Now the wait for next week's episodes begin :( Am really loving the interactions between the leads, it's developed quite a bit this week. The maturity and intelligence of their discussions is quite refreshing coupled with a bit of innocence and curiosity thrown in and my heart flutters every time they go on their walks or they're alone. Therein you see how their feelings are developing and the devotion by Huai Nan is already evident. The 2019 version didn't really have that so I'm appreciating that with this new adaptation. This week I'm hoping is the last we see of the Ge Bi/Bai Li interaction, it's gotten awkward and I really am not interested in the Ge Bi character. Now they're starting to throw Ming Rui and the psycho stalker together?!
Finished watching ep10 and I'm finding some of the characters unlikeable... eg Baili's moronic love of Ge Bi yes, he's a despicable excuse for a human but she's just going psycho now with loving him a when he tells her he doesn't love her. I basically want to fast fwd all their scenes... SML is a bit ridiculous with no loyalty to the ML by way of his friendship, he sells out the ML every chance he gets.. the other stalker graduate from their high sch is all but creepy... and the ex and the silver haired girl are a bit more sinister... the theme of unrequited love seem to be all non-existent... I feel the 2019 version did a much better job in its interpretation of each relationship, it feels a lot more mature than this one
Am loving the conversations between the leads so far, it's more in-depth than the other one and it really shows their compatibility and helps with the developmentof their relationship whichis heartwarming. Am not liking how Luo Zhi is divulging everything to Bai Lin, she's less reserved than the other one... still liking it tho, looking fwd to more eps
The most x-rated Korean feature I've watched haha! I replayed the scene in the car (can you suck me hahahaha) and crack up... quite a cute and surprising breath of fresh air
The original is one of my favourites and I rewatch it quite often, it'd be interesting to compare them tho from the trailer, this FL has nothing on the og one.
After watching ep 7 and 8, I think I'll wait till the whole series is finished to watch it all. I really hope this doesn't end up a mess like ROY. The FL I'm starting to find unnatural. To me, her conversations felt like she was just reading it off the script. No emotion with her delivery, is the character supposed to be like that? The second ML I found to be overacting with his playfulness, it didn't ring authentic. There was just no excitement for me with these 2 episodes till the very last scene of ep 8, as it did with the first few episodes.
Does anyone know who is the girl in the lab who always scoffing..does not like ml cause she knows what he did…
She explained it when she met up with Lucy Zhi towards the end.... she liked the ML too. She tried to get his attention but never succeeded so started doing things to make him hate her so that it could be over... it was just her way of dealing with her unrequited love
