I found him to be super cute in "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" - a shining light in a drama I found otherwise pretty…
The amount of empathy he managed to make me feel for a killer, still disturbs me, quite frankly!

I found him to be super cute in "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" - a shining light in a drama I found otherwise pretty lacklustre.
But my favourite is his support role in "Stranger/Forest of Secrets". Wow!

Damn Didn't think I would cry so much and so early in the ep.That boyfriend is a POS throwing his "truths" at…
I want to just shake them and say "Wake up to YOURSELVES you idiots!" 🀣

Yep, ep 10 was harrowing. In keeping with the pace of some of the earlier ep's, big things happen much faster than you expect, whilst the ML/FL story, continues on at an excruciating pace.

I am personally, absolutely loving this drama. I can comfortably say it's my favourite of 2022 so far (watching C, TW and K-dramas) It has fully fleshed out characters, in realistic situations. And it makes me FEEL things...frustration, sadness, compassion, self-righteousness πŸ˜†. I think the writing is exceptional. And despite the ending of this ep., I definitely think you can see the growth of the characters. I am looking forward to the last 2 ep's to see how it all gets rounded out.

In what ways do you think "Coffee Prince" is like "Oh My Ghost"? Very curious as I can't see the resemblance at all 😬

Episode 11. It's a pretty harrowing episode actually. Even on the eleventieth rewatch

I'm still overall enjoying this show. The show at the beginning reminded me of misaeng but now it has become so…
I totally agree it became so tropey! It lost me completely at Truck-Khan.

I think I'm getting more from this drama than you, but I may very likely be filling in the gaps with my own 'stuff'. I totally respect your point of view!

Sure she manipulates him, but to protect her child. I'm for that! Plus he is well aware of what's happening. It's definitely equal between them IMO

Lol I dont think Korea has such a service? It sounds very much like what they have in Japan. Feels like an adaptation…
'Host/Hostess' bars are a also a big thing in Korea. Though it doesn't look like this drama is going to be played as 'seedily' as they are generally depicted in K-dramaland

I can't express how much I love characters like Baek Eo Jin. He reminds me a bit of Park Dong-Hoon of 'My Ahjussi'…

I can't express how much I love characters like Baek Eo Jin. He reminds me a bit of Park Dong-Hoon of 'My Ahjussi' and Dong Shik of 'Misaeng'. They are characters who just embody a sense of justice for all, and see the good in even the worst people. I feel like those who fundamentally pursue a just and kind life, are a rarity in K-dramaland. (Perhaps Soo-Yeon of Extraordinary Attorney Woo as well)
I'm watching this drama, purely because this character exists.

"Don't hurt my woman!" That entire scene with the Nine Suns coming together to kick some ass and then the following…
So agree! It is gold!

I felt something missing in episode 12. What I mean is that Korea is sitting on a demographic time bomb. It’s…
If you scroll further down the comments, there's a link to SK's reaction to this episode...being TOO feminist and crossing the line. You might be asking too much of the writer, who is already receiving massive backlash for being a "short-haired feminist"😬

This is my first drama where I think the OST is absolutely terrible. I like the songs themselves, but they are, across the whole show, so jarring and mismatched to the plot. I do wonder if I'd have found the show all-around better, if the tone was better set and supported by the score.

Episode 8 is awesome! A complete shift of tone. I implore all of you who dropped after 7; COME BACK! A few minor resolutions and a slight shift in direction, I think makes it a bit more satisfying and less, pure frustration.
