You still have to download the app if you want to pay for VIP. I only watch on my computer, too, but you have to pay via the app. You can't pay via the website. :/
I'm in Europe and it costs about €7.50 per month for me.

That said, Lovely Writer doesn't seem to require a VIP account! It's free to watch, but only accessible in Thailand, Philippines, China or Taiwan -- use a VPN to make WeTV believe you are in one of those countries if you live anywhere else.

I have the "Free VPN" Chrome browser extension and that worked as well. It also has a Thailand server. Fair warning, though; sometimes it works without a hitch, and sometimes it doesn't... Today it was the former, luckily.

Only reason I'm watching is that there aren't many BL dramas airing right this moment. This is the kind of quality you might expect from one of the smaller countries who only just jumped on the BL train -- not Thailand. Amateurish low-budget productions like this aren't going to cut it much longer.

EST is easy to calculate from Thai time, since it's twelve hours behind -- you just need to change am to pm (or pm to am)!

Everyone else generally has an inkling of how their time zone relates to UTC, which is why I used that as a reference. CET, for instance, is UTC+1 (or UTC+2 with DST).

I was just about to post this -- adding that 1:30 amThai time is 18.30 (6:30 pm) UTC, so that's when it will be available with subs.

I know, I've commented on this before! It's very confusing. Maybe it's something they want to keep as a surprise twist in the series, in which case the description here is a huge spoiler, which is very unfortunate (but not unusual here on MDL, sadly).

Yeah, I think most Chinese productions dub all the dialogue, and it's pretty rare that they let the actors do their own dubs, isn't it?

I actually read that as a capitalised company name, so I didn't take offense, but thank you for standing up against perceived rudeness!

Oh, gods, I certainly hope not.

This seems to be very common in Pinoy and Thai BL, the ladyboys are almost always comic relief (though not really funny) and it makes me so uncomfortable.
