Done with SKOP. Loved it.. there are a few things I didn't like, but I will have to admit that it is a great drama.

One of the things is I felt was a bit let down was ZLH as XW. I wish WXY was the ML instead of ZLH. And no, I am not talking about their respective characters ZZ and XW. I felt like, especially after watching The Double, WXY would be better suited to play XW.
Although ZLH was great, I felt something was missing in his portrayal of XW. His dubbed voice was very rough, or is it his own dubbing? I don't know, I felt it wasn't very suitable for him. This is one of the major drawbacks for me.
Anyway, this really made me think, WXY would have slayed playing XW, and I honestly think ZLH would be better suited to play ZZ. Just my opinion.

Otherwise, the drama was a banger, and I totally enjoyed it. 10/10 for me, and I rated it the same.

50+ and 80+???? What, were FL and ML in those dramas basically glued together by their lips for the entirety of the runtime?

WOL had lots of kiss scenes, but not as many as in ABAY.
WOL had 19 kiss scenes (or is it 17?). Someone counted, and ABAY had more than 20 kiss scenes.

Yes, I heard from her fans that she has her own company. I admire her for that. I wish Xu Kai to follow the same once his contract expires.

He needs to leave that company, I agree.

Xu Kai doesn't have a good promotional team nor do his team help him remove his negative rumours, traffic stars do not get this treatment. Xu Kai is also a very private person and does not create scandals for himself nor does he create hashtags for himself every few days. He has some following, but he always maintained his stance to be an actor, not an idol.

I don't think anything he does fits traffic star criteria. Except that he looks young and handsome, and has his own fanbase..

Xu Kai, like Seven, is not a traffic star. He usually keeps to himself. But there's always some kind of negative market narrative around him because his team does not pay up these marketing accounts to not post any negative unfounded rumours about him. Since his team does not pay up, these marketing accounts post all sorts of ridiculous rumours on him.
They even resorted to claim that Xu Kai was tested positive for HIV recently when BCE was about to air. Xu Kai had to personally visit a police station to file a complaint against these rumours. His company is the worst.

This was when the drama was announced. There were some, not all, Seven fans who didn't like Seven taking up this project, because they thought this was just an idol drama. There were also some who had issues with Xu Kai getting equal billing. They all claimed they won't be Seven fans anymore.
Personally, I wouldn't even call them Seven fans if they cannot trust their fav to pick a project for herself.

Agreed. There are toxic fans in all fandoms, and we should not associate ourselves with them.

If people didn't feel the chemistry, that's fine. That is only an opinion. I don't like comments like "I don't like the chemistry, maybe he/she should have been paired of that actress/actor". It is plain disrespectful to the co-star of your favourite, I agree. If there are such fans, I really do not want to associate myself with them at all.

They definitely are not Xu Kai fans, sorry. Fans of a cp? Maybe. But let's be frank, fans of a cp literally do not care for the male lead of the cp. They can enjoy the female lead of the cp with other co-stars but do not tolerate the male lead with other co-stars, which tells me who's fans they really are.

I have not seen Xu Kai only fans having issues with TSY, maybe a very small minority before the drama aired had issues, and that too because of TSY fans having issues with TSY taking up this drama. All of these were done and dusted once the drama aired, and those minority who had issues with TSY also loved her in the drama. This is what I saw on twitter. I don't browse ig for c-dramas, so no idea how it is there.

They definitely aren't Xu Kai fans. And judging by their actions, they are more like haters, not CP fans.

Haven't seen such comments since the drama started airing at all. At least not where I was looking, and I usually look at Xu Kai fans comments on SM. There are no such comments here on MDL too.

Not a fan of SAHPH because of the ending, but I did like BCE.

You can try other Xu Kai dramas, like Falling Into Your Smile, Ancient Love Poetry, Wonderland of Love, Arsenal Military Academy.

Just a little tip for you: Now that you love this cp so much, you will feel other cps of Xu Kai are not that good. So, don't go into the dramas to compare the cps. Just watch for the sake of the drama, and you will see.

I personally feel he's got great chemistry with Bai Lu (Arsenal Military Academy, The Legends), Jing Tian (Wonderland of Love), and now Seven Tan. I have more favorable points for Seven Tan-Xu Kai cp compared to other two now.

ETT and TBAVW are very hard to adapt. They need top quality scriptwriters to adapt them. The Times Spent in Pretense should be very easy to adapt, but they messed it up big time. Did not like Royal Rumors at all.

Ascending, Do Not Disturb should also be an easy adaptation. I'm hoping someone decent can do it.

Yup, it's a fun watch with sizzling chemistry between the leads. Great acting by XK too.
