At the same time, it is unrealistic when nobody dies when they are always at war.
If someone is going to die, atleast the death should be reasonable.

Some deaths have to make sense. Did Wei Liang die at war? If it was the war that happened when Liangya first tried to take Pianyi and Yanzhou, it would have made sense. The only death that made sense was that of Daqiao.

I enjoyed this drama a lot. From episode 1 to the last. But I must still say something.... Cdrama directors needs to understand that they do not need to kill off a character to sell a story or to get an increased rating. They should take a page from LLTG and Blossom.

I just watched one of the most beautiful and well-written series I've ever seen! Here's how I stumbled upon it: a couple of mornings ago, I finished downloading a drama and had some extra gig left. I was casually browsing through my BL Telegram group when I saw a post about a Chinese BL series with only 7 episodes, each 15-20 minutes long. Initially, I thought it would have a sad ending, given that it's a Chinese BL, but it was a CHINESE BL so I didn't really mind which is why I went ahead to download and watch it anyway. I'm glad I did, because it was beautiful and had a happy ending with real kisses (you'll understand why I mention this if you're familiar with Chinese BLs😭). I'm not sure if it's available on the platforms you use, but if you're interested in watching, let me know and I'll share the link.
