The lead couple in tSatB is great, and ML is also fantastic, but they just have a bit too many annoying women there 😁 So I mostly watched lead couple scenes. Like, imagine this drama having four Yin Zhangs instead of one 😁

It's clear they copied ML from "secretary Kim", but I find this one absolutely adorable, cause they made his narcissism less cringe, and I just LOVED how direct he was about his feelings and how delicate he was to fl in every situation. There were many nice small things making every scene with them special.
Second couple was cute too (and hot).
A lot of humor and events in each episode. And they didn't drag too much with the reveals of lies.
So, nearly perfect drama 😁👍

Nice romcom, and I kinda understand why it's so popular and high rated, but in the second half I was a bit dissapointed, mostly because of secretary Kim - she was so great while she opposed her boss and even when she started falling for him, but after they sorted out their childhood story, she became boring and lacking initiative.

Another meh for me were secondary characters, mostly cringe. Their stories would be ok and still funny if actors behaved normally instead of doing cringy comic acting.

Rare case where I wish they had more misunderstandings in the plot :D

I watched some clips and got tired with Wu Lei's stony face already :D Who had the idea that he should be looking on an invisible person in front of him all the time?

I am on episode 13 and a bit bored. Main issue is FL and all her love interests, current and future ones. All of them kinda lack energy, and sometimes it's just painful to watch how she forces herself to tolerate a man she doesn't like, just because she is "old" and needs to marry. Also, random people talking about FL's age and marriage during literally the first conversation with her - that's quite frustrating and unbelievable.
I like FL's two friends and their stories, might just check what's gonna happen with them later.

I accidentally watched Korean version instead of Chinese 🤣 Was adding some Korean dramas to my watchlist lately and just thought this was one of them when searching by title.
Anyway, cute characters, but the flaw of the story was weird sometimes . Characters seemed too childish for 30 years old at the end, they didn't change much, and therefore many years in between the events were actually not needed.
Dae Sung deserved better.

I am on episode 26 and drama continues to be weird. FL declares they are not together, but neither her nor ML seem to care much about this declaration. At the same time they don't move much further, she pushes him away every time he tries to advance and for 20 episodes she is afraid to tell her mom that she indeed likes him, meh. FL's mom is still TERRIBLE. She is worse than any annoying love rival in any drama I watched 😁

Not in those small dramas I watched lately, and which had super supportive moms :D But here the mom of FL is just terrible with her constant focus on finding a boyfriend for her daughter and not accepting daughter's own choice.

Cute and enjoyable, easy to watch even though there is not much plot, especially in the last several episodes. I am not a fan of childish FLs, and both females here were very very sweet indeed, but I could tolerate that. I really like how small dramas manage misunderstandings, in many cases they are way better than big dramas, which go full angst with separation etc, and you just feel frustration while here you feel satisfaction.
Second couple was funny but his change of feelings was a bit rushed, imo.
Zhao Zhiwei is a great kisser, and I tell this after 3 dramas with him :D

Well-written, natural romance, developing not too fast, but plot was interesting for me all the time. No love triangles for main leads, but sometimes they were jelous. He kisses her in episode 17 and after that they don't break up.

I think they had that type of "working" chemistry when they are perfect as a team. Mulder Scully type, you know. And I think such, well, basically, colleagues - can also have relationships, and although they don't do many romantic things together, they are still more than friends, and there were many scenes in the drama to show that. When they got together they continued being very professional, so I don't see how romantic line could ruin the investigation one.

Damn, it's a second drama, where I see Xu Hai Qiao (Ouyang Xu) and his eyes and face expressions are so expressive and somewhat fragile. I hope one day he gets a role of pure and kind man with a happy love story, please drama god!

Wow, this feels like an overreaction :D I never expected some super romantic scenes from characters here, as they just don't seem to be the type. I think they are both quite reasonable, and in most situations will just say what they truly think, directly and honestly. ML's world shook a bit after he fell in love, so he did act out of his usual self a couple of times, but the scene in the cave where they just talk everything out, was very nice, imo.
I saw Wang Zi Qi also in two dramas now, and he was good in both, though very different. I didn't really like the second drama, it was typical romantic pudding, but WZQ was extremely cute! And here as prince An, he is one of my favourite MLs of all times, I guess I like smart men :D

Please spoiler me the ending for ml's assistant, is he gonna survive this? The death rate of cute and funny assistants in historical dramas is like 99%, so... 😑

What a weird drama, I am on ep 14. The SML is so useless that main leads first confessions and kisses happen right in front of him 😁😁😁
I kinda like ml as character (actor - not so much) and they have nice dynamics with the fl in terms of her motivation and professional development, but for quite many episodes they just seemed to have similar conversation every time they met, over and over again, even after he declared her his girlfriend, nothing special happened.
Also, moms in this drama are horrible so far.

Thanks, I like main leads, so gonna continue, and will get myself ready for those final episodes 😊 I also can't wait to see damn Ouyang, as he is played by the actor I liked recently, and I don't know if to hope he is a total jerk or somewhat likeable character, cause I assume this actor can play both great 😁

Eh, so they travel by quite a big ship for a few days, and then in the middle of nowhere they bump into her friend in the water? A friend who stayed back there on the land? Please tell me the script is not gonna be like this for the rest of episodes 😁😁😁

High ratings got me interested, and I've just watched a few episodes, and I really like main female character, and that she is neither an innocent girl, nor an annoying child like most FLs in dramas, but... the ways they accidently meet with the ML in these few episodes are unbelievable and forced, and I just can't stop doubting a scriptwriter who even can't make his characters meet naturally... We'll see.
