Like I can understand Kindaichi getting fired, losing his apartment room, dropping his phone in the river, and…
Why Moai becomes poor? if i'm not mistaken, his wife in possession of his family money and he only have something like JPY 100.000 and cashing all of his money+Kindaichi's to make Miracle Thermos. Nikaido is the only one that's unexplained why she ends up in the slum, i assume that she's a prodigal and doesn't have enough money.
I'm gonna say... she ended up with making good food. ? At that age I'm guessing, 'ending up with somebody' as…
Up in the air, since Rinko haven't met Obana after Michelin Awarding Ceremony, Kyouno being professional at work, and After episode 9 they drop the "love triangle" angle. IMO, Obana seems want to rekindle his relationship with Linda.
Nihon series have the true ending IMO, Busan's time of death match ucchie's narration (1 year after his "revival") at the end of the original series. While in this movie Busan still live for another year after his diagnosis at the end of the second film. Although it's never confirmed by the show's creator (cmiiw) and Nihon Series' 30 years later segment may be a misdirection/non-canon, i think that this movie is just an alternate ending.
Solid B for me, not the best but it's enjoyable. This drama is a good introduction for Japanese political scene, especially if you want to watch a much more complex Japanese political drama.
Love this show.. it's very special for me this show made me Japanese drama fan... Wish Gokusen gets a Remake soon…
Yup, it's rumored once in the early 2010's. 2022 (20th anniv of the show) would be a great time to remake the series, and this time they're following the manga storyline. But beware that it couldn't have the same charm as the OG.
I think it would have been better to cast the drama in half-hour episodes rather than two two-hour parts. It would…
it's better this way. If it's made into an episodic format, the show will be boring. the show have a repetitive formula (a naive student get into a trouble/betrayed-Kazama act like a guardian angel-the perpetrator got kicked out).
Ishigaki Yuma is a bit inconsistent in this drama, at some part he's really good but on the other part he isn't really convincing at all. Arashi's Nino or Hiroki Narimiya would be the perfect Yu for me.
SARS have the subbed version, try to ask her trough twitter, but the link was taken down like 1-2 years ago. I found a Raw version of this, since Japanese is my 2nd language i have no problem with it.
Yes I did not undestood the fake ending too... I think it would have been more meaningful if Shima actually protected…
I really like the ending, although it's a bit cliche. But the twist about "Kuzumi" identity kinda justify the ending, and it opens up many possibilities. Is he a part of huge terrorist organization/a cult or simply a drug dealer with a dark past? and What Yakuza organization he affiliated with?
The scene where Ibuki want to send Gamagori a package, i think it's a sign that their story isn't over yet. either it should be featured on the 3 omitted episode or they want to continue it in the sequel.
Aizawa: Return to France as promised prior joining GMT as a (full-time) chef.
Shohei: open his own restaurant during the time skip, with Miyu and Moe join him.
Only Rinko,Kyouno, and Kanna (and probably Serita) that stay in GMT.
