I think the izakaya scene on episode 1 is a surprise statement for the audience that the drama is going to be a musical.

My early guess of the mastermind or those who involved with gift are the Cop, Anri and Homare. Homare is quite sus, i think something scandalous going on within the hospital and she tried to take a revenge.

It seems that in this drama, he wants to return to his early-mid 00's days. I'll give it a go till midway.

They had more than one year and that camera quality jeez.

The yokai duo got nerved in this adaptation due to the arc they are covering.

I think the fake teacher arc is too long, 4-5 episode is fine. could've use that spare 1-2 episode for Tsubakiya and/or Nakaseko. Tsubakiya is bang average at Baseball, but he is a great "locker room guy" also Nakaseko is a A-/B+ prospect but he decided to join Etsuzan, both are interesting topics IMO.

Should give a lil bit more budget and extend it into 7-8 episodes. I think it's due to Mackenyu's sudden omission.

It's very obvious, Machia Keita is slightly unrecognizable.
