So, I guess, creators thought they would include her just in case if there would be a possibility for sequel, but ALP had mixed results in performance, so not sure if there will be any side story one day.

Zheng Yecheng's character is very cute, but probably gonna be unhappy in love. He has quite many scenes though. You know, it's better to do something than not to do, so try it! :D

Just when I thought it's getting better... what a mess in episode 17! In one frame we see Na Sheng and Ning Liang captured and with swords near their necks, next frame - they already run away from soldiers in the forest.
And when did Han Zhou get injured? Did I blink and miss it? Like, they just forgot to film or cut out the scene where the character who dies in the episode, sacrificed himself to save another character???
Zhen Lan, while not being full power and not taking any powerful weapon with him, breaks through the barrier, from which no one can escape, just to ask Bai Ying how is she, or what? It would be better if he would bring a giant umbrella to cover from the sun, for god's sake!

Are all dramas with Liu Xueyi good? Cause it's the third one with him, which I liked) Drama is full of humor, never boring, very pleasant to watch.

I feel like when they have less romance and more political intrigues, the story really gets better, while they still can deliver small romantic moments. Episodes 15-16 were good.

I just finished the drama! They are gonna be cute till the end, and I think creators were pretty straightforward about their feelings, which is so surprising and nice)

As usually, there are some explanations missing at the end, but at least we have clear conclusions for most couples) I think this drama had a strong script, great characters development, and nice pace, so that I was not bored and didn't skip anything. At first I thought FL is gonna be annoying, but she changed very quickly, and most important - the plot was moving fast, and I didn't have time to be annoyed with anyone) I am even ok with the ML, I saw many people calling his acting a bit stiff, but I found him cute, especially when he was sad, he looked as ready-to-cry baby)) But Deng Wei, of course, is shining like thousand stars, very attractive actor, able to break our hearts when he cries) Thumbs up for all the cast and crew, great work! I am gonna rate drama even higher than it objectively deserves, just because it was such a pleasant watch.

Oh, looks like three of them (plus the guy with mustache Xi Jing) had the same sword master, that's why they are the best in sword fighting and have some special swords, and refer to each other as brother/sister. Taking into account, that Yu Huan is not Kong Sang, it's a bit suspicious)

Well, for now (I watched 14 episodes) the script is bad no matter if you read or didn't read the original. Most dialogues are so slow and waterly, characters just repeat the same thought several times. Many scenes lack "transition" lines which would help viewers understand where characters plan to go next and what they plan to do, that's why many people complain about editing being random. And when, in edition to all of this, I read some details from novel fans which indeed sound interesting and much more exciting than what we are shown in the drama, I can relate to their frustration even if I hadn't read the novel.

Started this for Liu Xueyi and, god, he is so hot here! I am so glad he is getting more main roles now. The story is quite simple but pleasant, I skipped some scenes, mostly with side couples - they were nice, but just a bit too much. I liked that it was quite realistic about FL and her ex, it was hard for her to dump such long relationship and that was believable. There were also many believable and good scenes between friends and relatives. If you are looking for not too complicated and not too dramatic romance - this would be a good choice.

After ep 21-22 not shipping Jack with FL anymore :D. Jack, come to senses! But in fact I love that we have to worry about nice characters making some fatal mistakes at the end just because they feel betrayed or offended. In most dramas I would know when nice characters just pretend to act bad in order to trick the villain, but here it's not like that, I am genuinely worried)
