OMG I loved this so much!!! It kinda reminded me of Go Ahead, the same vibe. Yang Zi was exceptional in this I thought. Her timing and delivery was spot on. Even her jokes and comedic reactions, which I expected to be cringe was so funny instead. I was so surprised that I was LOLing at some of her scenes and responses. I'm so impressed by her!

ep 14 - now WTAF was that at the hopt?! Could the writers have given the audience some credit?! What show would allow a storyline where just anybody could provide consent for surgery?! uugghhh so fucken annoying when they do shit like this! On hold now til it finishes so I can binge and ffwd these ridiculous storylines. And of course the mother didn't disappoint with her ridiculousness, greediness it's become a bit unbearable now. And the way she talks to the dad is humiliating.

I think so too. But it goes to show that he's just not as mature as Huan. He needs to grow a pair more before he can be in a relationship. He has never understood any of her grievances and I'm glad Hian got to say that to him - that he always just says sorry thinking that'll solve it but never actually stands up against anything or for anything. ohh prenups are a must if you want to protect your assets... let's be realistic, divorce rates are ever increasing and if you have any assets, you'd be a fool not to have one. Love has nothing to do with it. If you mind it 'cos you have nothing and the other party wants it, then you have a prob. In Australia, it's legally binding however there are conditions least of all which is that both parties had received independent legal advice about the agreement.

I don't think it's a case of ther mother never caring about huan's feelings... she just didn't put herself in her daughter's shoes to truly understand things. You could see it when the son saod to her, let's look at things from huan's point of view, then the mother actually paused and considered things.

Gave it a try, up to ep 19 then put on hold... boring now and over the questionable misunderstandings, multilayered? I doubt it. Story trying too hard to drag it out but it doesn't engage nor give you anything to be curious about to want to keep watching. I paused ut before every new character becamea couple 😊

I concur...and with those tropes where one party is persisting despite getting no, then they fall in love at the end, they just look like they're worn down and can't be bothered saying no anymore.

ohhh don't even compare Shu Yi to Mr Darcy!!! Mr Darcy in every adaptation the character knew how to portray angst and yearning with just a microexpression. Dylan is not at that level... all he did was frown and looked either angry or annoyed. If it wasn't for the monologues, the audience wouldn't know what he's thinking. That means he needs more experience and more practice before he can be compared to any Mr Darcy 😊
