirely different level. There is so much BL coming out of Thailand and some of it is pure rubbish, while most of it is mediocre, but there are some gems too. But the media culture is different, so Thai BLs will never be like Japanese or Chinese BLs. And that's fine, because not everyone likes the same things.
Wow, that episode made me ugly cry 😭and I don't cry often when I watch dramas. This was an amazing episode, the best, most impactful one so far, with top tier acting from everyone.
I haven't watched episode 2 yet since I'm waiting for the fansubs.
