Of course they can be, especially if the best friend who was like glued to your side for years suddenly gets a gf/bf? Happens all the time. True, it's a kind of jealousy, but not the romantic kind. Jealousy isn't the Ultimate Proof Of True Love that everyone holds it out to be. Jealousy can come from fear of rejection, fear of losing a friendship, insecurity, a sense of entitlement, toxic controlling behaviour, etc etc.
There are also people who love deeply but never feel jealousy.

I agree about YYY. It's not deep, but it's a whole lot of insanity and shenanigans and I find it hilarious. I guess if you don't like the absurd and sometimes surrealistic humour, it's not for you and you won't enjoy it.

Yeah, Lukmo has no reason to be loyal to his father. I guess it depends on whether he feels he has the right to tell Simai or not. Still, Simai is not a little kid, he's almost an adult and I don't understand why they want to keep it from him. Also, doesn't he have a real father of his own that he might want to know about?

It's an a$$hole move. Trying to offer an olive branch by saying he's okay with their love, since they're not in fact related by blood, but then making it practically impossible by saying he can't tell Simai. It's like saying, "Sure you can borrow my car, but you can't have the keys."
