I agree with you but do still have some empathy for the mother. She has given up her life to raise their child,…
Well said!! The older couple are definitely a good representation of an unhealthy relationship. And bravo to everyone commenting for being clear and kind, and not negative and nasty.

I agree she's a mess, but the presentation definitely portrays her in a very negative light. He also made no effort to regain her trust and work on the marriage. But we warm to him because we get to see all the good things in him. She however, is only single-faceted at this point
I feel like ep10 is all about the burdens women face in marriage - of keeping in-laws happy, of raising children, of supporting their husbands no matter what; whilst their husbands get to continue to make choices solely for themselves and their own interests. It is unfortunately still, a very realistic portrayal of reality. Perhaps Shi Woo is to be admired for committing to NOT burdening a woman with marriage
i honestly have not cared much about the forecaster uhm family storyline but that scene with his daughter today…
I agree with you but do still have some empathy for the mother. She has given up her life to raise their child, whilst he got to choose work over his family - she didn't have a choice She feels abandoned by her husband, and now feels at risk of her daughter abandoning her for him. It's reactive but understandable.
Can anyone clarify for me...Is share-housing not a thing in SK? Is it realistic in current time, for a mother to be freaking out that her 30 something daughter is sharing her flat (not her bed) with others? No judgement, just interested.
I feel so sorry for Forecaster Um's wife. I really hope they will get back on track eventually. He seems too clueless…
Rather than the main leads, Forecaster Um and his wife, seem to be the couple portraying the classic K-drama trope, 'misunderstandings'. I'm so invested in them too! I WANT them to have a happy ending. But it's refreshing that the main couple are not like this!
I think I'm getting way too caught up in their age - he's a high schooler! Ahh the agony and confusion π± And who can best portray that effortless arrogance without making me want to punch them?!? This is why I'm not a casting agent! Nam Da Reum...Lee Jae Wook. I've got nothing else π
πππ this is hilarious Shiro! Thanks to your Hometown ChaChaCha gifs, I now want Pizza! (2 gorgeous men to eat it with, would also be grand) I think my favourite, obvs PPL is in "Lovestruck in the City"....a powdered coffee sachet (I think), that they prepare whilst joking about PPL.
