We live in a weird world full of weird people (the other ones are mostly boring), so why not enjoy a drama where all characters seem a bit weird.
Loved that they didn't end it all with weddings, characters are still young and enjoy their love, friendship and work. It was also nice to see nearly all random characters in the finale. Kang Tae Oh was adorable!

I think the same endings might be explained by the need to pass censorship, dramas kinda need to show it was all a dream or not real. And after many dramas successfully passed with this kind of endings, they just use the same scheme, cause what if another ending will not pass...

She is normal, reasonable and kind person. She was good or average in university, and would successfully defend her diploma if ML would not be in a bad mood.
Unlike most FLs in Chinese dramas she didn't behave childish or ridiculous, I liked her a lot.

Yes!!! "I, Gu Jun, pay respect to Shanggu shizun". Probably the scene I watched the most times too :D And that's basically thanks to the secondary character! Actually many "last scenes" were absolutely epic and even though characters die in them, you still want to rewatch them. That's something unique.
(for those who read my comment and haven't watch drama, don't get scared - like, 99% of good characters will be reborn)

ALP is very good, and I say it as a person who wrote it was boring after 4 episodes, but I kept watching, and was so happy that I gave it a chance. They have kinda long introduction to the main story, which in most other dramas could be just text on the screen :D but thanks to this introduction you really get to know what characters lost. The main part is full of action and adventures, and emotions. There were scenes I rewatched hundred of times, literally.
Also, we see ML of this upcoming drama as a kid in ALP and he is super cute. I think it's nice to know what his childhood looked like, though they might show some flashbacks in this drama as well.

Another reason to dub xianxia/historical dramas is that they film in Hengdian where a lot of productions are filmed at the same time and you can't actually get a clean sound, there will be a lot of background noise.
I think the voice was fine, and especially good for Houchi personality, who was a very serious girl from the very beginning :)

Surprisingly nice drama, I enjoyed it most of the time, but it would be a bit better if it was a bit shorter :D
Many nice moments with the main leads, I especially liked his first unexpected kiss and the epic running sequence. Great second couple, and finally a fantastic romance for senior characters.
The first drama with Li Hong Yi for me, and I was a bit disappointed - the script was good enough for him to be an interesting character even without much acting efforts, but without this good script he would be quite boring. SML had better chemistry with the lead actress, and was so good when changing mood from funny to sad!

Hahaha, the scene in episode 6 when ML meets the painter in supermarket and they touch with their fingers 😂

ML is so weird and it's kinda adorable. Let's see if I can tolerate him for 16 episodes...

Didn't plan to watch this cause it seems to have too much drama for my current mood, but saw Zhao Zhi Wei in one of the fanvids, and damn he is so hot here as antagonist 😁

Ah, finished and loved it! FL in later episodes got better (and I watched with dubbing so didn't notice aegyo, although she did behave as a happy puppy when they got together), and ML was fantastic all the time. What a heartbreaking backstory he had, but still was able to be the most sunny person in the town.
Secondary characters were all fine, sometimes annoying, but it also gave the feeling of a family - not all members of our families are perfection, huh? :D Children were so cute!

Just started, love the ML, I was thinking recently that it would be great to find a drama with a kind ML who has a big heart and doesn't give those popular cold vibes :) As for FL, kinda hate her for now, but hope for a change :D

The chemistry was fine, kisses were real (not those fish ones), and I remember liking that when he fell for her, you could really see that it was passionate love with certain desires 😊

Better than expected. Chemistry was ok for all couples. ML's fobia took time to fix. SML was cute, but I wish he had some other function than just helping leads and their families. Ah, nice ML's assistant finally had a decent love story, unlike most other dramas.
Grandpa's attitude still feels very wrong.

Ah, he falls first, quite fast, it was a very funny period when he tried to unlove her. They confess somewhere about episode 15. And nope, no love triangles, there is a character whom you would assume to become a love rival, but it turns out he has a love story of his own.

I call it a "love triangle" only when a girl hesitates whom to choose or when SML has a lot of scenes with FL and plays significant part in the plot. Here I even can't call the lawyer a second lead, he appeared in the middle and was featured in a small number of episodes, his actions caused just one misunderstanding which was fixed soon.
Yeah, I also think that one should not pursue friend's girl, but the lawyer knew they didn't have true relationships back then and I guess he also assumed that his friend was not capable to love, so the girl would not be happy with him.

I wanted to whine about ML being not bad enough, but even that got explained in last episodes.
And that's what I liked most - that all things were explained pretty well and it was not some complicated explanation, see, drama scriptwriters? it's always easy if you use brain :D
Also, I kinda liked that they didn't push humor too much, drama had many funny scenes but it wasn't forced.
Wedding speeches were super cute and natural!

Those scenes when Xiao Wu Di is back and pretends, he doesn't remember anything, and then Lu Zi Chen appears 🤣🤣🤣

I haven't yet watched this one (waiting for it to finish) 😁 but I'd recommend Chef Hua, Qing Qing Zi Jin, Ni Chang, "Oh! My Sweet Liar!". First one fits perfectly, others might have villains or the couple gets married only at the end, but they were easy to watch, without serious misunderstandings.
