Satisfactory ending but they never explained why that photo was in Mima Taro's house in the first place.
Either his dad simply loves photography, she could be his mistress and the cause of that divorce, or Eiko put that photo in his house with prior knowledge that taro is a mystery writer.
one week after the finale, gonna discuss a few thing:
So the seed that they have planted in the finale is:
-Some of Tent's monitor disagree with the disband, the information of "Tent final target is Japan" probably spread by that faction (those who simply want to make chaos, i guess?). My guess the 2 sacrificial lamb and Yamamoto being few of them. While there is also those who loyal to Beki, Like Ali and Shinjo.
-Shiro hates/disagree with Beppan. Probably this will be the 2nd arc in the sequel while the first one is Beppan w/Nozaki and Drum vs Tent's remnant?
-Jamin didn't like or at least scared of Nozaki, he is the one who "pull the string" for future events? or is he a man with a personal agenda?
-Yusuke help Beki, Nokor, and Piyo faked their death? is Yusuke told them to kill those who got involved quietly or they need to make a masterplan before executed him? or beppan thinks that they are an asset/collaborator, in return Nogi will avenge his mother? time will tell.
-The final episode sponsor card feature the useless quartet, Midoriko, Tojo, and Nagano. But not Drum, Jamin, and Nokor. Fukuzawa teases us that they may be improtant in the Future?
Hoshizaki basically was born and felt different probably some kind of personality disorder like anti personality…
Didn't expect that he has mental disorder, i thought that he is outright psycho. Did not expect them to pull things like this in the final eps, I'm crying RN. Ren appearing out of nowhere is also unexpected when everybody thinks that he has something to do with the incident.
So we'll definitely have a sequel, but i don't really buy Hashizume Isao as a big bad. Should've casted Nishida…
It's a solid rumor (minus the cast, that is too much).
I assume that it will act as the replacement for Hanzawa 3, since book 5 is about young Hanzawa. I mean no way they casted Sakai for this, unless they are using episode 8 concealer. Also book 6 haven't been out yet.
I completely agree! We did see it through to the end, but it was one of the least favourite asadoras ever. The…
Agreed. Good even out of the box concept for an Asadora but they pick a wrong director and writer. If someone like Kimura Hisashi or Kudokan handle this, it could turn into masterpiece.
Looking at the writer's CV, he is in his comfort zone lol.
Thank you for the info. This drama begins on NGN TV next week and I was trying to find an excuse to bail on it.…
I don't think it is going to be a Movie if there is a sequel, and current saga will be concluded in the final eps. My bet that this will have a similar ending as Hanzawa 2, we have a conclusion but the ending will set up a sequel. 14-15% in TVer/Streaming era is huge.
I guess the sequel format will probably be in a similar format as Taiga drama, if it is 100% produced locally.
edit: Final eps just 0.4% short to reach 20%, this is massive.
-The monitor is Shinjo while Suzuki is a beppan. If one of Kaoru or Drum is the monitor, one of them will inform Tent/Beki that Jamin had a successful surgery. -Nokor is the one who leak to the gov and he is framing Nogi. well it is kinda obvious -Everyone in the tent base are going to die except one of Nogi/Kurosu. -We'll get an ending that is similar to Crisis (starring Oguri/Nishijima). -If the sequel is already WIP and this will have a cliffhanger ending, expect one of the four rumored cast to make a cameo. -Beki wanted a revenge 100%, but his target is simply Kouan/whoever did that but not Japan as a whole.
If everyone have the same opportunity, A-chin's Jichan probably is trying to survive also.

Other than the previous rumor, Another rumor also stated that Sanada Hiroyuki is one of the candidate for next installment. Madness.
And as it stands, Nagano is nothing more than a P*do/Lolic*n and former addict??? I feel bad for Kohi-san 😅

Nozaki and current Kouan is simply want to take the credit. His boss is a bit sus tho.
Well, we'll see in a few hours.
