I know it technically doesn't qualify because it's anime, but my favourite, hands-down all-time, best body swap movie/show EVER is "Your Name"(Makoto Shinkai). I've tried to watch Secret Garden a few times but can't get through the 1st ep 🤷♀️. I think it's just too dated for me. And there are too many new shows to watch...especially now I've added all the rest of these to my PTW list. Yeah thanks for that!
Right, except "Please don't date him", he's in idols roles only like in imitation and this one and "class of lies"…
I think he still plays the entitled, arrogant, spoiled brat in "Class of Lies" (the extreme version) - I think that's the role he is often cast in, be it idol drama or otherwise.
I think I would watch Lee Jun Young watch paint dry. But in this, when he gets to show his musical talents too! 🤩🤩🤩 I just wish we could see him in more diverse roles. "Please don't date him" is the only exception IMO
I think there is NEVER enough said about how good Kim Kyung Nam is. Like Tony Leung , he moves you with his eyes.…
Now watching ep4, I realise I've kinda stated the obvious - everything about their gaze is explicit in the dialogue. But I stand by what I've written. I don't think there are many actors who can convey so much with their eyes, the way these two can. Who else could have played these parts?
I think there is NEVER enough said about how good Kim Kyung Nam is. Like Tony Leung , he moves you with his eyes. We don't need to see big gestures or obvious facial expressions, because his gaze is everything. I think too Ahn Eun Jin, has the same ability. This show is so compelling because of the two of them. It's just, a 'must see' (pun intended)
P.S. does anyone know of a Joseon story that has nothing to do with being king/prince and a war for the throne?I…
"Splash Splash Love," is a nice antidote to the whole "Treachery" trope. It's not an actual Saeguk, but is a Joseon story, with some breezy history lessons. And it's a mild intro to the "time travel" trope, SO popular in K-Dramaland.
I may be jumping to an extreme conclusion based upon 1 teaser, but is this an homage to/ based upon "Fight Club"? (Brad Pitt, Edward Norton) I love a good bromance or sismance, but I can't stomach excessive violence, so just need a warning.
I believe it was because unlike in the west, girls couldn't inherit at all (I believe it was the same in France…
Britain and its Commonwealth countries made female inheritance difficult as well - so yep, it's pretty wide spread throughout The West until laws have been introduced to change it. (Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is a good example)
