I finally mustered up my courage and watched eps 11 and 12. It wasn't nearly as painful as I had been led to believe!…
Yes, episode 11 was sad -- it was, after all, the obligatory Cursed Penultimate Episode -- but I thought it was handled with the usual softness and sensitivity I've come to expect from this show. Nothing was out of character, there was no unnecessary drama. In fact, I felt as if this was a thing Adachi *had* to go through in order to be able to believe in his own feelings and agency, and to stop second-guessing himself and the relationship forever. As for episode 12, I liked the ending. I can see that some people felt cheated, but I don't, despite my normal inclinations -- CM has never been the type of drama that relies on titillating skinship moments to convey the feelings. It has always been about other things as much as about the love story -- breaking one's isolation, daring to come out of one's shell, learning to stand up for oneself and others despite not being equipped for heroics. It's a journey of self-realisation for Adachi, and Kurosawa's love may be the trigger and the motivation (and one of the end goals) of that journey, but it's not the only thing that makes this show worth watching. And the ending left me feeling happy and, yes, content.

I'm putting my thoughts in spoiler tags under this comment, even though it will only be spoilery about the general tone of the episodes and not about anything specific happening in them. So if you've been scared by some of the reactions in this comment section and are wondering whether you should finish watching this series, and don't mind being very vaguely spoiled, I think you'll be fine reading it. To sum up: Don't be afraid to watch them.
If ITSAY doesn't wipe the floor with all other dramas in all categories in next year's awards circuit, I will…
Yeah, there have been some really good ones, but even the best of the rest don't really come close to this one. I hope it gets so many awards that it can't fail to attract interntional attention too.
I personal don’t like sexual things, and cutesy thing (even kissing unless it’s a peck) and this sexual tension…
This is not a drama where you can skip scenes. Every scene is significant and meaningful, and you will miss a large part of what makes this so fantastic if you do. I agree with what others have said, if you don't feel comfortable with this kind of story, then just don't watch it.
I just want to say that you said everything I would have said in a review of this series, and more. I feel the same about the technical aspects of the production but lack your knowledge and ability to accurately describe them. The production values for this series, the ambition, the skills and talents and dedication of everyone involved are just amazing, and the result is breathtaking. There is no comparison with other BL, and hardly with any other drama series. And when you rewatch it, you notice that every little thing is significant. There is nothing unnecessary, no filler, everything is there for a reason; it is pure gold. (I remember saying while I was watching it that it was like being hit with a gold brick. On the one hand, ouch. On the other hand, GOLD.) Thank you for the review.
i really just want tharn to beat up fiat. he is beyond annoying!
I agree (except for the the violence bit). I mean, Fiat is not even cute. Yeah, he's a pretty boy, but the way he acts is just manipulative and egotistical. He tries to get Type to notice him, and when he doesn't get the response he wants, he resorts to guilt-tripping him. That is SUCH a turn-off. His relationship with Leo is confusing me too. It's obvious that Leo is into him, so why doesn't he say so? The only reason I can think of is that he doesn't trust Fiat with his heart, knowing what he's like. And if Fiat is into Leo, why does he keep hurting him? I don't get it.
there are links at discussion board, dear MDL friend add links when new episode released https://mydramalist.com/discussions/tharntype-2/56757-tharntype-the-series-season-2-official-international-linetv-linksYou…
Then the problem is on your end, because the subs are there. Usually they are enabled as default but this time I had to do it manually. They still work though.
No, there is an official 2moons3 series being released soon.
2Moons2 is worth watching for Ming/Kit (even if the actors are different) and Forth/Beam., both of them good pairings. The main couple (Pha/Yo) didn't capture my interest at all. And there's a plot line about harassment that I found hard to watch.

(I can finally watch episode 11, yay)
